Unfortunately, my experience after that left a very bad impression. This review is specifically regarding their no-show policy. While a business has every right to run operations as they see fit, I find this policy excessive and counterproductive to customer retention. I accidentally forgot my second appointment--yes, it happens. I was then charged the full amount of the service ($45). What added to the frustration was that I called 45 minutes after my scheduled time asking if I could still come in. I was told they were already booked, whether that was true or not, I can't say. When I asked to reschedule for the following week, it was never made clear that the $45 I had just been charged would not apply to the next appointment. I had to directly ask multiple times whether that payment would be credited, and only then was I told it was a loss due to the fine print of their no-show policy. So to be clear: the first time you miss an appointment, you are charged 100% of the service with no flexibility. They only send email reminders--no text messages or phone reminders. Every other beauty service I use (nails, hair, lashes) sends text reminders, so it's hard to believe that isn't an option. This feels intentional, knowing many people don't constantly check email. What left the worst taste was the lack of understanding or willingness to make an exception for a first-time mistake, especially when I was only 45 minutes late and had been a paying customer. Policies like this don't just penalize clients--they push them away. Unfortunately, this experience ensures I won't be returning.

This visit was for the keratin lash lift and darkening, and the brow bundle which included lamination, darkening, and waxing. During the lash lift, she put a very hot mask and headband over my eyes and nose. I expressed after a minute that it was very hot on my nose, she suggested pulling my mask down as the metal part on the mask might be making it worse. I pulled it down and she asked if it was better, I said a little bit but it was still hot. She said the mask needs to stay hot and to let her know if it cools down so she can turn the temp up. I now have a blister on my nose and painful redness over my nose and under eyes. During the brow lamination, everything seemed to be going fine. The lamination process burned quite a bit. My brow area was a bit tender after, and she still continued to try and wax it. She waxed the same area over and over, then said "I just gave you a cleanup wax since it can be hard to wax after this much processing, you can come back in a few days for more if you want." Why would she even include waxing in this bundle if she shouldn't be waxing after processing the brows?! I left with my brows looking terrible, there was lots of product still in them. I truly don't know if it was henna or product from the laminating process, but it was very difficult to get out and I lost a lot of brow hair in the process. I would never return to receive any other treatment from her.
