The strawberries, I believe, come from Strawberry Hill which has some of the best tasting strawberries. Last month I stopped at the Country Corner to pick up peaches for my trip home. The peaches where better than any I can find in Ohio. In fact, when I arrived home with my peaches there were peaches at my home from aunt who had visited from Michigan while I was away. The SC peaches were so much better. The flavor of the SC peaches from Country Corner had so much more and better flavor. I also tried their Peach tea. It was better than tea from brands found in large grocery stores. The folks who operate the store are down to earth, friendly, and very helpful.

The corn that I had also wanted to get looked really bad, so my husband asked the man running the place how long he had had the corn. Today is Thursday. Initially the man said "Since Thursday." Then he changed his mind and said Tuesday...and he surely should have said a week ago Tuesday, that's how cruddy it looked. He also seemed very snarky about my husband picking through the cantaloupes and smelling the corn. When I checked out, he said "$50.26." I paid with my debit card and failed to get a receipt. He actually charged me $63.26 according to my bank. There has been a very nice lady behind the counter before but this guy was rude and overcharged me.
