I attended Machine Head's 2025 North American Tour at the Radius over the weekend, and it was my first time seeing a concert at this venue. I have to say, the venue itself was so much better than I expected it to be. Radius is massive, and there is plenty of room to move around during a show so you're not packed in like sardines. Radius also does a great job with temperature control inside - it was crowded for the concert, but they kept the AC on and I was fine wearing a hoodie inside, other venues like the Aragon Ballroom that would never happen - way too hot! Beer prices are standard for a concert venue like $12 for a pint of domestic beer, and our bartender was very friendly and provided quick service. The other employees I encountered (merch booth workers, security) also seemed friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a visit to Radius if you see an artist coming to perform there, it's a very updated, modern venue and pretty close to Chinatown.

I've been to Radius and Cermak Hall for a couple of artists now, and the experience always has been amazing! It is surely one of my favorite clubs in Chicago! I've seen Ben Bohmer, Charlotte DeWitte and Duke Dormant perform at these locations. The place has two stages, I personally like Radius much more than Cermak Hall as Cermak gets too congested and crammed at times. One good thing about this club is that you can buy tix to either of the stage, and then pass on through the interiors. My friends and I got tix for Radius as Cermak Hall was booked out for Charlotte but we could easily swap between the halls. During all my visits, this club hasn't disappointed. Amazing lighting, visuals, sound system and clean bathrooms too. It gets a little chaotic when you leave the premises and there is a long queue for ubers but this can be avoided if you can plan your visit slightly better.

I would say this is one of my favorite venues in chicago for electronic music! The sound system is loud! Even with earplugs in - it's super loud in here! Absolutely love it! Plenty of bars to get drinks and the bathrooms are decently clean. Love that there are many ways to view the stage.. off to the right side and on the upper balcony. The coat check line also moves pretty fast! I will always be down to see a music event here:)

Radius is a multi- use event space which is huge. This was my second time at Radius. I recently visited Radius because lost frequencies was playing over the weekend. I had a good experience. The place was clean, had great lights, and good sound quality. The restrooms were clean with lines moving pretty fast. The checkin process is smooth and fast moving. Coat check option is available too. I indulged in couple of rounds of vodka soda. The drinks were good and strong with right amount of alcohol. The drinks are a bit on the pricier side. Overall, I am pretty sure I am going to keep coming back to attend other concerts.

I attended a big event at radius in June of 2024. Radius Chicago is a venue that is known for its vibrant atmosphere, nightlife, and quality music events. The venue is spacious, and it has well-designed interior with a large dance floor, VIP areas, and multiple bars. The bathroom was clean. The venue attracts a trendy and youthful crowd, but not too raunchy. I definitely recommended to arrive early to avoid long lines. There is limited parking.

We swung by Radius for an after party of the Arc music festival. They thoroughly check IDs at the entrance. Upon entering, the nightclub is huge. There are multiple stages where different artists perform. The audio, lights, visuals, everything is just great. Drinks are a bit overpriced but that's expected. We had fun regardless of the place being crowded. Loved this nightclub and kinda shocked that I haven't been there all this time. 10/10 recommend.

Best concert experience! Huge, spacious, clean, great lights, and speakers! Easy to use restroom and easy to get drinks at any of their bars! Staff is super friendly and helpful as well. One of my fav venues!

This was my first show at this venue, we were here for the In This Moment show. I love that this big of a space allowed for aerial silk performers, I have seen ITM before but never with that added flair, and it was super cool. The sound quality was good, and even pretty far back we were able to see the performers on stage. It was easy to Lyft to and get picked up from. It's a pretty standard standing room only space. I appreciated that they had separate merch lines for each artist, which cut down on some time wasting. They also sell cheese curds? Which is random but made my partner's Wisconsin heart happy. The only thing that was weird was that none of the staff seemed to know what was going on when it came to VIP. We got sent to three different places by three different people. Eventually, it got sorted out but if you're paying extra, it's annoying to have to keep searching for where to go. All in all, I'd come back here again for another show.

2.5 hrs early for this kpop concert. I deserve major points for this

Radius, you're not my favorite venue tonight. My feet and toes are killing me. Security couldn't tell who was drunk or sober, so they wouldn't let anyone sit. After standing outside for more than 3 hrs and then standing inside for 3 hrs.. do the math. That's 6 hours of standing. At one point, I headed to the restroom because a few minutes sitting on a toilet in Chinatown sounded too tempting to pass up. Aside from this one issue, I liked this place. It's very clean and very spacious. The food isn't even terrible. It's pricey, but as venue food goes, it wasn't bad. The burgers all come the same though. -Loaded with mayo and sautéed onions among other things, so I hope you like both of those. There are 3 areas to buy adult beverages, although I barely saw anyone drinking tonight. Of course, it's Kpop and most of their fanbase seems to be underaged girls. Your takeaway: wear very comfortable shoes

One of the cleanest concert venues I've ever been too! Sound is great as well! Only wish they had more beer options.

I came here for the first time knowing my grandparents started coming here in the 50's for date night jazz. This place was founded in 1947 and you can see they've preserved this place to keep that same feel with all the greats from the past... Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie, George Benson, Lonnie Liston Smith, Hugh Masekela, Dexter Gordon, etc. (those are my favorites!). I saw the Kyle Swan Quartet. They were absolutely amazing. You see young and seasoned musicians that are so talented. I usually go to Birdland in NYC but this place, Jazz Showcase, is better to me because it feels more welcoming and like home here versus a production at a theater. We interact with the artists here-- well, they interact with us and make us feel like we are at home and like we are supposed to be there with them, not a performance transaction. $25+ for a show and booking online was a breeze. It's comfortable here, chairs are good and there's sofas in reserved areas but the whole seating area has a great view of the stage no matter where you're sitting. The staff seems gracious and kind of everyone who visits and genuinely wants you to have a great time. They see very selective in their talent that performs here... but why wouldn't they when they've been here for so long and had the best artists perform here?! I came the night that The only downside that may be for some people is they don't have food... only drinks. Me personally, I ate before and don't come for food, I come for the jazz... but they've got beer, cocktails, and other spirits. Macallan and Laphroaig for those who need a good whiskey. Come here if you're ready to relax and listen to great jazz with artists who know their craft. I'm coming back with friends... or even alone. Yeah, it's cool like that. ***Side note: the GPS may take you to the Main Street and you may not see the sign right away and actually have to turn the corner on Plymouth and walk down that side street to get to the end of the block (where the dead end/no outlet is).
