Heaven is an understatement. there were sausages, pork, beef, turkey, gnocchi- type thing, dumplings, pasta, etc etc. Every single thing was delicious and the 5 of us were so extremely full and sadly couldn't finish the plate. I would go back there on a daily basis if I could. Fairly inexpensive, delicious, great service, and nice ambience. Win win win on all counts!!! You must try this place if ever in Ulm. You can sit on a long beerbench with a bunch of ppl or choose a comfy chair placed at the water. Often in summer there is a gig of a nice band or a public viewing of soccer. It can get really crowded as it is one of the best beergardens in Augsburg. So bring along some time... Also the menu isnt that big and there is not much to choose from I rate 5 stars. Today I tried Qualitätsbier Export, Bier-Appel unfiltered Pils, Kocherreiter Pils, and seasonal Kocherreiter Dunkel. I liked the Export and unfiltered Pils. The other two were not to my taste. The dunkel did however pair well with the three slices of dark German bread spread with schmalz, onion, and parsley. Over all a good experience and worth stopping by to try local beer brewed at a brewery in existence since 1830.
