The Radisson Hotel has been extremely accommodating to our group that includes over 100 cars. The employees are friendly and helpful and the facilities are impeccably clean. Just a couple of annoying items..... in the morning there is a very noticeable lack of hot water and the channels that are listed as available on the DIrectv Guide are not available. It's annoying to enter the number for a channel and get something entirely different. (Enter #23 for Lifetime and instead get the Hallmark Channel as just one example.) Other than those minor annoyances, I would recommend staying at this Radisson. read more

I stayed at this hotel last night. I was awakened early in the morning with construction and remodeling in the room next-door across the hall and three other rooms on my floor directly by my room. I paid $180 a night to stay there and I feel that it's completely unfair for this Hotel to be renovating rooms right next-door to the rooms they are renting out so early in the morning. I traveled from the West Coast and had a concert to sing that evening. I got no sleep because of their renovations. I do not recommend this hotel at all. Stay somewhere else. read more

Received my deposits back instantly on my card. I'd def stay here again seeing i come here two times a year. My only recommendation is, they don't offer free breakfast because they have a restaurant but I'd have gone to eat if they'd offer free drink coupons or something. The staff at the hotel and conference areas - fantastic! Too notch! Great communication, super helpful with planning and execution. The new remodels (which I'm sure corporate got bids and used non-local contractors for- I'm not blaming the current staff at all) horrible! I've never been to a hotel that has worse mattresses! It's like they remodeled the rooms and put the same shitty mattresses back in. The beds sag in the middle (everyone in our group complained about this) also, the HVAC system howls and whistles loudly all night as well. Visited for 3 days with handicapped husband and our son and DIL. The location is wonderful, close to everything. The restaurant is great and our rooms had wonderful views. However the handicapped rooms are awful. First of all, our handicapped room was identical to the regular room my son had. Grab bars over toilet and in tub, rendering them completely useless to my husband. We were told they meet minimum ADA standards. Seems to me usable grab bars are minimum. My son had to help me dress him and aide in use of commode several times. So, while we loved our visit this experience overshadowed it. read more

Great location! Within walking distance of all downtown restaurants and bars. It's also located right next to the convention center. Beautiful park with riverside bike and walking trails is right behind the hotel. Plenty of things to do and see if you want to get out and about. One side of the building has amazing views of the river and park below (great sunset). Other side looks at a parking lot... my recommendation is to ask for a river view room at check in. I asked for one when I booked my room (in the "other requests" section). Apparently this is not looked at by the staff. Yes.... I could have checked to make sure at check in, but I just assumed they had granted my request. And then I was just to lazy to go back down and start over with the front desk. Otherwise, pretty nice hotel. There is some hallway noise, and the bathrooms are on the smaller side, but the bed was big and comfortable. Everything was clean and I felt safe. Recommend! read more

We stayed at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse for a group event in July of 2023 for four nights. Our experience was absolutely wonderful and the hotel staff made our event a complete success. The location is great, within easy walking distance of many downtown restaurants and attractions, and it has a wonderful view of the waterfront park and river. The in-house restaurant, Three Rivers Restaurant and Bar, is stylishly designed, has a lovely river view, and the bar is full service with a very graceful yet comfortable feel. Our contact with the hotel for our group, Krista, was incredible! She went out of her way to send us information about local attractions and scenic routes which she thought might interest our car group. When we received our breakfast vouchers for the restaurant at check-in, we noticed she even imported the logo for our organization, Overdrive Adventures, and used that graphic on the top of the voucher! We were totally blown away at the attention to detail, and they even included our event logo on their digital display welcome/information boards. I can not stress enough how we felt that they genuinely wanted us to be comfortable and welcomed. When we needed space to informally gather our group, they helped us find space that worked. When we told them we were a car group, Krista made sure a car wash station was set up for us. They even designated a section of the parking area specifically for us. For car people, these little extras mean so very much. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone, but especially for car clubs and groups. You can't go wrong here! As far as our room goes, we had a city view room on the fifth floor which we loved because it let us see our cars. The king size bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. Everything about the room was well layed out and clean. Plenty of towels, plenty of space, plenty of light, and the air conditioning worked well without being noisy (and it was particularly hot the week we were in town, so good AC was a big deal). If I had to complain about anything (and I'm having to work to find anything to gripe about!) it was that the mini-fridge was not super cold and not designed to keep anything other than bottles or cans in. Frankly, it's not that big of a deal. In the overall picture, it's hardly worth even mentioning. I would definitely return whether it was for a group event or just for a nice vacation. Very clean and hospitable place. Quiet! Many restaurants you can walk to. They have a happy hour with reduced prices.

The best part about our stay during COVID is that the Radisson has stringent cleaning protocols keeping everyone safe during their stay. We were pleasantly surprised the pool just opened up with appointments only. So we had the entire pool and hot tub for our family only. All you have to do is make a reservation after you check in. We loved it. The hotel is conveniently located on the Mississippi River next to the beautiful Riverside Park. Take a stroll along the River is so fun and worthwhile. read more

My partner and I stayed at the Radisson for the weekend for a family wedding. It was a lovely hotel with well kept public areas. The vending machines had a few of the odds and ends we needed and that was incredibly convenient so we did not have to head out to a Walgreens in the middle of the night. And happily, all staff members were wearing covid masks. And speaking of staff members, everyone was very friendly to us and we would classify this hotel as LGBTQ-friendly. Unfortunately, some of the problems were difficult to ignore. There were MAJOR stains on the comforter that were so obvious there is no way the cleaning staff could have missed them (see photo 1 and 2). The sheets and towels all had noticeable yellow stains on each of them (see photo 3). All other aspects of the room appeared to be clean. The mattress felt old and lumpy, the sleep was not great for me or my partner. I understand that COVID is making business difficult in hospitality and these issues may be a result of that. I would be happy to give the Radisson another try the next time I'm in La Crosse, with the hope that some of the cleanliness issues can be improved. read more

I'm staying here for two nights. First night is reasonably priced; second night is almost double that room rate. It's La Crosse. I was initially put in a room with a connecting door. Unfortunately the door has no sound insulation. Even though the party next door was talking quite normally, it was like being in an echo chamber. So the front desk did allow me to change. However the rooms "overlook" the indoor pool, meaning noise until late at night and no ambient light from outdoors. One bottle of water and two servings of coffee for the room. Bathroom clean but needs updating. Meh at best and certainly not worth what I had to pay. read more

I was disgusted by how the general manager, Pete, treated my daughter who is transitioning to (and looks) female. I clearly referred to my daughter as "she" & "her." Pete kept looking at my daughter in what I'd consider a "questioning" look. As I walked away, I heard him say, "that is a grown man." I was speechless & prayed my daughter didn't hear him. The hotel was okay, but we have definitely seen better. The staff started out ok, but changed quickly when they learned that I booked the room through Priceline. There was a guy that actually rolled his eyes at me for not booking directly; as if it is somehow a crime to book on a less expensive site. The front desk had to call Priceline for some reason, then the Radisson still charged us for our room separate from Priceline. So we paid twice and we are STILL waiting on a refund. While on a trip to Rochester Minnesota from Illinois, we decided on taking the scenic roads along the Mississippi river. We stopped here in beautiful La Crosse and chose the Radisson to rest up. We had a beautiful river view room. Super clean and comfortable. Laying on the bed you can watch the boats go up the river with the beautiful bluffs as a back drop. The room was everything we look for while traveling. It was so nice, that we chose it again on our way back to Illinois 5 nights later. The location could not be better. One side of the hotel opens up to a park which leads to the Mississippi river, the other to all the restaurants and bars your little heart could desire in downtown La Crosse. The convince also extends to the conference center located right next door which hosts everything from conferences on teaching to dart tournaments, that is what was going on when I was staying. At way less than $100 a night, it is worth it in location alone. The convinces extend to inside the hotel as well. Amenities include a gym, pool, full service resteraunt and bar, and snack shop. One of my favorite things was the room service breakfast. For about the same price as the restaurant, you could pre-order your breakfast and have it delivered to your room at a specific time. This was great for those of us dealing with a 3 hour time change. As always, I must comment one of the most important things in my stay - water pressure. I give this place an A. Did not take long to get the shampoo out of my long thick hair. YEA!!! Seriously, bad water pressure can ruin a 5 star hotel for me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I'd even tell my parents to stay here (yes, I do like my parents). read more

Ordered a brisket omelette with hash browns. And topped it off with a bloody mary. Only in WI was I asked if I would like a beer chaser, 'of course'. The bloody mary came with a couple pcs of cheese and a couple pcs of beef or hot sticks. Again only in WI. The omelette was great and good size. The hash browns were real, not reconstituted from a box. Done crispy. Nice view of the Mississippi ( spell that with one i (eye)), joke. Just an all around great place to stay and dine. read more

This was a really nice hotel! The location is right on the river and it has some really nice places to walk at night. It's very romantic! There was even a lovely fountain with benches all around it. Very pretty. The room overlooked the river, too, which was really nice. Everything about the room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel is run down and very old. The room stunk, the air conditioning wouldn't cool the room below 72, the front desk called my room at 12:39 to tell me I had a delivery that wasn't for my room and woke up my entire family. Then, at 3:30 someone pulled on our door handle waking up my entire family again. Then, to add insult to injury, I booked the room on Expedia and selected the pet friendly room which was $25 more a night and said there was a $25 pet fee. I looked at what Radisson charged my card, and they charged me and additional $25 plus tax. They are telling me the pet friendly rooms are more expensive, and didn't actually cover the cost of my pet. So people without pets pay more for a pet friendly room? Makes no sense. I will never stay here again. Find another hotel that is newer, you will be happy you did. read more

Clean hotel, friendly staff, inviting lobby, pet-friendly. Our pet room was very clean and attractive with a view of the pool. This also led to our only complaint of hearing squawking children playing in the pool all morning. Dogs were comfortable in the room with plenty of space for their oversized dog bed a dishes. I booked a room here on a spontaneous weekend getaway at the very last possible second on Memorial weekend, and was able to get a nice room for a decent price. An absolutely beautiful location with amazing views of the river, bridge, and park. Very close to many restaurants, museums, and shops within walking distance. I had a river view room, which was very generous with sights of the Mississippi. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable beds I've slept in, in any hotel. The perfect amount of cushion, perfect firmness of pillows, and I loved how the blankets felt weighted, which was comforting. The room was somewhat clean although I was a bit concerned about the dust on a few of the items in the room, mainly the mugs/glasses (nothing a little wash in the sink can't fix, though). The refrigerator in the room also didn't seem to be keeping things as cold as I would've expected, even though it was cranked all the way to the highest cold setting. Otherwise, the hotel was very luxurious, quiet, and professional.
