Casey was working, thank goodness! After trying herself to activate them she had to call for help. She was transferred multiple times (they told her I didn't have the phones yet, though they were in front of her!) but never gave up. Casey stayed 2 1/2 hours after the store was supposed to close to get my new phones (4) activate and working. NO ONE ever gives this kind of customer service! Casey went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND helping me. Unfortunately I have had more issues since with billing and AGAIN Casey has helped ABOVE and BEYOND!! My experience with Verizon has not been the best with phone activation and billing, but Casey has been my rock through it. If it hadn't been for her, I probably would have said adios. The phone has been dead and not used since June 5. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don't blame the local store as much as I do corporate headquarters.. they make it impossible to cancel service even though we had all of the valid information, including a death certificate. I went to Genius Phone Repair today to see about having the charging port repaired on my…read moresmartphone. The gentleman at the store told me that they could repair it, but that there was no need since it was capable of wireless charging. I had completely forgotten that it was an option for the model of phone I had. He put it on a wireless charger and confirmed that it would charge and power up. I appreciated his honesty so much that I offered to buy a wireless charger there and this time he told me that he didn't have the charger model that worked best with my phone and recommended that I buy it at Best Buy. I sincerely appreciate that he didn't make me pay for an unnecessary repair or sell me the wrong charger.
