Bealls was totally new to me since we do not have them back home, so I was excited to check it out. It gave me Ross meets Home Goods energy, just slightly more expensive. I did a quick glance through the clothing section, but between the mannequins and styling nothing really felt like my vibe, so I skipped ahead to the other departments. The shoe section had some cute options, but even the clearance prices were a bit higher than I wanted to spend. Then I hit the suitcase section and immediately saw the one. Pink and black leopard print. Extra? Absolutely. Subtle? Not even a little. Did it have my name written all over it? Yes. I hesitated because it felt a little flimsy and it was about 80 dollars. I pulled up reviews and saw others mention the same thing, but most said it held up just fine. Walking away from it felt harder than it should have, so I bought it. Then there was the pink and white flamingo beach bag. I loved it. Thirty dollars though, so I talked myself out of it. For about 24 hours. I could not stop thinking about that bag and ended up going back the next day to get it. Best decision ever. I used it every single day for the rest of the trip and I already know it will get plenty of use this summer. I did not interact much with staff besides checkout, but the cashier was friendly, asked about their rewards program, and made small talk about where I was visiting from. Overall it was a really pleasant experience. If we had a Bealls back home, I would definitely pop in to browse again.

I kept checking back. First, I was told that they sent away the jewelry to see if it was valuable. Second, I was told that she had a falling out with her sister-in-law and it was all her fault. Third, I was told that she didn't know where the jewelry was. I kept checking back and getting the runaround. Today, in front of customers she was very rude to me. She told me that she had tried to contact me 4 times. I have no record of her trying to call me. She told me that she most likely disposed of the jewelry in the box. Disposed of my late mother's jewelry. I could wonder if this was a one time occurrence, but I spoke with a woman at a garage sale who also sent items there and never heard back. I am also reading reviews of people who have done consignment and have also been treated this way. If you want to shop there, that is wonderful. If you want to do consignment- BEWARE. For all that I know, she could still have the jewelry and sold it and never gave me the money. I hope that she is able to sleep at night. I can't believe how rude she was to me and I am a customer. No more. I have also told my friends and let them know that this is shady.

They had a ton of bathing suit options, which made sense for the area, so that part was great. But the clothing... I don't know if it's just this Target or all Targets right now, but the fashion was rough. Like actually made me laugh a little walking past some of the displays. I did try on a couple swimsuits, but unfortunately they just didn't work for my body type, so I grabbed what I needed and moved on. Didn't really interact with any staff. No one at the entrance, no one at the fitting rooms, and I ended up using self checkout. Overall fine for what I needed, just don't go in expecting a fashion moment.

This store does have a card minimum of $10 to keep in mind when you're browsing. There were a few shoppers that were disappointed when they reached the front of the line with a $3 purchase and no cash. The staff also said they prefer not to just round these small purchases up, even under the guise of a donation. The areas that stuck out the most were the many shoe racks and the children's section. There was also specific shelves for glassware, books, clothing, furniture, electronics, luggage, and miscellaneous. If I ever find myself back in the area, I'll definitely be stopping by to check out new inventory!

Animal charities are among my favorite organizations to support, so I made a point of stopping by this thrift store during a recent visit to Titusville. The SPCA also operates a second thrift store in Melbourne. The store offers a large selection of gently used merchandise which includes clothing, shoes, accessories, furniture, DVDs, toys, books, home décor, electronics, and kitchenware. I appreciated that each department was clearly marked with overhead signs, making it easy to find what I was looking for. I also liked that the electronics were labeled as having been tested before being offered for sale. While the selection and prices were both good, the store could benefit from a little more organization, merchandising, and general cleaning to create a more inviting shopping experience. In a few areas, merchandise was sitting on the floor, making the space feel somewhat cluttered. Despite those minor issues, I enjoyed my visit. The prices are reasonable, the inventory is varied, and most importantly, every purchase helps support a wonderful organization that gives homeless animals a second chance.
