The effect is disjointed, interrupted and a bit disturbing treatment that is skilled but less effective than other more focused and private care. Today I was refused treatment because my blood pressure was volatile, as always, and I had tingly legs and arms, as usual. The difference today was that they measured my blood pressure and realized I was right in what I had told them. They will say they are required to refuse treatment because it is dangerous. It is no more dangerous than other days for me. Dangerous for them perhaps? I got fairly good treatment here, until they realized I had been telling the truth. It took weeks to get an appointment and find a therapy that helped. Then on a day when I really needed help, they refused. This is a no, unless you are young, strong and healthy and your insurance pays on time. My bill got more attention than my health problems today.

In general they are quick to come and get you for your appointment (usually within 5 minutes). They ask a few questions on how you are feeling and continue on where you left off with treatment. At the end they give you a few things to do as "homework" before your next appointment to keep the therapy on track. While it is really easy to find (just a couple doors down from starbucks in the Railey's shopping center) parking is a bit of a chore. trying to get a spot in front of the entrance (when you are having pains walking) is almost impossible because it shares the same lot as starbucks and subway.

As a client now for over 3 years having had several surgeries- rotary cuff, lumbar laminectomy and lumbar fusion, my progress only stops if I don't do my home program exercises, but I do the work because they make me feel motivated to improve! All the PTs are awesome. Adam is the best! He does a complete assessment and work out program. He even educates and tests his techs on procedures to see if they know why certain exercises and techniques are more effective. He truly cares about setting his techs up for success as future PTs and many have gone on to get multiple acceptances from programs nationwide. Everyone treat you like family there!! Even though I understand I signed a no-show and late cancellation policy, I wish there was more understanding for unexpected illness. I have 4 kids. The odds of unexpected illness is fairly high. They still charged me $150, which feels unfair under the circumstances. Considering my physical therapist wore a mask, I doubt she'd have wanted me to show up sick. With something as uncomfortable and invasive as pelvic floor therapy, I would prefer a business that is compassionate and caring. Because of how this was handled, I won't be returning.

As women we hold a lot of stress but continue throughout our day just trying to survive and so tension can build up in our pelvic floor. This is where Dr. Kiley comes in to help! Her space is safe and she listens to your concerns. She also gives you homework to do to help with anything she think you need help with. After my postpartum care, she let me know I can come back as needed or until I get pregnant again! ..and here we are!
