I was disappointed with my experience here. My family and I got sick, and I called to reschedule - not cancel- reschedule my appointment. Even though I understand I signed a no-show and late cancellation policy, I wish there was more understanding for unexpected illness. I have 4 kids. The odds of unexpected illness is fairly high. They still charged me $150, which feels unfair under the circumstances. Considering my physical therapist wore a mask, I doubt she'd have wanted me to show up sick. With something as uncomfortable and invasive as pelvic floor therapy, I would prefer a business that is compassionate and caring. Because of how this was handled, I won't be returning. read more

There is not enough good things I can say about Dr. Kiley and her staff! I established with her back in 2021for postpartum care after I delivered my first born! I was referred to her by my chiropractor and I'm so glad she did! Pelvic floor therapy is a different ball game but it is just as important as anything physical therapy especially for women's health! What I've learned is, it's not about kegels! I initially came in with an open mind not knowing what to expect and always left feeling great! As women we hold a lot of stress but continue throughout our day just trying to survive and so tension can build up in our pelvic floor. This is where Dr. Kiley comes in to help! Her space is safe and she listens to your concerns. She also gives you homework to do to help with anything she think you need help with. After my postpartum care, she let me know I can come back as needed or until I get pregnant again! ..and here we are! The staff is always cordial and happy to talk to whether it's for checking in/out or making appointments on the phone. Masks are still required at this facility so don't forget your maskies! While I've only had two visits so far for one condition. I'm planning on going to them after my shoulder surgery. They are a small operation and they only book one client per therapist per hour. So you have your therapist's attention during your entire visit. Their office has one of the few therapist in NV that specializes is women's incontinence. Pelvic floor PT during pregnancy is an invaluable resource! Even when not pregnant it is such an important part of health that I wish more people had access to! Dr Kiley co owns SOPT with her husband and she/the practice are amazing. She is trauma informed and makes a very vulnerable experience super comfortable. She also sees results with her clients that help both in birth and beyond. Dr Kiley is very passionate about her work and is a strong advocate for her clients and even those who have not yet made it on her table. I would highly recommend SOPT to anyone pregnant or experiencing any pelvic floor discomfort! Because she's so great she's got quite the waitlist. Dr kiley and her team- specifically bri who you get when you call (i am pretty sure that is her name) are absolutely incredible 1000% professional but on top of it they go above and beyond to be so kind and make sure it is an experience in which you feel seen, heard, in control, safe, comfortable, etc etc. Dr kileys demeanor is the kind of person i would love to have in my corner for everything life throws. Calm, so knowledgeable, and frankly makes me feel like i can do anything. I feel so lucky that i got referred to this office for post partum and prenatal care. My PT who I've seen for years recently retired, which left me hunting for another PT I could trust. I found Kevin & Kiley at SOPT through Yelp and liked the few reviews I saw. I decided to give them a try as I was having severe hip pain and my orthopedic doctor did nothing to help. Kevin has been working with me about two months and my pain is much reduced and my flexibility has been greatly enhanced. Before walking around my house hurt. Now if I walk all day long I get a little pain but it's getting better every week. I really think if you are in pain, recovering from a surgery or injury you give these two a try. If you haven't ever heard of pelvic PT, and are looking for places to go after getting referred, definitely come see Kiley or Megan! Reno has a very small group of true specialists in this field, and I feel beyond lucky to have gotten in at Sierra Ortho. I have seen Kiley on two separate treatment plans, given to me by two separate doctors. It was incredible to see how she is so flexible in curating care to your specific needs, especially after being sent in with two very different problems. It is incredible to find a PT who treats YOU for YOUR problems, and does not give the textbook care for a textbook problem to all her patients. She always provides a full hour of one on one care, that shifts as your problems change. Kiley is also extremely caring for her patients and will go the extra mile to make sure you get the care you need. I was 19 when I started care here, and it was obviously very scary and daunting to me being so young. Kiley spent almost a full hour verbally walking me through the process, benefits, and options for care. She takes the first few appointments to get you totally comfortable with the process, and in no time it becomes totally easy. I honestly can't say enough positive things about my experience at SOPT! I recently injured my hip flexor and was unable to run, something I really enjoy as part of my normal fitness routine. I thought, I'll just stretch it out and it will go away on its own. Boy was I wrong! After a month of serious pain I finally reached my breaking point and scheduled my first ever PT visit. After 3 sessions I'm finally back to running, albeit a little slower for right now, but it feels great to start doing something I love again. And I owe it to SOPT. I have had two shoulder replacement surgeries in 9 months and this is my first experience with Physical Therapy. My left shoulder was done in Sept. 2019 and my right was done in June 2020. Thanks to Sierra Orthopaedic PT I am moving and using both my arms at full strength and have my range of motion back. Their main concern is getting you back to your normal self. I was seen at Sierra Orthopedic Physical Therapy by Dr. Kiley Lester for pelvic physical therapy while I was pregnant with my second child. Hands down the best health decision I have EVER made for myself. My first child was delivered by a forceps assisted delivery. During this delivery my tailbone was injured and 2.5 years later (when I became pregnant with my second) was still causing me pain. I saw Dr. Lester for the majority of my second pregnancy to help with my tailbone pain and to prepare myself for delivering my second child. I was so afraid of further injuring my tailbone or having another difficult delivery. After being treated by Dr. Lester I felt so much more prepared and confident to deliver my second child. My tailbone was so much better even while I was still pregnant. I am now 3 months postpartum with my second baby and I am so happy I chose to see Dr. Lester during my pregnancy. My delivery went so well and my recovery has been so easy. No pain at all in my tailbone. My postpartum visit with Dr. Lester was also so helpful for me to feel confident getting back to normal activity. I cannot stress enough how important these visits were to helping me have a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and recovery. Pelvic physical therapy should be a standard of care for ALL pregnant women. read more

Both Kevin and Kiley are friendly and pleasant to work with as well as enthusiastic about their patients. We've been to other physical therapists in Reno for the same problem and they each offered the same standard exercises - it was like the same drill with no back pain improvements.
