While she was attempting to insert the IV, I experienced an immediate and severe nerve pain--a shock-like sensation radiating to my middle finger. This pain has persisted since that moment, accompanied by tingling and discomfort. The nurse remarked that she had never encountered such a reaction before. Free parking is a big plus in White Plains. The medical office is well-appointed and the receptionists/medical assistants were very friendly and helpful. Allow time for filling forms, and possibly changing into scrubs. This was my first time sitting upright in an open MRI. What a marvelous improvement from my previous MRI (in a different facility) laying on my back for a closed MRI. With earplugs the MRI noise was moderate and easy to bear. And, I was quite comfortable sitting through the 30 minute process watching a home improvement show on the wall-mounted HDTV. My actual score for this facility is 4.5 stars. I took off just a half star for the MRI tech who, although professional, efficient, and informative during the process, had a stern demeanor. I probably should cut him some slack. He might've been facing a brutal schedule that day.

I was very stressed over getting injected with contrast, and she got in touch with my doctor to confirm my procedure. She went above and beyond in the service she provided. I felt really taken care of. And I saw how she maintained the facility and refilled the gowns in the changing area. These medical places are not fun, but I felt Katrina made my experience better. I accidentally mixed up my appointment date and thought it was today instead of tomorrow. Because of that mistake, I got up at 5:00 a.m. and rushed to the office, After arrived, I was told my appointment was tomorrow . But I am hoping they might allow me to wait in case there was an opening. Instead, I was immediately turned away without any consideration of the person of the greeting person of first floor. I had been waiting two months for this appointment. I understand that I made a mistake, but I don't understand why there was absolutely no flexibility or compassion. Many patients have to work and carefully arrange their schedules. Allowing me to wait would have been a simple act of kindness, especially so early in the morning when the office didn't appear to be busy. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've been a patient at this practice for over twenty years. I expected to be treated with a little more understanding and respect after being a loyal patient for so long. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of this office. I will be looking for a new healthcare provider.
