I've been going to Quest since 2010, and I've ALWAYS preferred them over the other national lab…read morechain. Quest puts its clients first. You can do everything you need to online, such as scheduling an appointment or reviewing your completed tests to see the results. Check-in is incredibly easy. You go up to the kiosk, enter your phone number, and if your ID and health insurance card are not current, all you have to do is lay each in the tray as instructed, and the kiosk will gather your information, which gets you through to your appointment quickly. Even if you wake up in the morning and decide it would be a good day to get your lab tests done, you can go to their website and select an open appointment for that same day, and get through their system quickly once at their location. Yes, you can go there without an appointment, but you may find yourself waiting for a long time while the people who took the time to book an appointment get to be seen quickly. As a matter of fact, I would bet you could go to the facility and make an appointment online with your smartphone while you're in the waiting room and get seen faster than walking in without an appointment. The walk-in queue builds up fast on busy days, and those with appointments are always seen before walk-ins. I just went to Quest on 08-18-2025 after miscommunicating with an appointment set for a lab specialist to come to my home to draw blood from another company. It was a fasting blood test, and I'm hypoglycemic, so when I confirmed not being able to accommodate the home appointment, I went to the Quest website and found just the right appointment. It allowed me to keep on track with the fasting requirement, while not having to wait so long that my blood sugar might drop too low. I had a wonderful experience, quickly logging in for my appointment. I waited less than 5 minutes before I was called. The phlebotomist was very kind, working with my mobility issues (she had cute little cat faces on her whiteboard, which made me happy as I am loath to get my blood drawn). She listened to my suggestions based on getting my bloodwork done every year, so it would be an easy draw, and everything went very smoothly. I was able to get back into my car, where my snacks were before my blood sugar dropped too low. I love Quest's spacious waiting room as it is arranged around the perimeter of the waiting area, so there are no clumped-up spaces of clients waiting like the other major lab company. There are displays all over the waiting area that tell you where you are in line and how many other people are before you, and you can choose to say whether you will be waiting inside the building or outside when you sign in on the kiosk (for those who get uncomfortable in medical facilities). They can send someone out to help you if you can't follow instructions on a screen or if you get confused easily, but a better idea would be to ask a friend or family member to help through the process as you do get put into a queue for those needing help along with all the other people waiting there for their appointments. BTW, I got my blood results in less than 24 hours. Save yourself the hassle. Get your blood done at Quest.

This turned out to be the BEST experience I've had at Quest. It was empty, they called me 10 minutes BEFORE my scheduled time, the nurse was super sweet, and understood completely my fear. I was in and out in probably 4 minutes, and didnt even notice the blood draw for the first time ever. I'm really glad I still went even after I scared myself with these reviews. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was forced to go back for a second biopsy…read morebecause their tech didn't retrieve a good sample during the first. Of course they billed me for the second which I won't pay. I've been trying to clear this up for months. My biopsies were in Aug. and Oct. of 2024. It's March of 2026. After speaking with them today I was informed they changed billing companies between Aug. and Oct. of 2024 and seems like one is not talking to the other. She had no record of my copay and had to contact the old billing company. It now appears they owe me money. HOWEVER I just received a bill from them today. Do yourself a favor and steer clear!!!

But the billing office is terrible. Be careful. I don't know how you can protect yourself. Back in August, 2025, I had a test and owed $22.53, which I paid with my credit card. In about January, 2026, I got a call from the biling office requesting payment. I spent about 1/12 hours on a call with the excel biller plus my credit union plus visa. Visa said they would contact Excel later which Excel says Visa did not do. Later, I sent the transaction number to Excel but Excel said their back office could not find it. Excel called me again for the transaction number and I told her I was done with this. But I called my credit union and they researched it to come up with the same transaction number and said it was proof they had paid. There was more wasted time with my credit union. Today, april or 2026, I am mailing the letter the credit card company sent me to Excel along with the bill they sent me again. Here is my take on it. Excel has a problem with young, untrained and unknowlegeable staff who do not know how to check a simple problem. OR they may have a major theft problem. I have invested about five hours of my life trying to accomodate Excel. I am not their employee. Instead of hiring and training people to do the billing, when there is problem, they keep cqlling the customer to solve the problem for them.

I am writing to you as a patient who was just released on Wednesday, May 7 , 2025 from Bayonet…read moreHospital. I have not received a survey so I thought this would be a good place to start. I was admitted on Monday, May 5 for a heart ablation around 8am. with Dr. Dashan Patel, this was a 4-hour procedure that if anyone knows about heart ablations it's a pretty standard procedure. The procedure went find it was what happened after that kept me in the hospital until late Wednesday. Once I was brought to recovery I had blurred vision in my left eye. The doctor called for a neurologist to check me out. He suggested that I have an artery scan and also a brain MRI. Thank God all came back good. They thought possibly I had a stroke during the procedure. Once I was brought to my room this is where the patient care went downhill and fast. My right arm started swelling like a balloon to find out the nurse who had placed my intravenous had gone through the vein and I was having fluids going into my arm. This took a day of ice packs and warm packs to release these fluids. Also, my husband had to get a nurse to check it our. I was ringing the buzzer and no one was showing up. They had to place two stiches in my groin area in which the nurse said needed to be removed 2 hours after my procedure. I questioned why would you do this since I just had the surgery and the stiches are there to close the opening. So, I agreed then when I got up to walk 45 minutes later I started bleeding from the artery. That's when my husband ran and got a nurse. They said I needed to lay flat and put pressure against the incesion. I had to lay flat for the rest of the day. Blood was all over the floor and my bed and all they did is walked around the blood for hours before it was cleaned up. Also, on my bed was blood and they just threw a sheet on top and made me lay in a bed with blood. My external cathada was leaking in my bed. The nurses ignored me when I said I was lying in my own waste. I asked for ice water 3x's since my throat was so dry. After 4 hours a nurse came in and said "what?" like I was asking for something special. All I needed was water and ice. In speaking with one of the nurses who is a resident nurse at Bayonet that they pay these travelling nurses more money than the resident nurses which is sooooooo wrong. Something needs to be done in our medical system. Something needs to happen at Bayonet Hopital. I'm not saying all travelling nurses are bad, but I think if you're in a ward where you're having a procedure, they should have a little compassion and that was not the case. I was also told that Bayonet is a hospital where they care about their patient. It certainly wasn't proven by the care I received. I have spoken with many people who have had situations like myself and have never reported it. Something needs to happen. Please feel free to call me with further detail.

I asked a few times how long the wait would be. Had to wait outside prior to being called in to see the doctor due to the fragrance. I let them know why I had to wait outside so they were aware. They kept telling me I was next. I never was. My throat blew up, my nasal passages were swollen, and I developed a migraine. Not one person cared. They looked at me like I had three heads when I told them what was happening to me. Not an ounce of empathy or sense of urgency in the entire place. They didn't unplug the fragrance plug ins or do anything. Doctor's offices typically do not put fragrance in their offices because allergies to fragrance are so debilitating and common. Not sure what they are trying to cover up with how many they had. I counted four in a very small space. My throat was raw and sinuses were on fire. After waiting for hours I was told that I would have someone in to do bloodwork shortly. Which I'm not even sure why the doctor wanted blood work and imaging because he specifically told me that he didn't think that the issue was what he was even testing for. I'm sure he makes money off of testing just like other doctors. I really enjoyed all of the excuses the doctor made about the wait time. Did he want a "poor you" for being so busy? Isn't that your job? Suck it up. I've been suffering for 3 hours... so yea... I don't want to hear it. I came in sick and got even sicker no thanks to your office. Another 35 mins goes by. I am just suffering. By this time my head pain was making me dizzy from the chemical fragrance. I just left and nobody cared. Wasted hours and money for nothing. My primary care finally had a cancellation this evening so I will be going to see her. I only went to this hell hole because she couldn't see me until Wednesday. I will be posting about this place everywhere online. Absolutely ridiculous in every way. Received zero help from these people after a total of 3 hours in this place.

My son recently visited this clinic for an ear infection and was told he had blood behind his…read moreeardrum. He was miserable, couldn't hear out of one ear, and was prescribed medication. Unfortunately, that's where the problems began. The same evening, I went to pick up his prescription from the pharmacy, only to find that nothing had been sent over. By the time I realized there was an issue, the clinic was already closed. The next morning, I called the pharmacy again and confirmed they still had not received anything. I then contacted the clinic, hoping to get some answers. The first staff member I spoke with told me the pharmacy had rejected the prescription but couldn't explain why. She said she would send a note to someone who might be able to help. Confused, I called the pharmacy back, and they were extremely helpful. They informed me they had never received a prescription from the clinic in the first place. I called the clinic again and spoke with another employee. I was simply trying to understand what was going on and find out how my son could get the medication he needed. Instead of receiving clear answers, I was met with confusion and increasing rudeness. I asked whether another prescription could be sent or if I could pick up a paper copy myself. Rather than helping, the employee became condescending, told me "it doesn't work like that," and abruptly ended the call with a sarcastic "thank you, have a nice day." At this point, I was extremely frustrated. My child was still suffering, and going on 24 hours after his appointment, we still didn't have the medication we had been prescribed from the doctors office we had paid to be seen at. When I called back, the same employee answered and essentially told me to go to another doctor if I wanted to. I explained that I had already paid for the visit and was only asking questions because no one could explain why the prescription hadn't been sent. Eventually, I called again and requested to speak with a manager. After explaining the situation, the manager was finally able to resolve the issue and get the prescription sent to the pharmacy. Once the manager became involved, the problem was fixed. What is most disappointing is the behavior of the front desk staff. Patients and parents who are worried about their children should not be treated with disrespect, spoken to rudely, or hung up on when they are simply trying to get answers. After this experience, I looked at other reviews and noticed a recurring theme: complaints about rude and unprofessional office staff. Given how many people have raised the same concerns, it's surprising that nothing appears to have changed. We will not be returning to this clinic, and I would not recommend it to others. If you want your concerns taken seriously and expect to be treated with professionalism and respect, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. To Gulf Coast: Please care about the patients well being and get new office staff.
