I was called and told to come in to follow up with my ultrasound No Problem the Dr told me I could have surgery and to pick dates upon leaving great! The PROBLEM I have is I was charged $70 to literally JUST walk in the door As I leave I am told I owe $70 to a complete and total surprise to me I asked what for because I literally had had nothing done. This is his follow up appointment fee. I was not told of this fee prior to my appointment so disgusted I cancelled my surgery dates right there. I was not told of this fee of $70 to walk into the office. Not impressed I feel completely scammed I would not have gone for the follow up and would've just picked surgery dates. Completely put off and will not recommend this office to anyone. So to the Dr/owner of this office I will not be booking this surgery with you and I will be going elsewhere. Your hidden follow up fee should apply to people having continued treatments done not for people coming in to speak to you for 5 mins regarding a potential costly surgical procedure. When I arrived I went to a room and was told to undress, put on the robe and lie down with my feet on the stirrups. I said that I just wanted to consultation that day and was told to do it anyways. I put on the robe but just sat on the bed. Dr. Michelle Gerber came in and told me to put my feet on the stirrups and I again said I wanted to ask questions. She said I could ask questions but put my feet on the stirrups so I did. She explained the options and while I was asking my questions she said to me 'you need to make a decision, we do not have all day.' This is a very consequential medical procedure and I was incredibly rushed when I did not even want an IUD that day. I felt pressured, decided on an IUD and she inserted it. After this, I began bleeding more than I ever have in my life with massive blood clots. For 3 days I was bleeding through a super tampon every 20 minutes. After getting an ultrasound the clinic called me and told me I had fybroids. When I called Dr. Gerber about this and asked what to do she prescribed pills and said she was going away on vacation. I asked what am I meant to do if it does not get better and she goes away. She said that she could put a renewal on the pills but that 'she should not have to hold my hand through this process.' She pressured me into getting an IUD before I was ready which led to excessive bleeding and it is her duty to help me. She is a medical professional and should treat patients with far more care than she did. It was my first time getting an IUD, I wanted more information, I was scared and Dr. Gerber made the entire experience incredibly traumatic for me.In

The provider proceeded without it, and after completing the procedure admitted she wasn't sure the IUD was placed correctly -- and that she should have numbed me. I waited a month for an ultrasound, which confirmed the device was indeed misplaced. When the doctor called to inform me, instead of taking accountability, she told me it was my fault for "not relaxing." To make matters worse, my pap smear (done at the same appointment) was performed incorrectly and came back as an invalid sample, requiring me to redo the test. This experience left me in pain, anxious, and without proper care for over a month. A clinic providing reproductive healthcare should prioritize patient safety, accuracy, and compassion -- none of which I experienced here. I would strongly caution others before trusting this clinic with their care
