Despite being informed of the facility's supervision policies, my daughter sustained a serious injury, breaking two bones in her arm. At the time of the incident, multiple staff members were standing approximately two feet away, engaged in conversation, and failed to notice the injury. I reached my daughter before any staff member responded or intervened. This lack of awareness and response is deeply concerning. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this facility to ANY parents, especially those who expect active, attentive supervision of their children.

Don't waste your money! Started my special-ed 8 year old daughter in beginner tumble class. The…read morebeginner class trained for months leading up to the "Showcase" performance only to be left with a HUGE disappointment. 95% of the children in the showcase were age 5-9 and 5% were 15-18 years old. My daughter was the only beginner placed with the top level experienced teenage performers because the title of the class was "Tumble" and the teenagers were "Tumble 90." Accuracy is accepting that she trained in beginner group and was placed in advance group for the performance. Talk about being made to feel demoralized by all the work she put in. She did do great as a beginner, that is not the point. Your website describes this advanced class well, as attached photo. She enjoyed watching the performers throughout the night but "great time" is fabrication and words that did not come out of my mouth. Hence this review. When we got home she asked why she was with the big kids whom had special dances and none of the kids that were in her class? She was made to feel shame even though she could not express through words how she was made to feel a way on performance day. I pulled management aside immediately after because it was a hugely obvious the disparity why they couldn't figure out a way to put her with all the other beginners, this is where she trained. Why don't we put 8 year olds in a high school basketballl game? Having to explain this situation and advocating for my child, followed with a response, that as a parent I am projecting on a manner of simple right vs. wrong, is a complete joke. Also, tickets for the family to attend needed to be purchased in advance, which we did. Tickets were not collected at the door and many families were let in the door without a ticket as speaking to and witnessing them walk through the door. My child slipped through the cracks when teachers made assignments for this performance day. Every beginner was with beginner groups. I am the ONLY complaint because my daughter was the ONLY beginner with the advance group. When addressed with the owner, unremorsefully replied "she grew up as a gymnast whom performed with older girls." Completely missed the point of SKILL LEVEL on a showcase day. I will never let my daughter to feel this way and take my $1500/year tuition elsewhere. I post this so future parents can be aware of the many hours spent of beginner practice prior to the showcase, to then have them thrown in a random slot for performance day. Please save your money and go to a gym whom can structure their teaching and classes to meet your child's needs for performance day!

I was looking for a location where my son can take some tumbling classes. I saw a couple of places…read morearound town and looked at what they had to offer. This location offered a trial class and decided to take my son in. I received an email confirmation a couple of days before. We showed up about 20 minutes early just to ensure we didn't arrive late. They had several classes going at the same time but they all had their separate space. We had a chance to see the tumbling classes and they had older girls doing gymnastics as well. My son was doing the Junior Warrior Fitness and he had lots of fun. The class was fairly small so they each had enough individual time. The classes run 9 weeks but if you take your child in between session they'll prorate the fee. The instructors also do private sessions if your child needs more assistance.

My littles went here for a few months, so I can give a pretty fair review. This place just has a…read morewhole lot of room for improvement, unfortunately. Lots of nickel and diming going on. For example the spring break camp was about 350$ per kid for 5 days about 5 hours each day. It was supposed to be a science and gymnastics camp and they did some really cheap paper experiments, and not a lot of gymnastics practice, truly didn't love that. Also, for most camps the shirt is included but they asked for an extra 30$ for the shirts. As far as the actual weekly classes go, there are consistently way too many kids/teacher ratio. Truly the room is filled with soo many kids and the teachers are quite frankly CLEARLY exhausted. Also due to the amount of kids per station, your kid will have to wait before they get their chance at each station 80% of the time. In my opinion after spending 1 spring break camp and a few months w/ kiddos in weekly classes, you could find better. It feels money hungry and AZ Dynamics Gymnastics could benefit from smaller class sizes and minimum 2/3 teachers per class.

She has issues with them because the coaches here are terrible. They do not "coach" or give advice. They don't teach technique. The just babysit. For $150/mo, one would assume the coaching would be at a much higher level. I've even paid for the extra training on Saturdays with no help. Before bringing your child here, you should know that the shady management team charges tuition at the beginning of the month, requires you give them 30 days' notice to cancel, AND makes you fill out a sheet and send it back to them before they'll stop charging your card. This is just a dirty tactic for them to grab a few hundred bucks extra from you when you decide to cancel. Lastly, be aware that management closes the business during all holidays as well as certain breaks and other times throughout the year and yet they still charge the $150. They're already charging more than most places, and they reserve the right to skip many sessions throughout the year without discounting the price. This is the worst gym, please consider taking your child elsewhere.

My oldest child has been attending Playformance since preschool, with birthday parties…read moreand so many different programs, and now as a teen she still loves it just as much, possibly even more, than she did back then. The coaches create such a positive environment, not just in terms of being supportive and the act of teaching, but I would argue their even more important work is being positive role models for empathy, frustration tolerance, and working through hard things. They teach kids how to work with people who might believe differently than they do, or who might just rub them the wrong way, and they've built a truly inclusive environment with programs for all ages and abilities. Kids learn to face their fears in a supported way, how to scaffold experiences when they feel nervous, and how to build toward their goals instead of avoiding them. We have not met a coach at Playformance who wasn't amazing. It isn't just one kid, though. My other children love it too. They still offer caregiver and child classes, and when we were able to attend, they were so engaging for both the toddler and the parent, creating a supportive place where parents could find community too. Camps are huge fun, and every birthday party we have attended has been wonderful, regardless of the age range. If you're thinking about joining this community, because that's really what it is, I highly recommend you jump in. You won't regret it.
