Only then did we learn the product contains synthetic TOXIC dye/blue coloring and other ingredients that don't align with "organic/non-toxic" marketing that is ALL over their blogs and website - after it had already been smeared all over her face. Skin is the largest organ in the body, and with her sensitivity this is not a small issue. This was also for my wife's birthday, and instead of feeling cared for, she left feeling misled and completely violated. Our trust is broken. She brought her own products to use but they ensured that they could be trusted...... I emailed management and never received a response...3 weeks later, still nothing.

The set up is there's a row of chairs almost like a barbershop and you lean back and get a facial. It can be so fun. As you arrive they offer a cool glass of still or sparkling water. As you get comfy your provider begins by cleaning your face of make up, confirm and customize a regimen for your needs, and can add a few upgrades such as scalp massage or other services during that hour. My first two facials were amazing. I'm understanding their rhythm. Since I don't go that often, I don't have a facialist that I remembered to request. My BFF made appointments for us a week in advance. This last visit was not for me. The person provided the roughest facial I've ever experienced, massaging my face with her knuckles into my upper jaw. She did ask if it was too much pressure and adjusted to a less intense pressure, but I didn't book a face massage. All I was thinking was, how is this a facial a spa like experience. She started with explaining the first step or two then just was on auto pilot, and stopped narrating what she was about to do. My friend who booked a person she was familiar with, said she loved it so much and was asleep for a great deal of the experience. Part of the experience is getting an ice cold metal tool rubbed on your face maybe to close your pores. On this occasion without warning I had icy rods on my face and it was shocking. It made me jump/wince because I wasn't expecting it. I realized my back tensed up and it was so cold it was slightly painful. After leaving I had glowing skin, but my neck has hurting from the tension of the shock of the rough facial massage and the icy tool on my face. Again, I have been twice before and had a spa like, positive experience. Previous visits I was chattering during the whole hour. This time around something just wasn't working for me.
