Dead bedbugs found in room 531.
    Samantha A.

I am writing this from down the street at the Courtyard Marriott I was forced to relocate to at midnight due to discovering dead bedbugs in my bed. This was after checking in and being given a room with a soaking wet floor from a broken AC, switching rooms and then having about 25 preteen kids screaming in the hallway nonstop. I am traveling for business and I am horrified. The front desk agent was unable to produce an invoice showing my refund and also attempted to charge me a $5 fee for parking. Stay. Away.

Internet does not work for shit, the door gets stuck to the bathroom and it's hard to close it because it's binding. Bottom of the door is all corroded broken bent. TV doesn't work it's all blurry. No coffee in the lobby or anywhere to be found. You have to go to the restaurant and order it. The shower is small the bathroom small showerhead is lousy with the pressure is lousy. There is reserved parking spaces and there's a lot of them done over there for the parking lot was full and when I ask can I take no spaces they said no they reserve. There's constant banging at first I thought it was work, but I think it's the heat pipes. Oh my God and the noise from the street it is so noisy in this town. This is not a hotel to relax and enjoy your quiet time. there's no dresser or closet, so you gotta keep your clothes on the floor. Two tiny garbage pills right here for a day and a half and they're full.

I attended a baby shower here last weekend in one of the bay banquet rooms and I found this venue to be great for hosting an event. My girlfriend also had her wedding reception here and she was very pleased with the outcome. The room was perfect for 50 guests. There was a DJ booth, banquet tables and the event planner she hired, turned the room into heaven on earth. They really turned a small conference room into a fabulous event space. They were able to have some of the food catered and they brought some cultural items from home. The event ran from 8:00 p.m to 12:00 midnight. I found the staff to be very courteous and the hotel very posh and clean. I would definitely consider having an event here in the future if my budget allows.

You can join the boisterous night club "after party" in the Raddison New Rochelle parking lot until 4 a.m.

Staff is pleasant, room is clean, but think of this as more as a night club that also happens to have hotel rooms. The loud night club-associated activity in the parking lot until early morning hours that is frequently mentioned in reviews is an actual thing. It's 4:50 a.m. and I haven't been able to get back to sleep after being woken up at 3:30 a.m. for the third time this evening. Also, the TV is old-fashioned cable with no streaming options. One more thing: no free coffee in the morning. All for $230 including all taxes and fees. Yay Raddison. Last time I will ever stay at a Raddison Hotel.

I have never written a truly negative review of any establishment, but the management of this hotel truly deserves one. I accompanied my husband on a business stay here at the beginning of December. We stayed there with 4 other colleagues of my husband's so they could meet with a local company (who recommended the hotel). First the positives, the front desk staff was polite and checked us in quickly. Room and bath were clean, if a bit sparse in terms of comfortable furniture. One colleague arrived late and checked into a room that had a flooded bathroom and needed to be moved- which was done quickly when she went to the front desk. The restaurant is pleasant- decent food and very nice folks working. The negatives, we woke to noise and found that our room was surrounded on both sides of the hallway by workman. I kid you not. I expected to be able to work the first morning from our room, but it was very noisy so I went to the front desk to ask if there was another room since I needed to attend online meetings. The woman at the desk suggested the business services space, but that was not private. We decided to stay the second night since we were leaving early the next morning and didn't want the hassle. I asked at the front desk whether they would adjust our room rate for the inconvenience- we would have stayed in another hotel, if they had told us there was construction on our floor- let alone surrounding our room. I was told the manager was not present, but would call me. No call. I called her, Colby Brock, and she said she would "look into it" and get back to me. No return call. I called the accounting office. They said they would "look into it", since we shouldn't have been placed there or should have been moved. No return call. This morning I called Ms Brock- whose family apparently owns the hotel- and she professed to have no knowledge of the situation and proceeded to argue that since the workman were there 9-5 that should be acceptable. I described walking out of our door to find 2 (quite polite) workman having breakfast on either side of our occupied room. She told me that I was very elitist and did I not think workman should be allowed to eat? I was flabbergasted. Not that she cares or that Radisson- the franchiser- cares, but I will never stay there again. Nor in any Radisson now that I know there is zero accountibilty or quality standards on how to treat customers. Put me down as entirely dissatisfied with this chain.

Had better, had worse. I flipped between 2 and 3 stars, settled on 3. The cheery front desk person saved the third star. Location is good, and there is little competition. The rooms are reasonably sized and relatively updated. Bathrooms are snug, but serviceable. Wifi is free. Price is decent at $135 a night during the week. The frequent stay club is relegated to Radisson and a few other less popular spots (Club Carlson), so points matter not so much. The biggest issue here appears to be Housekeeping, and staffing. Both visits, one person at front desk. Wait time more than 10 minutes both times. Both visits, either NO regular coffee or only ONE regular to go with TWO decafs. One visit, no creamer. Last visit, negotiated a late checkout only to have housekeeping come on in (they used their key) to tell me checkout was at 11. Will definitely try the other hotel in town before coming here again.

The property is attached to a loud nightclub, and the noise and smoke travel throughout the building, including upper floors. Despite being advertised as smoke-free, the hallways smelled strongly of weed and cigarettes all night. The room itself was underwhelming. The TV did not work, the shower was poor, and overall maintenance felt neglected. This is not a quiet or family-friendly environment, and it is not suitable for anyone sensitive to smoke or noise. There are much better options nearby. I would strongly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn or Marriott a few minutes away instead.

So a little background on this hotel- it was actually in fact a radison Hotel, but switched names, and also kept some of the same staff. It is now Hotel No Ma. Located in the heart of New Rochelle, NY by the colleges, and by some local businesses to eat at. It is a cozy hotel and even has a restaurant called No Ma Social, where one can get happy hour drinks and food too! At check in, we also get a keychain where one can get a percentage off select menu items. This is also where breakfast is, and it is made to order! Liked that because- if one is in the mood for pancakes, and it is listed on the menu, you got it! Also has a seasonal pool, and fitness center. Easy parking as well, as the lot is big. Friendly staff at check in, and overall. room was ready to be checked in by the time we got there. Room had 2 beds, and a bathroom. Also was very clean and had lots of towels- and shampoo and conditioner too! Beds were comfy to sleep in. Loved the tv too, and watched the parade on it Thanksgiving morning. only con is the bathroom in the room is a little small, and a little hard to walk around in. Oh, and had to figure out how to turn on the shower- but luckily had my parents help on that one. Also, there was no bathroom fan- which-- well for me-- i find the bathroom fans obnoxious and loud, so for me it's good that it didn't have one- but for others who find it too hot after showering, or had to empty out- the fans can be useful. Anyways- overall clean room and was home for a few nights. Also had a fridge and great wifi! Also highly recommend food and drinks at No Ma Social at the lobby- where more pleasant staff was like the bartender Domique! Will write a separate review on that, but highly recommend! Checkout was also pleasant and easy. Also recommend this hotel, as it is comfortable!

Greeted right away at the desk and was assisted by, I believe her name was Naomi. She was outstanding and very helpful by allowing me to check in early after a long flight and a short wait. The room was extremely clean!!! Walked over to Chipotle for a quick lunch as food service was not offered until 4:30pm. Later in the evening I headed to the bar for a bite to eat and a glass of wine. The wine selection is extremely poor and what they did have tasted horrible. I ordered the steak tacos which were not fit to be fed to a dog. There was a pile of tan meat that I could not identify as steak in any way and that was it on the taco. They gave you a little plastic container of pico and sour cream that did not mask the taste enough. The nightclub music blaring from the speakers made it very challenging to have a conversation at the table and asked that it be turned down which they did but after about 30 minutes it was back up again. I would definitely return but would avoid the restaurant and bar which is frustrating because it will require an Uber to grab dinner unless you have a car of course.

I had lost my purse, which had my house keys and credit card in it, so all I had with me was my phone. I asked the hotel if I could pay with Apple Pay since I didn't have my card, and I just needed a safe place to stay until morning. The receptionist told me they only accept cash or card. I then asked if I could book through Booking.com and pay online, would they let me check in. The receptionist said yes. So I made a reservation and paid upfront through Booking.com. But when I showed him the confirmation, he suddenly told me I couldn't check in until 2 p.m. He hadn't said that earlier. Even though I had already paid, he then told me I had to wait *outside* the hotel. It was 5 a.m., I was alone, a woman in a vulnerable situation, and I had gone out of my way just to find a safe place. I was shocked. When I asked for a refund, the hotel refused. I had spent the last bit of money I had, thinking I'd at least have somewhere safe to stay. Being turned away like that--with proof of payment--was heartbreaking. The receptionist should have told me from the start that I wouldn't be allowed to check in until 2 p.m. Asking someone who's already in distress to wait outside in the early hours of the morning, despite having same day reservation, is completely unacceptable. And refusing to give me a refund made everything worse. This whole experience was deeply disappointing and honestly, shameful.
