Then he changed his mind and said Tuesday...and he surely should have said a week ago Tuesday, that's how cruddy it looked. He also seemed very snarky about my husband picking through the cantaloupes and smelling the corn. When I checked out, he said "$50.26." I paid with my debit card and failed to get a receipt. He actually charged me $63.26 according to my bank. There has been a very nice lady behind the counter before but this guy was rude and overcharged me.

You must stop by to get their fruits, slushies, and hand pies in season. Spring: Strawberries, strawberry slushies, and strawberry hand pies. Summer: Peaches, peach slushies, and peach hand pies. The peach slushies taste like you are drinking a frozen form of a peach, and my favorite of the three! Fall: Apples, apple slushies, and apple hand pies. They have other fruits and veggies, but those are the main ones to stop for. They also have several jams and jellies, ice cream, and a few other baked goods. They are always friendly, too! I became acquainted with several local brands through my visits here. I did not know there was a mushroom farm nearby or the number of places to get duck and quail eggs. Raw milk is of course there, butter, etc and of course check the scratch and dent section in the corner near the exits for discounted items. They are open til 6 so enough to grab something for dinner on the way home. My only complaint is there is never enough Cajun boiled peanuts to satisfy the cravings but even the regular are really good and the staff is aces.
