We had a need for the project to be completed in a very short window (less than 6 weeks) from the day of the quote. The owner said they could make it happen. Other places we contacted couldn't even start within 6 weeks, let along finish. The work crew was amazing and efficient. Overall our experience was without hassle and done 2 weeks ahead of time of our deadline. I highly recommend.

Instead asked some questions and ran with part of my answer and just gave us a quote for that project instead of the one we described. He wanted to do a bigger project, so asked questions to that end because apparently fixing my small deck wasn't worth it for them. I don't know if his pricing was fair because the other company came out and actually listened to what we wanted and then gave us an estimate for exactly what we wanted. I asked if the wood on our deck could be saved. Immediate no (even though he said current store wood is worse quality than when this deck was built as a means to emphasize the benefits of composite at an earlier point in the convo). Made me feel guilty for being honest that we would be getting a couple of bids to compare. I was being honest to say that we were trying to do due diligence. His attitude changed and he emphasized at multiple points after that the free work he was doing by giving me an estimate. Their business model is to come into your home and provide pictures and product samples and then write up the quote then and there. I just wanted a guy to come out, look, and email me the quote. Instead it was a lengthy process . Seemed like an old-style sales approach. Also, they wanted both owners to be home and he seemed annoyed that it was just me...but we literally just wanted a quote, so no my spouse was not going to take off work for an estimate. Overall just weird energy and a strange experience! And I've had plenty of bids/estimates for projects around the house including, house painting, fence installation, deck repair, etc. Tl;dr - didn't listen to what we wanted. Up-sold. Appointment took forever. Not a good vibe.

Spend your hard earned money on a better staff that communicates and schedules at a professional level. TLDR: Because of scheduling negligence and poor communication, my project for a deck and patio cover was 3 times delayed and downgraded to just a deck because of administrative issues. Ultimately it was completed almost 3 months after the initial estimate. Our 12x20 deck ended up being $28,000. I put the initial deposit down in mid April for a deck (12x20) and screened in patio cover attaching to my house. It was an expensive project (~$41,000) that we were excited to have done. They estimated completion of the entire project by mid June. After the deposit we heard nothing from them until late May for a quick measurement on our property to verify the drawings. We expected the construction timeline to be very similar to the initial estimate. We heard nothing for weeks. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I reached out at the end of the month for an update. My PM stated they were a few weeks behind-- frustrating that the information wasn't shared, but understandable given the rainy spring. Fast forward a few weeks and yet again I was given the run around. I had many unanswered texts and phone calls. It was the end of July when I finally heard back from them. Turns out the project manager assigned to me dropped the ball. The permits for the initial deck and patio cover were approved, but allowed to expire. On resubmission it was found to be a violation of city ordinance so the patio cover had to be removed from the project. The 3rd round of permitting finally got approved. At this point I was very frustrated with the 1.5 month delay and ready to cancel. They whipped up a new contract quickly and I returned it quickly. Somehow things were still delayed. Finally they began on August 27th. The crew was FANTASTIC. They worked incredibly hard and had it up in 3 work days. I cannot praise them enough, their product was great. They are the only reason this experience was 2 stars instead of 1. At the end of the project I aired my grievances and was told they could not offer any discount despite the issues. I didn't even get an apology until I asked for some sort of reparation. Ultimately there are too many other decking companies that would be easier to work with that I would not recommend working with this one.

I lost time I could have been doing something else and will never get that time back. So I called and no one answered the phone so I left a message and about three hours later someone called and said they were sorry they missed the appointment and I said no one called and let me know they would not come. No calls, no text and totally forgot about me. If I did not leave a message or call, they would have never called me back. If one customer doesn't matter then none do. So do not do business with them. And I told them I would find someone else. If I did not show up to work with a no call no show, I would be fired. And I am sorry would not work. Do not recommend because if they cannot do the most simple thing right, just show up, then I can't trust them.

Their industrial mower kicked a rock from the yard into my basement window and shattered it. We noticed after they mowed that the window was damaged. I asked my neighbor to contact them, but never heard a thing and had to contact them myself. They are claiming they did not do the damage, but industrial mowers can fling a rock up to 200 mph. The damage is unmistakably caused by a rock flung into the window at high speeds. We cut our own yard and do not use a service, they are the only company bringing something at high speed through the area. They are stating they spoke to the crew and the crew claims they did not do it. Once again, the window is under the home, no one can hear anything on those huge mowers and there is no other explanation for the cause of the damage. It was noticed after they mowed. I find that this is a lack of integrity. As a business owner myself, the fact that they are not assuming responsibility for something that can not be explained by anything else shows to me a lack of integrity. I absolutely wouldn't want a business caring for my property if they can't care for the property of others, especially the homes nearby. As a homeowner myself I don't want to be responsible for a business that operates carelessly and doesn't own up to their mistakes. I wouldn't want to be partially responsible for damage done to my neighbor's home for a business I hire. Mistakes happen, but not taking care for them is what shows who you are as a business.

The fence did take 2 partial days due to weather interfering (it's a small yard), but they came back on Saturday to finish rather than waiting until the next week, which I wouldn't have expected. They confirm the exact date of installation a couple days in advance. The fence is still very new, but it looks good. I'll update if needed. The part that really prompted me to write this is they had put up a dented gate, which I didn't realize was temporary. I noticed but decided not to be difficult and complain. They called a week and a half later and said they saw it was dented and the new gate was ready (had to be made custom) and would be installed the next day. I am impressed they actually cared enough to provide a new one one, unprompted, and installed the initial gate so that my dog could roam freely in the meantime. It seems they actually care about doing a good job.
