I consider myself a professional but it was hard to keep my composure after being patronized during a disagreement about a refund and then mocked as I was leaving the store! She was shocked when I re-entered the store and asked her "what kind of manager openly mocks a customer to another associate!?" Seriously, who does this??!! In a profession where customer service skills are crucial, you desperately need to rethink your career choice because being nice to customers just isn't for you.

They also have sections dedicated to household kitchen gadgets, bathroom (towels), bedroom (comforter sets, sheets, pillows), outdoor (kind of limited at this location - but some outdoor rated chairs), electronics (typically a small selection of ear buds/head phones, smart home, and PS4/XBOX games - this location, no different, very little selection), shoes (from sporty to casual to dress - probably one of the best value for the money you can find in one of their stores is the shoe prices) and a few other things. This store is laid out pretty similar to any of the other ones I've been in. Staff (one person working at the front check out) greeted us when we came in and wished us a good night when we left. Store was clean and prices are prominently displayed on digital readouts located by the items (especially in kitchen gadgets area). All in all this location is pretty good, clean and well stocked. If I was in the area and looking for any of the things listed above, I'd stop by this location again.

Some of the shoes needed new heels put on; others just needed the little heel protectors applied. They saved me so much money by being able to keep my favorite shoes instead of throwing them away. I have been coming to Gem shoe repair for decades. I feel really proud to support a wonderful family-owned, local small business. Clearly the word has gotten out about their good craftsmanship, and now everybody wants to go there. I had to wait a few weeks on my order, but they were totally upfront about that. Store looks like it was maybe an old grocery store or something that has been remodeled somewhat to be a department store. Really large floor space that is packed out with apparel and accessories. Men's section was especially large and had considerably more Nike, Under Armour and North Face than any of our local locations. Also, if you're looking for game gear (Bama, JSU, and the orange team) they have a huge selection of t-shirts, hoodies, polos, décor, etc. Prices are good, and they have lots of promotions that will get you an extra 20% off one item, sometimes your entire shopping tip. Also, they run buy one get one 1/2 off on shoes from time to time. Can't finish this review without spending a second to rave about the customer service. We couldn't find a size of shoe that online indicated they had. The person working in the shoe area ripped the department apart trying to find the size we were after. Even though we were disappointed they didn't have it, it wasn't a lack of effort on their part to try and help us out. Really great store ... Highly Recommended!!!!
