I took a short break at a truck stop along the way near Sinton, TX before arriving at my destination. When I returned to my vehicle it would not start. Instinctively I assumed that the problem was the battery in the keyless remote. I asked a young passerby for assistance who drove me to a nearby O'Reilly store. I purchased a new remote battery and explained my circumstances to Mr. Jonathan Vera, Store Manager. After listening to my dilemma Mr. Vera was kind enough and grabbed a battery booster and returned me to the location of my vehicle. On the way there he informed me that he had experience with mechanics and suggested that the problem might be with the vehicle. Upon arrival he quickly proceeded to analyze the trouble and found that the negative ground battery cable was loose which he immediately tightened. The car started instantly. Although I missed my job interview I managed to contact the party I was scheduled to meet with and rescheduled for the following day. On this day Mr. Vera went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in my time of need. I have been a long time customer of O'Reilly Auto Parts and because of Mr. Vera I will continue to be a loyal and grateful customer. Thank you Jonathan Vera. I was a little, oblivious as to how I was supposed to do things, and she came in personally picked them out for me out of the little case which I should've been able to do myself, but didn't realize it. She was very nice and she explained to me some things about how it used to be her father's store until he passed away About four years ago.. I told her I didn't realize he had passed away, but that I had had some long discussions with him about drum symbols. That I thought he was a very nice and knowledgeable man and enjoyed our conversation very much and he educated me as far as drum symbols and other musical instruments were concerned. The owner gave me the guitar picks, and I tried to pay for them, told her that she didn't have to do that, but she insisted. I never have had anybody treat me so kindly in a business like that before. The other employees of the store, were very helpful, knowledgeable, and also educated me on guitars and various types of electric guitars. They had work to do, but they were also taking time out to answer my questions. I really appreciate that.! My time spent, at sound vibrations, was time well spent, conversing and learning from knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly people. They have a lot to offer, and a very good stock of quality products. It had been several years ago, since 2013, but I bought a drum set from them, and they were just as nice and knowledgeable as they were when I walked in there last Thursday. I contacted the store just 40 days after purchasing only to be told there was nothing they could do because it was under warranty. What's most frustrating is that GE doesn't seem to care about the inconvenience this causes. I've had to waste countless hours scheduling service appointments, waiting for technicians, and dealing with a broken appliance in the meantime. I've even responded to multiple customer service surveys that promise a follow-up, but no one has ever contacted me. It feels like GE just wants to check a box rather than actually address their customers' concerns. For a brand of GE's reputation, I expected better. Instead, I've been stuck with a poorly made dryer and a customer service experience that shows zero concern for the time, effort, and frustration their customers go through. I would strongly advise against buying this dryer--or any GE appliance--unless you're ready for an endless cycle of breakdowns, delays, and empty promises.

I really wanted to love this place, but my first experience here today was not good…read more They have a really great selection of frames, definitely ones that fit my budget, and they can get what I thought would be a decent pair of glasses done in about two hours. I went in and picked out my frames and gave them my prescription from my previous eye doctor and was told my glasses would be ready in about two hours. I came back this afternoon and upon trying them on, found that I couldn't see a thing, either close up or distance... So Mr. pro took a look at my prescription, and compared it to what the lady wrote up earlier this afternoon and found that instead of putting down a plus for each of my lenses she put down a negative strength... No wonder I couldn't see a thing. And yes, everybody makes mistakes, but she didn't doublecheck what she wrote down in comparison to the copy of my prescription that she had with my order, and the individuals back in their lab that created my glasses did not verify the documents as well, putting me in the situation where I have to get my disabled husband out of the house into the car and back to the store to pick them up tomorrow. Big inconvenience over something that really should've been verified by them before doing the work. Also, they offer no military discount, and did not offer me a discount for my trouble.
