The store is separated into three distinct area (women's, men's and kids). Within those sections lie various types of shoes for purchase. I was in need of works shoes along with casual sneakers. I found a fantastic deal in work shoes in their clearance rack. I also found a reasonably priced pair of Converse. Show Carnival is always offering coupons and the staff there really does a great job of making sure you're getting the best deal. Anytime you purchase more than one item, you're allowed to spin their wheel which offers additional discounts. Shoe Carnival at the beaches is a great place for your shoe needs regardless of what they are. I recommend you give them a try.

The deals here really make it difficult to not visit every day! I used to be a New Balance guy but I found what seemed to be changes in the shoes that caused them to not last as long as they used to. I didn't need to stick with NB anymore since my military service ended. But I found an opportunity to give another brand a try. I picked up a sturdy black trail shoe that continues to impress me and shows no signs of wearing out, whether on the trails shooting photos and videos, walking the beach, or for everyday use. I picked up a couple of dress shoes as well. One was a pair of brown slip-ins, that not only fit like a glove, but are a comfy as all get out! With both of these, my old Walking Co. shoes have been replaced. My second pair of dress shoes are black waterproof but are not slip-ins. Each pair have been terrific in appearance and durability. It's pretty clear Sketchers has come a long way in recent years! I will say if you come here, first you much look for deals - that's what an outlet like this is all about. Also, you must sign up for emails and rewards! You will get rewarded many times over! I'll finally say that the customer service has been stellar. I truly appreciate the employees here helping me with my questions and aiding me to get the best in the deals they offer. Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. I highly recommend getting custom insoles for anyone who has foot pain and the insoles bought in stores don't really fit or work. The customer service is so amazing here! They offer appointments so they can really take their time evaluating your issues and work on getting all of the information and measurements needed for custom insoles. They answer any and all questions you have and will even help you find appropriate shoes or see if your shoes are good and just need adjusting. If these were photography backpacks I would have gotten one! But I did leave there on this day with a pretty "cool" Van's ball cap that is fashionable wear in summer time. Van's isn't a huge by any means, but they just sell good stuff! I am fascinated every time I visit. My friend picked up a nicely designed boonie cover (well, that's what we called them back in my deployment days) and an awesome off white pair shorts. Now, the staff that helped us on this day was one of the best I've experienced in a clothing shop. From enthusiasm, to answering questions, ensuring we get the best discounts, and helping us to sign up for their rewards/app, etc., I was extremely impressed. There is a welcoming atmosphere here and I'd sure enjoy coming back anytime. I really don't think prices at Van's are overly high when compared to other outlets of its type at Town Center. The reason I rated them 3 out of 5 stars is the lack of inventory. While the stores presentation made it appear like they had a lot of shoes and sneakers, the fact was they only had a few pair of each kind. This particular store is located on San Jose in the shopping center after Walmart. The store has always been clean, organized and employees helpful. There is never a lack of footie socks to try on shoes and if you shop sales you can get some good deals. If you don't see your size, the employees can check another store for your size and ask that it be held for you. They can also order and ship shoes to your home. I recently returned a pair after deciding the fit wasn't quite perfect. So long as you don't wear the shoes outside on pavement, they will accept a return. Sign up for their emails for coupons and rewards. I don't get email spammed and have pulled up coupons on my phone to save a few bucks.
