It looked fine, a bit sloppy but who am I to judge? Paid the $35 with tip and split. After getting home and showing friends who have had henna decorated on their hands/ firearms before they were quick to explain that Kelly did a mad rush job and used very poor lining of the henna making it difficult for the design to stain my hand. You were bamboozeled, my cohorts explained. I will not be back.

I was super nervous since it's permanent but I trusted her work and skill and I'm so glad I did. I got nano combination brows, meaning a natural look, hair like strokes in the front and gentle shading at the tail, all using a handheld tattoo machine. My skin is super oily so microblading would not have worked, it would have looked smeared and not lasted nearly as long. I wanted them full but not obvious. I have very little natural brow hair so I was so scared of how it would end up looking. She did a fantastic job! It did hurt at the beginning but after the numbing solution started working it was a breeze. You get the brows done, then have a touch up in 4-8 weeks to fill in anything that didn't heal perfectly. You have to follow their instruction sheet to get the results you want, but it's super easy. The salon, Nady B's was bright and beautiful, but a bit crowded together and loud. I do wish there were private rooms or partitions, so you weren't getting serviced in the middle of a busy room, especially since the service is $350+, which includes a touch up. I would recommend anyone get their brows( or amazing henna, she is truly an artist!) done by Noor. She was wonderful and I am very, very happy with these awesome brows that look so perfect.

Unfortunately, I've had unpleasant experiences with some of the other staff in the past. A few were quite rough during the service and didn't handle my eyebrows with care. One staff member, in particular, was often visibly irritated and came across as rude, which made me uncomfortable. Because of that, I actually stopped going for over a year. I happened to return last month when my regular stylist was out of town, and I was happy to see Rani. She made the experience smooth and pleasant again. I truly wish the overall customer service here was more consistent, it would make a big difference.

Several years ago I attended an arts event here during a summer festival. Recently, I attended a Halloween candle-making event. It was a decent deal that included Halloween mocktails, charcuterie, a screening of Hocus Pocus, and black candle-making using fall scents. I will be checking for more arts and crafts events like this one at Village Arts Factory.
