We were in the neighborhood and love checking out new breweries, and now very glad we found Rails End! The space is open and inviting, with a big bar and a cool back area complete with a stage. We did some flights and nearly every beer on tap. The toughest part of the visit was deciding which 4pack to take home (spoiler: the Double IPA won). We have been visiting this brewery for years now, it's always been an awesome local hangout spot. Whether you're grabbing a casual beer with friends or coming to one of their events, it is always a good vibe. The interior has lots of seating, a line for the beer tenders that is organized and easy to spot (moved relatively quickly if it is long). Outdoors there is a lot of seating as well as an outdoor bar area. They're known for their blood orange IPA, it's a perfect recipe (not too IPA-y). I've enjoyed every beer I've tried, most recently "bananarama" was quite a hit. They have food trucks and their own snacks, and great beer. Staff are generally friendly or friendly enough, I've never had any issues. Dog friendly in and outside which is a plus! Have gone to a few events they have had, St Pattys day,and just recently, Halloween. They partnered with a family-owned haunted house company to put on an awesome brief haunted house experience with a free beer with admission. They put on a show despite the cold weather (six flags closed today for the cold so we ended up here and they happened to have their own haunted house attraction). I really commend the staff, they did a great job with such a small space, it felt just right and I loved how it ends inside the brewery. Flew in from out of town and yelped brewery and this one came up. I had a flight and every beer was great. Service was outstanding and an awesome patio to hang out with this great weather. Fun Fact: The building that houses Rails End Beer Company in Broomfield used to be a race car shop! (Google AI) Tucked into an industrial area, this spot offers more of the classic beers. While there, I tried a new release, the Woodruff Ale at 4.7% ABV, and Blood Light IPA at 5.5% ABV. My taste for IPAs continues to grow as long as they don't blow out my palate with hops. This one had a nice citrus note. And, as all good breweries do, they let me have a sample before committing to a full pour. I stumbled on Rail's End while having some work done on my car nearby. Boy, was I happy! Pretty cool spot. Order at the bar and bring to your table. The beer garden even mists water from the pergola for those hot afternoons. They've got plenty of seating in the bar (where live music happens) and seating outside in the garden and even more near the parking lot where there's often a local food truck. The seats are comfy Adirondack or stools for hanging by the bar. Loved the seating area where there was umbrellas to protect from the scorching heat. Bring a water bottle, but if you forget they've got a water dispenser by the bar complete with eco friendly cups ;) read more

Rails End Beer Company was Kristin M, my pup, and I's second stop on our post hike brew-venture. SPACE: They have a wonderful patio that we spent most of our visit on. Inside, the taproom is adjacent the production area. They host a variety of events including live music and trivia nights. We were forced inside for a portion of our visit and discovered that Rails End Beer Company is entirely dog-friendly (both taproom and patio)! There was a band playing a variety of tunes. Near the bathrooms they have a small assortment of board games and card games to help entertain their guests. SIPS: Having sampled their Blood Orange Double IPA previously we opted for a pour of that and also the Belgian Saison. While both were quite tasty and rather gorgeous, they didn't really make a stand-out impression. Their taps appear to change fairly regularly and they def have some other very intriguing brews. I'm sure I'll make my way back to try some more of their offerings. SUSTENANCE: While they don't have a kitchen of their own they do host a variety of food trucks just off their back patio! Yay! During our visit Burger Chief had set up shop and was serving up some scrumptious smelling burgers and comfort foods. They also appear to regularly host Lord of the Wings, King of Wings, and Basic Kneads. I HIGHLY recommend the last two food trucks in particular. Needless to say your tummy will not go hungry. SERVICE: The beertender was def personable and friendly. He didn't bat and eye when I requested to use my Yelp check in offer. He even offered to fill up a dog bowl for my thirsty pup! While Rails End Beer Company is more than a little off the beaten path for me I could def see comping back to check out some of their other brew offerings next time I'm in the area. **Pro Tip: Don't forget to check in! I always feel like I'm driving to a secret spot when I go to a brewery lately. It's behind some building that's behind a tucked away street that's at the foot of the mountain. It's CO for you. Where there's an incredible number of breweries that's prob matching the amount of Starbucks location. Or more? Rails End is tiny and therefore cozy. Good beer. I was here for a friends bday and going away party. Their food is courtesy of a truck that makes really good chicken tenders. I am not even a chicken tender fan. The day we were here it took a long 30 minutes for the wait. And then they ran out of it! The fries are salty and therefore good! Parking seem limited. Outside seating has those water mist to keep you cool. I want to come back to update my beer choices. read more

I love the blood orange IPA. On a scale of 1 to 10 it gets a 10! Better than Tommyknockers which is very high on my list of favorite IPAs.

The service here was great! Super friendly folks running this place. As for the beer, I just wasn't a big fan. Nothing tasted GREAT to me. I tried 4 or 5 different ones but didn't love anything. So I ordered a Pilsner, which was okay. For my second beer, I took a friend's advice on mixing the DIPA + Key Lime Gose. It was tolerable at best. However, the atmosphere was really fun. They had a food truck near the outdoor patio, and the outdoor patio was large with easy access to the bar. Pets are welcome, and I got to love on a few fur babies. It was busy, but it wasn't uncomfortably cramped. I'd go back for the time with friends, but I don't know that I would order beers again. read more

Just dropped in here for a cold beer with some friends. It's just after 7pm on a Saturday and there's live music, pups running around, and really really really good beer! This place makes one of my most favorite beers ever, the Blood Orange Double IPA. Thats right... blood oranges and a double IPA. It's so good that you can crush quite a few and end up on the floor drunk. Smooth like a session, full blood orange flavor, and the bitterness of the IPA and the blood orange just send this to the moon. It's a great location too, with a great patio, but parking sucks. It's in an industrial area and the businesses around it are a bit busy too, so park a block a way and walk. The beertenders are pretty cool too, as is the owner, whom you can find having a beer with the patrons from time to time. I've of course had their other beers, aside from dark ones. Their new-ish Umbrella Hazy IPA is good, their sours are decent, and their pale ale's might be my second favorite style that they make. Great local place, support your local microbreweries! This was our last (fourth) stop on an afternoon of brewery hopping around Boulder, before heading back to the hotel for a pre-dinner nap. I wish we could have come here earlier in our line-up of breweries, because it was a great place to hang out but I just didn't have the energy left to "hang". Hubby had one of their IPAs and ordered me the Blonde Ale. We both enjoyed the Blonde over the IPA, but it's hard to know whether it's because we had already blown out palates. If we were back in the area again, I'd make sure to come here early and give this place a fair shake. The place is laid out really nicely, lots of tables and a shuffleboard table right in the brewing area. And there's an entire outdoor patio space with tables and umbrellas too. read more

They quickly poured my beer and didn't act like I was some free loader. Awesome! The atmosphere is really cool and they had live music while we were there. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. It's very much a locals spot, tucked off the beaten path. My search is over. In scouting out the local breweries in the Broomfield area, Rails is my perfect match. This place is a straight up brewery hidden in the Broomfield industrial park. The have a decent size patio outside with heat lamps to keep you warm in the evening. They usually have a food truck parked out back by the patio. Check out their FB page for the schedule they post which is appreciated. The inside isn't huge but has a good brewery feel. They have garage style doors on the patio side that open up and make the place feel more spacious. You have a good view of their brewing operations from the bar. They always have some good tunes on to spice up the atmosphere. They also have some games and whatnot to keep folks entertained. The crowd is younger and the place isn't littered with families or kids running around. The most important part. The beer. They like hops and so do I. They have a good variation of beers but an awesome selection of Pale ales and IPAs. I've had them all and they are very good. The beers all have an amazing glow to them.
