We have been coming here once to twice a year and I'll have to admit they do a great job!! They put money back into this place. Something new every year. All my grandkids love it! The food is good but the wait can be long. This is a family fun establishment. I would give it 5 stars but the prices are HIGH. for 3 adults and 2 children it was over $100 just to get in. 2 dozen donuts, 2 bags of popcorn, and 4 caramel apples was $55. I visited this place early October. This was an amazing farm! The Fall activities were much more then I expected based on the photos I found of it online. There was SO many activities! I Just recommend to visit early or midweek, we were passing through so we were there at 12:30 on a Saturday and it was PACKED, a wait for every activity and super long waits for coffee and food. One (of the two) port-a-potty was full, pretty gross. There was another bathroom on site but I didn't see how many stalls it had, like was long. read more

This place is awesome! Clean, very family friendly... not sure what people are talking about regarding no activities for older people - do y'all not play with your kids? There's an awesome obstacle course, a huge ground trampoline, an apple shootin gun, LOTS of mini games, slides, carnival style games and things like that for ALL ages! The cider is so yummy and I recommend trying the coffee too. That being said, there were multiple occasions where the customer service was questionable so I'm docking a star for that. Multiple times employees seemed annoyed mentioning apples (as tho they don't sell apple cider). And don't touch the bags of donuts! The donuts should really be placed out of reach if employees are going to be so rude... the lady said she needed to hand us the bag herself so I said "so you're going to hand me the bag that I'm then gonna grab?" There was another instance where I was approached about my service dog, understandably because they have a no pet policy, but he questioned me even after I told him he was a PSA for epilepsy and he replied that service dogs don't yelp/cry something along those lines. First off, my PSA definitely does cry when he is not within reach of my daughter who was enjoying time on a swing. What bothered me most was how long we were followed and pointed at before being approached and then to have the guy go back and forth and me. I honestly thought we were doing something wrong on the swing. Based on previous reviews, this place has a LOT of potential and is a great time, but I hope they continue to push their employees to be accepting of everyone and to just be nice. No one wants to spend $100 on family activities and have multiple experiences of poor customer service. I wish I knew the daughters name of the Rader Family Farm but she was so damn nice it was like I knew her my whole life. Perhaps Central Illinois most popular pumpkin patch and fall destination. A massive spread and a variety of things to do. Plan to spend several hours here. Can get very, very busy. Food was excellent (surprisingly) and not overpriced. Staff was friendly and kept the place very clean. The admission price for the park does seem a tad steep. $15 for each person can add up to quite a lot when taking a family. read more

Poor customer service. Got here at 9AM since that's when it said the farm was open when you did a Google search. Of course we get here and they apologize that they're not open till 10AM. I obviously wasn't the only person who was confused because there were other families there with the same lady telling everyone else that they're not open yet. When looking up open hours who actually goes to the facility website to find the open hours for certain dates? Barely no one. Sure I might be complaining for no really reason but still. I have 2 children under 3 years old. I was not about to wait an hour to go in while they either waited in the car crying or wait outside in the parking lot so we had to leave and come back again. When we got back I asked someone at the main admission booth if we could get some kind of discount for the inconvenience but the lady just apologized quickly while walking way from me and didn't respond. This is the thing that upset me the most. Waited till the booth opened and asked someone else again for some sort of discount but still nothing. Only reason why I paid to come in is cuz of the kids. Otherwise I would've left right away and they would not have gotten my business. Very dissatisfied. Below is the Google screenshot of the open hours that was incorrect. And just to be clear I'm only giving 1 star due to the customer service of this one incident. Seems harsh but there are plenty of places that go above and beyond for their customers to earn their business. My 1 star review is not based on anything else. Lots of activities for the kids. They ask about it in the off season. Kinda expensive but worth it when the kids come home and are worn out!

The new layout is much nicer this year. They've added someone's new things for the kids to play on, like tire horse swings and a see-saw. They've also updated the kids corn maze to include a "who dun it" clues finding game. This kept my 5 & 2 year old excited while navigating the maze. read more

Two weeks away from Halloween and I went to the farm with my sons' family with two grandkids on a Sunday. Experienced a difficult time finding a parking place. If you see cars parked along the side of the road in front of the farm, go home and come back another time. I drove around a few times-up and down the aisles for 20 minutes looking until I found one. Bring your bank account and don't forget to eat before you go. Entry fee for 2 years old and above cost $12. If you're a senior ask for a discount. A lot of activities for the young folks but not many for adults in the late fifties. I stood in the concession line to purchase a hot dog and French fries. This is where your wallet comes in. Line was long and waited a good 25 minutes. Ordered my hot dog and fries- I thought I was at a major league ballpark. Cost-$7. Really!!! If I go back again, I make sure that I'm not hungry and a day when all kids are back in school. read more

It's nice, but the price is outrageous. Try to avoid going on weekends. It's very crowded and people will steal your place in line etc. However it has enjoyable activities for kids but lines are long and don't be shocked if big older kids run rampant and try to knock your toddlers over.
