The course was easy to navigate, the staff was kind, and so were the other players along the course yesterday. I'm still learning and don't get out much but my boyfriend asked me to come along so I figured why not? I love that this course can be completed in an afternoon or morning and you can still manage to get other things done the same day. The course takes you up along the side of the lake and back around to the 9th hole hitting over the lake. I thought that was kind of fun. I mostly started at the red since I'm still a beginner bug hopefully I can move back to the white or blue! As far as golf courses go, I don't have much experience, but I will say I really like the layout of this course and how close it is to where we live!

I travel a lot with work and try to play local courses when I can. This may have been the worst…read moreexperience that I've had at a public course. The track was pretty and and the only problems with the course were dents in the greens. I ended up being stuck behind two groups of kids as a single. They were playing very slow. I caught them on every box and they never said a word or asked if I would like to play through. They drove on the fringe multiple times, and got their cart stuck for 20+ min trying to drive through a creek. At this point I quit(number 8 I believe) and waited for them to hit their tee shots on 9 before I drove around. 4 people hit 7 tee shots with me waiting to pass! After I got to the pro shop, I let the pro know what happened and how disappointed I was. He offered me a rain check and when I told him that I lived out of state and would prefer a refund, he offered me a refund for 9 saying that I had already played 8 holes. I let him know that I didn't feel like that was fair, but he said that was the best that he could do so I left.

They were so easy to work with, had very reasonable pricing, and the food was absolutely delicious!! They had a patio attached to the private room where we threw the party that had a beautiful view of the river to enjoy and a little grassy area next to it where we were able to have some games for the kids. Everything was set up beautifully in the room for us and the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating! My parents had an amazing time and said it was an unforgettable experience! Thanks Dodge Riverside Golf Club for helping us to create such a special day for our parents and memories of a lifetime!

For a municipal course and the price, this course has a nice setup. From the tips, it's about 6700…read moreyards, with tee boxes for seniors and women as well. Not really many hazards, but not quite as open as some other Omaha courses. I would rate it 5/10 on the difficulty level. There are some great chances for birdie, especially hole 8, and other holes can be punishing if you don't hit your spot (hole 5). No driving range, and not a ton of amenities to speak of, but the pro shop does serve a small selection of beer and snacks, and a tasty hot dog and jalapeno cheddar brat.

The course overall is very well maintained and pretty long - the front 9 offered up two par 3s and the remainders long 4s and a couple of 5s. The fairways run up against each other so it was a common occurrence to have another group in our fairway attempting to punch their shot back onto their hole. My only gripe is we were out on a perfect day and a beer cart never once came around. Road noise off of 72nd can also be a bit distracting, but overall, I highly recommend.

As a paying member of Valley View Golf Course, I'm outraged at how I was treated here. I admit I…read moremade a mistake by playing the back 9 without paying immediately, but I had every intention of returning my key and settling up afterwards. Instead of handling the matter professionally, the manager cussed at me, accused me of "stealing," and turned the situation into a public scene. Even worse, my friends who had nothing to do with this, were kicked off on the very last hole. She went as far as to call me a "bad friend," trying to equate that with being a bad person. That kind of personal attack is unprofessional and unnecessary. To make things worse, she claimed to be the "owner," which I later found out is not true she is only the manager. As a member, I expected to be treated with respect, but instead I was humiliated and disrespected. This entire situation could have been handled calmly and privately, but instead it became hostile and embarrassing. Valley View should seriously reconsider who they put in charge of managing the course.

I have worked at Player's Club for almost three years and the atmosphere is great! Most of the…read moremembers really get along with each other and hang out outside the club. They remember our (the people that work there) names and treat us really well, so we make a point to treat them the same! I have made some lifelong friends at the Player's Club. It's a great job for someone who hasn't found a career yet and we make sure it's a great time for our members and guests! 5 stars for Player's Club!
