Only when my husband gave one of the associates a stern look did she finally approach us, asking curtly if we wanted to see something. No greeting or friendly demeanor. Given the year is 2025, it's disappointing to experience such microaggressions. Nordstrom Rack, consider hiring staff who provide better customer service at this location.

I learned that I have very low arches and that one of my feet is larger than the other. I forgot the name of the employee who helped me unfortunately, but they were patient and very informative. The selection at the store was very broad as well, they had Nike, aesics, saucony, hoka, and a few others. There were also rollers, socks, insoles, and other equipment you could purchase. There was also the option to order a shoe in a color that wasn't currently stocked which I thought was helpful. In the end I got a pair of saucony guide 15s. Tldr: I was a newbie to running shoes but the service and selection here was so great and I felt that I learned a lot. I recommend!

My PT therapist mentioned Montague & Son The Birkenstock Store located in Herndon and yesterday I finally dropped by. Located close to Lotte Plaza and Fair Oaks Hospital, it's a small store but packed with Birkenstock sandals and other ancillaries . I was met entering by a young lady (Ceres?)who took her time to help me decide which sandals would fit and what colors were available (none of mine were so went with second best). She was very thorough, up to the point where another young lady who was obviously a close friend stopped by and then I had her divided attention to check-out. I have my sandals and tried them as directed for an hour first day and the tried the second day. It hurt in the top of my foot and I had to read the reviews to find out why it was hurting. Would have been nice to have been told that by my associate. Not cheap so pay attention in the store. I overheard another associate going deeper into the physical aspects of the sandals so try and see if you can enter, walk around and listen in to conversations to see which associate seem to be most knowledgeable. Hopefully the sandals will break in shortly and I can experience the benefit.

While we were waiting there were two people in front of us using the machine on their own. There was no one from the store helping them. I assumed I could do the same(use the machine). When I was asking my husband to take his shoes off a person on my back told me "NO, YOU DO NOT DO THAT" I turned around and told him there was nobody there and the other people were using it. He told me with a hash tone I HAVE TO HELP YOU. I literally thought he was going to tell me to help me understand the results of the machine. The only thing he did was press start and he LEFT. HE LEFT without an explanation or NOTHING. I felt like a person being joked by a selfish guy. NO One in the store said anything. We turned around and left. I took a picture of the people that were at the store and only white people were being helped . I'm sorry but I have to say it, there are stores that are very racist and this is one of them. The clothes inside equally amazing and surprisingly affordable. Lots of famous brands and really high quality clothing in a variety of sizes. They don't have fitting rooms which I was at first not happy about, but as it turns out everyone just changes in front of the mirrors in a back corner. It was the most fun communal shopping experience I've ever had, getting feedback on everything I tried on. This is my go-to shop for dance clothes and work clothes from here on out.

The sales associate (Jane) walked us through the Aetrex machine to see our feet size/shape to find the best pair for us as well. SERVICE Jane Lee, the sales associate, was very kind and friendly! She took our call when we called ahead of time and walked us through the Aetrex machine, showed us various pairs of Birkenstocks that aligned with what we were looking for, and taught us the maintenance as well. VALUE The shoes here are comparable to that of online and other stores. We decided to purchase a pair here since we could try it on and look at the colors in person since they vary leather to leather. PARKING Ample parking is available in front of the store that is shared by other stores in the shopping center.

Burlington = Retail Nightmare…read more Where do I even start? 1 Had to hunt down an employee just to ask about returns. She confidently told me I couldn't return without a receipt. (Wrong. The cashier later gave me store credit in 2 seconds. So... why is your staff giving customers false info??) 2 Stood in a 30-minute return line because only two registers were open. 3 Fitting room employee? Rude, short, and definitely not customer-friendly. 4 Went to check out. Another 35 minutes in line. Watched an employee organize shopping bags for TEN minutes before hopping on a register while 30+ people stood there fuming. Yes, I took a picture. This place is chaos: disorganized, understaffed, poor selection of merchandise and apparently allergic to customer service. Honestly felt like they were daring people to never come back.
