As a mother of three, child safety and proper supervision are non-negotiable for me. My experience at Old Pueblo Gym was unacceptable. Despite being informed of the facility's supervision policies, my daughter sustained a serious injury, breaking two bones in her arm. At the time of the incident, multiple staff members were standing approximately two feet away, engaged in conversation, and failed to notice the injury. I reached my daughter before any staff member responded or intervened. This lack of awareness and response is deeply concerning. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this facility to ANY parents, especially those who expect active, attentive supervision of their children. read more

Old pueblo is awesome all the coaches and the owners show they really care about your kid and their progression. They all make you feel very welcomed. I have 5 kids who attend all different ages. All of them love it.​ with all the activities, classes, privates, equipment, team , birthday bashes and so much more there is so much to do. Highly recommend. We absolutely love this gym! We've been coming here for 3+ years now. The coaches and staff are all fantastic and the gym is immaculately clean and sanitized regularly. The owners have done a wonderful job communicating clearly throughout the COVID crisis and they've gone to great lengths to ensure the health and safety of all the kids and staff, which is why we feel comfortable continuing to bring our child here every day. Great place for the kids to go and be with well trained and super friendly coaches. My son goes for fun and moving his bootay! Many serious gymnastic classes are performing along side his class. Busy, fills up quickly but well worth planning for upcoming sessions. This place is amazing!! The instructors, front desk staff and facility is top notch! They also throw great birthday parties! My children have been coming to OPGA since we moved here 3 years ago. Their skills have developed as well as their confidence. The owner, Randy, cares about each and every student. He addressed what is currently going on in Olympic gymnastics head on in an email to all the parents and I appreciate the safety procedures they have in place to keep everyone safe. My son has taken classes here on and off for the past several years. We have found all of the instructors to be very nice and good with kids. The gym is large and there is a nice variety of things to do. My son was most recently in the Tumbling and Trampoline class and though he has displayed no special tumbling talents as to lead us to believe we will be cheering him on from the stands someday in this sport at some future Olympics, his instructor Doug worked patiently and enthusiastically with him week after week as though he had a chance ;-). The most important thing is that he always had a good time and got a nice amount of exercise out of the heat. A couple of other highlights are the gym's summer camps, which my son enjoys. He's usually a smiling, sweaty mess when I pick him up, which is great. It's too hot during the summer to get that kind of exercise outside. Also, the gym has drop in times, where you can just go in and go to town inside the gym with unstructured play. They also have something called "Parent's Night Out" which is on Saturday now I believe. You can drop your kids off for three hours and they feed them dinner and entertain them for you. When I have taken my son to these in the past and get there five minutes early to pick him up, he begs to stay the last five minutes. My only complaint would be that the lobby is sometimes overly-full, but I think they've done some recent construction to remedy this. If you have kids, it's a must try, they'll love it! read more

My son has been going here for 6+ months in the Hoppin Horsies program and loves it. He always looks forward to going and gets a very exhausting workout. Old Pueblo's gym is kept in immaculate shape and there is free wifi which is nice for parents watching. I hightly reccomend it!. read more

This is by far one of the best gymnastics programs in Tucson! The instructors all really care about the kids and their families. We have had to make schedule adjustments a few times since starting due to changing work schedules and though they don't have to they have gone out of their way every time to accommodate us. I love that even for the little ones (3 year old class) they change the skills every week to keep them interested, motivated, & always learning new skills. Love this place!! read more

I've been taking my daughter here for about a year now. Mrs. Kristen is our teacher and she is absolutely wonderful with the kids. I would highly recommend using Old Pueblo gymnastics if you're trying to help your children develop their physical abilities. Old Pueblo is the cleanest and most professional gym in Tucson. They offer programs from 18 months to adulthood. The classes for under 5 give kids an enormous advantage as they gain control of their bodies and learn how to move around. It's amazing watching their confidence build and their coordination become increasingly fine tuned. You can't find a better gym! read more

I had refrained from writing this negative review in hopes that the owners would realize their mistakes and make right by them. After all none of us are perfect but I have given SEVERAL (more than a handful) of opportunities for them to make right by their word and still have not received what was promised almost a month ago. My daughter enjoyed her time with Monsoon Cheer and Coach Steven but ultimately the business side unfortunately holds back the growth of the program which then held my daughters personal growth back so we decided to move gyms. After being asked to provide feedback which I did privately and making it clear that I don't know what happens behind closed doors that the feedback was just from my perspective I received a very belittling and what I felt was down right rude response from Randy. My concerns were both in the resources being received as well as safety, which I had expected some clarification which would have eased my concerns but instead I was basically told I know nothing. I took the high road and decided other than my refund no need to reply and battle it out what works for us is not what is right for all and that's perfectly fine. But ultimately the facts are the facts and the promise of refund has been quite a challenge to say the least when it's really not that hard at all. That being said I hope that no one else has the experience what we did I'm just glad to not have to deal with this going forward. We will never be back because of the way they treat their customers whereas when we originally left there was always a possibility that in the future we would be back even if it was just for private's all depending on what options they had available for our children. read more

I went for a private class one day while I was at my grandmas. I had a fear of back walkovers on beam and now the fears gone! They had a different spotting techniques and that helped A LOT! :) I will definitely go back If I need anymore help. It's a great gym and I recommend it read more
