I have been coming here for over a decade and I am probably healthier than I have been in the last 40 years thanks to a doctors who cares about the whole person and a medical group that doesn't give up on their patient. If I had had the privilege of knowing this group of medical professionals years ago, I wouldn't spend so long, not working and living on disability, so that people understand being on disability is not a privilege and it sucks so when you find someone who can help you get back to being a normal person it really means the world. I told the nurse practitioner, Gina what I thought the problem was (suspected my husband had a kidney infection). She was personal, easy to understand, very friendly, and helpful when we asked questions. If you are looking for an affordable visinstead of getting slapped with a $300 walk in bill from Sanford or Essentia, check this place out. $50 for the walk-in, $5 for the pee test, and $10 for the 10 day prescription. Update.... We had to visit again today. My 3 year old and I have been sick for 5 days and we went in. Same great service with no wait. We walked out with 3 medications (Zpack, cough pearls, and amoxicillin). We were in and out in 25 minutes. With medication that we filled on site and our visit for both of us, we paid $135. A fantastic place to go if you don't want to wait hours at other walk in clinics and pay hundreds of dollars.

I had inpatient chemotherapy every other week from July 16th to September 2024. I would be hospitalized for 4 to 5 days every other week. In October 2024 I had a Bone Marrow Transplant and was hospitalized for 3 weeks. I had the best care I've ever had in my life. A huge shout out to Dr. Maliske and his nursing staff and the Bone Marrow Transplant care team. Also, a huge shout out to the 7th floor staff the nurses, CNA's housekeepers and the most amazing Medical Secretary. They truly are the most compassionate team ever. He retired last year and I went somewhere else for a few appointments and I wasn't listened to at all and lots of changes were being made and the focus was not on my mental health during my appointments. I called KOA to see if I could see new psychiatrist. I got in fairly quickly and again, I am listened to and being dealt with as a person, with the focus on my mental health. It is such a relief to know that I have someone I trust. I have looked in to some of their group therapy offers from the therapists, but so far they haven't worked with my college and work schedule. Hopefully some day they will because they sound helpful.
