One trip that we took to this thrift store my mother found a mug for me that says "Best Boston Terrier Mom Ever" and I'm a Boston Terrier lover! She also found a baby play pen that we used for my Boston Terrier puppy Sweet Pea. Finally the service here is always kind and they will do their absolute best to help you if you ever need assistance for any reason.

Proceeds from the SPCA of Brevard Thrift Store help support the organization's mission of caring for homeless pets and improving their quality of life. Animal charities are among my favorite organizations to support, so I made a point of stopping by this thrift store during a recent visit to Titusville. The SPCA also operates a second thrift store in Melbourne. The store offers a large selection of gently used merchandise which includes clothing, shoes, accessories, furniture, DVDs, toys, books, home décor, electronics, and kitchenware. I appreciated that each department was clearly marked with overhead signs, making it easy to find what I was looking for. I also liked that the electronics were labeled as having been tested before being offered for sale. While the selection and prices were both good, the store could benefit from a little more organization, merchandising, and general cleaning to create a more inviting shopping experience. In a few areas, merchandise was sitting on the floor, making the space feel somewhat cluttered. Despite those minor issues, I enjoyed my visit. The prices are reasonable, the inventory is varied, and most importantly, every purchase helps support a wonderful organization that gives homeless animals a second chance. That's a cause I will always support.

Goldie's and it's staff have been amazing as I've gotten rid of things, that I didn't need before I…read moremoved, and now I as I needed random things after I had moved, and all my friends and family have caught onto my Merritt Island secret so now I thought I'd let everyone else and in on it. My secret is not my secret anymore, Goldies is perfect for people who are reducing items before I move, who need to decorate the first apartment who end up with too much stuff to fit in their new place or end up with too much space and not enough stuff. Going up to Titusville for a doctor appointment and in search of new thrift stores, my mother and I…read morewent searching. We found a place called "Hope for North Brevard." We went into the store which was nicely laid out. Browsing around I found some patterns to but even if they were expensive and overpriced by $1 or more, when all of a sudden I went from 0 to 99% in need of a bathroom. I search throughout the store, cramping severely, when I ended up by the front register where 2 employees were standing about and asked both for the restroom. They each said that they didn't have one for the public but that they were "willing" to hold onto my items while I went down the street to Publix. There was no way that I could do that. They said that I could talk to the manager. The manager was outside on the phone needing back into the store. When she arrived, I explained my situation and even presented a Disability Card which also explained my situation. She didn't care. She stated that they just spent $10,000 in getting it refurbished and that they wouldn't/couldn't do that. I explained that I understood that some people could destroy a bathroom but this situation was different. I needed the bathroom desperately and They could inspect the bathroom before and after I was finished and if they saw any problems whatsoever, i would pay for it. Still no. I was close to "losing" it and told her so when she, the manager, told me to leave. I expressed my anger and frustration. I will be following this up with the American Disability act, and also search for the church that they service. I will never, ever visit this store again and I will continue to tell anyone and everyone about this situation and how I was treated. And I hope that if you do visit this store , you don't have an emergency where you need a bathroom.

My family and I frequent Blessed Sacrament Thrift Shop. We went in to this thrift store recently…read moreand we were in for a treat. They were having a sale on clothing, each piece was $1! My mom said that she was buying that day, so we were in for a double treat! My mother, and my brother, and myself had a wonderful time looking through the different beautiful pieces of clothing, and we found some really great pieces to take home that day. After we searched throughout the store, and found some great items to purchase, we got in line to checkout. While I was in the checkout line, I asked the team member behind the counter which days do they usually have this sale. He said that he doesn't like to advertise the sale days in advance, because when he does this, everybody waits until the sale day to come in to the store. I just want everyone to know that if they like this thrift store, they should visit this thrift store as frequently as they can. Proceeds from sales at Blessed Sacrament Thrift Shop support a very good cause, and they never know when they will happen upon a day when they are selling all clothes for $1.

Prices were high. $5 for a used tee seems high - can buy brand new on Amazon for that price w/ free shipping. Other thrifts have similar high prices, but usually offer discounts (by tag color or senior days). If there was any discounts, would be great if staff told people when they arrive.
