I feel that I am in very good hands and the communication is there. They usually don't let me leave until they have reviewed my mammogram so that I could feel peace of mind. They also send a written report to me and my doctor on a timely basis. I find that the equipment is totally up-to-date and I can depend on its accuracy.

My doctor nor their office is going to go through opening an email and using a password. This is a very busy oncology office. So, I had to drive over to the facility to ask for a disk and then drive the disk to my doctor. I received several text asking where to send the images. I responded several times and they kept saying that it wasn't right. So I took a picture of the script and of the doctor's phone and fax number. I did not get a response and the image was never sent. This is unacceptable.

While she was attempting to insert the IV, I experienced an immediate and severe nerve pain--a shock-like sensation radiating to my middle finger. Free parking is a big plus in White Plains. The medical office is well-appointed and the receptionists/medical assistants were very friendly and helpful. Allow time for filling forms, and possibly changing into scrubs. This was my first time sitting upright in an open MRI. What a marvelous improvement from my previous MRI (in a different facility) laying on my back for a closed MRI. With earplugs the MRI noise was moderate and easy to bear. And, I was quite comfortable sitting through the 30 minute process watching a home improvement show on the wall-mounted HDTV. My actual score for this facility is 4.5 stars. I took off just a half star for the MRI tech who, although professional, efficient, and informative during the process, had a stern demeanor. I probably should cut him some slack. He might've been facing a brutal schedule that day.

Yes, it can be difficult to call the Main Street Radiology general line to book appointments. Be patient and just keep trying to call back to schedule appointment. Sometimes it can be frustrating with all the volume of calls that they receive. The staff that takes the PET Scans here are excellent. They take the time to explain the whole process as well as after the procedure. You are definitely in good hands when you come here. Great quality of care here. They will try to accommodate you should any issues arise with appointments. This is a very busy practice for they do so many various diagnostic and specialty tests. Staff here will assist if you need translation when filling out form and they will ask if you need assistance.

I accidentally mixed up my appointment date and thought it was today instead of tomorrow. Because of that mistake, I got up at 5:00 a.m. and rushed to the office, After arrived, I was told my appointment was tomorrow . But I am hoping they might allow me to wait in case there was an opening. Instead, I was immediately turned away without any consideration of the person of the greeting person of first floor. I had been waiting two months for this appointment. I understand that I made a mistake, but I don't understand why there was absolutely no flexibility or compassion. Many patients have to work and carefully arrange their schedules. Allowing me to wait would have been a simple act of kindness, especially so early in the morning when the office didn't appear to be busy. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've been a patient at this practice for over twenty years. I expected to be treated with a little more understanding and respect after being a loyal patient for so long. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of this office. I will be looking for a new healthcare provider.
