Probably because they aren't a popular team in Nebraska (still, Lids had like three T-Wolves lids, fwiw). A man who I presumed to be the owner even admitted he used to live in Minneapolis for a few years and had a bunch of Twins memorabilia all over the place inside Pro Image. Go figure. I did find and purchase an incredibly awesome San Antonio Spurs "dad" lid, so I did get my lid fix after all. Not a bad little store! The lids/sports clothes store at the mall used to be one of my favorites as a kid, so browsing around brought back some nice lil feels.

I've had times when every employee was eager to help out and others where I've felt like my presence was an interruption. There's a young lady named Taylor, who is AMAZING!!! She is a fountain of knowledge and is always chatting customers up and ensuring that everyone leaves with what they came to get. For all the sneaker heads, this location usually keeps one of whatever is about to be the next drop in a glass case near the register or in the front display. This gives you the chance to see the quality and touch whatever that next "grail" may be. Whenever raffles are happening, this location always keeps it orderly (by having the customers form a line towards Rue 21) and seems to get people in and out pretty quickly. They only had 9's (which I usually wear), and they seemed to fit well. After taking them home and wearing them for a whole evening, they broke in a little bit and became loose. So I took them back today and came to find that they didn't have an 8.5, but the manager was nice enough to call the other local store without request and sadly with no success. So he continued the excellent service and went through the process of ordering the size I needed online and sending them to my house with no extra cost. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience when I back less than 24 hours later to return items. I was met by a very aggressive woman with glasses and a beanie. She told me she could not do anything for my boots return because I had worn them for one day, despite telling her they were super tight and hurting my ankles. She refused to call her district manager or customer service or anyone to get another opinion. She told me I needed to call customer service myself if I had an issue. She then tried to correlate my attempted return to the same as someone she dealt with prior that was arrested and in jail and tried to return the shoes with an unknown substance on them?? This woman clearly needs retrained and or removed from this position. She had ZERO empathy for my situation and seemed to be worried about a $225 return then making a customer happy. I know I am going to seriously reconsider future shopping at 5.11 because of her horrendous attitude and ability to be flexible and problem solve. I called customer service after I left the store and they immediately processed a return and refund. Wow, see there is an exception to most situations.
