I paid $100 in cash and I received $5.63 back. I checked the receipt as I was walking out. The receipt showed change back of $7.63. I was shorted $2. I went right back inside and presented my receipt and the change back. The employee apologized and gave me back $2. I should mention that they were not super busy at all. 2 star is for not trusting the check out process. I will go back there again for shopping with full attention to scanning and checking the receipt. The management needs to work on gaining the public trust back. I reversed the review to 5stars for timely response from the business.

Decent prices and good looking pastries. Still feels like a startup though. Cashiers are training and doing their jobs. Hashi Market has been upgrading too. I purchased 3 large bags of dumplings for only $10. It was a good sale this weekend. Celery pork/leek-scallions pork/cilantro chicken/etc. I think their fresh vegetables have dropped in prices too ($1.49-$2.99 per lbs.). Finally. I come here for tofu selections too. You can also find good 1liter healthy coconut water for under $3 each now. Hashi Market is slowly improving and training more new employees inside. This grocery store is convenient and they have made the aisles more spacious to walk around. Food deli area is still operating. I think the place is much better now compared to when it was the Marina grocery store in past years. Japanese products are showing up more and things are more positive here. I'll be back to try a few more breads/buns. $1.99 for good looking breads is cheap and decent here.

They said they had to check the camera and could not do it at that time, so they asked me to go home and wait for a call ( pork feet were sold by the pound, it would be very unlikely for two separate purchases to have the exact same weight and price ) 5 DAYS later, they finally called and said they had checked the camera and would refund me when I came back. I did get my money back, but I think the way they handled such a simple mistake was very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time I had a similar issue at 99 Ranch with a more expensive item, and they refunded me immediately If you shop here, check your receipt before leaving to avoid wasting time like I did

Entire left side isn't utilized. Big aisles with most shelves filled with goods at reasonable prices. Mexican, American, and Asian products sold. Medicines & hard liquors sold in front. Special section with products for Lunar New Year also in front. Sad to see only one register open. Didn't look for specials. May return at a future date when I have more time. Majority of shoppers were Chinese.

Most of their locations are now rebranded as Hashi Market which is an improved grocery store with a bit more variety and some Japanese items. Driving up to this location, you will still see the old Marina Grocery Store as they are transitioning to Hashi Market. At least the shopping carts do read Hashi Market on them. It looks like a legit grocery store and it's still very spacious with lots of selections inside. I saw more cash registers opened and operating during lunch hours. Convenient and walkable plaza. Cashiers are busy and occupied as usual. It does get crowded at times, especially in this plaza surrounded by high population residents and apartment units nearby. I still see elderly seniors walking around and walking home. The Japanese foods/snacks section is not bad at all. I definitely found some good items on sale today. Give Hashi Market some time to rebrand and pick up the pace. Hashi Market in Milpitas is also looking much better nowadays. This place is convenient is you're in the area for sure. There's plenty of good restaurants and nearby shops to browse around or you can also cross the streets to the next plazas all around. Looking good for now.

There was a good variety of fresh good looking produce here. They also have a large dried noodle section, with lots of gluten free selections. The man at the counter was polite, and seemed like a kind man, contrary to what I've read on here. There is a strong smell in the market, but to me it's the usual "Asian market smell" Maybe it's from the fresh meat/seafood section in the back. Don't expect it to smell like a Lucky's. Lol.
