I went to a friend's birthday party. It was held in the room with its own entrance well to the left of the main entrance. When I went in the main, I told them I was there for that event and they directed me down to the proper door. This party room has a bar area as well as several tables and a cozy sitting area. It has its own unisex bathroom. There are sliding barn doors at the front and back of the room to allow both privacy for the party as well as easy pass through for the staff. The servers that were taking care of us were great! My friend had arranged for pizza and everyone was on their own for drinks. We had a variety of pizzas. My favorite was the Jalapeno Popper Pie. It had sweet chili sauce and the toppings were mozzarella, cream cheese, chorizo, bacon and jalapenos. That was delicious! For beer, I started "light" for me. Blarney Stone is a 5% ABV Red Irish Ale. That was tasty, but being that dark is my favorite, I needed to get a pint of Cow Tipper next. Cow Tipper is a 5% ABV milk stout. Dark beers are my jam so I really enjoyed this one. This was a great space for the party. They even let my friend set up their karaoke equipment and we were belting out the tunes. Great time! read more

Finally made it to Kokopelli after wanting to check it out for a while. The beer was good. I'd tell you about the second one, but unfortunately we'll never know. I grabbed a seat at the bar and quickly realized I was putting up numbers that would've made prime Caitlin Clark proud: lots of hand raises, plenty of court awareness, and absolutely no whistle. The beertender to my right was locked into a one-on-one conversation with a guy down the bar like it was Game 7 of the NBA Finals. At one point, I wasn't sure if I was a customer or just part of the décor. The funniest part? While completely ignoring my existence, she was telling the guy a story about a customer she'd put in his place earlier that day for being rude and not saying "please." The irony hit harder than a linebacker. Meanwhile, I was sitting there thinking, "Interesting. So we're enforcing etiquette now? Because acknowledging customers seems like a solid place to start." Shoutout to the other bartender, who eventually came off the bench and saved the day by serving me before I qualified for Social Security. I was more unimpressed with the not so friendly staff in general as well as the owner, telling my friends and I 30 mins before they even closed that the staff had been working all day so we Would need to be out of there by 10 pm when they closed . Really nice casual time. Just moved to the area and saw the KBC sign and thought we would give it a shot. Good beer selection for me, but my wife was THRILLED to see frozen wine slushies on the menu and grabbed one of those. She is already planning on a return trip for more frozen goodness. We each got the small size pizzas which are 12 inch and perfect for a single serving with a piece or two to take home. Very quick and friendly service especially for as busy as it was for a Saturday night. The outdoor seating was full which was a bummer but next time we will make it happen. Indoors was moderately noisy but not annoying or too much. The garlic knots which are posted everywhere were nothing special but we will try another appetizer next time. Time to meet my son for lunch and my choice for lunch was Kokopelli. We were greeted at the door by the host who was friendly and seated us immediately. I wasn't impressed to start because the water glasses were very smudged and I wasn't about to drink out of those glasses. Our waiter showed up right away and he was very attentive and presented a very pleasant personality. For an appetizer we ordered the Kokopelli Baked Pockets. The pockets were like those little frozen pizza bites you can purchase at the grocery store. It's basically baked stromboli, meatballs, sausage, Italian meats and mozzarella cheese with a sweet chili dip. The order came with 6 of these tasty little bites. My son ordered a small Rustica pizza and he loved it. It has BBQ sauce on it so that didn't appeal to me. I ordered a chicken, bacon and ranch wrap which was ok but nothing too special . The wrap was a little small compared to others I have ordered elsewhere. I also ordered a Tropical Thunder brew and it was pretty good. Our visit on the whole was a positive experience. The service was great, prices were reasonable but the place isn't very clean starting with the spotted water glasses and the table which was sticky. Great beer. The food was incredibly bad. The blue cheese dressing was like a yellowish jello. The kind full with of preservatives usually out of a packet at fast food locations or really low end restaurants. The pizza well it was average at best. Oh and the famous garlic nots were stale and dry that came with the salad. It's not hard to serve fresh quality salad dressing but going this low and cheep says so much. Hot meaning they made our tongues burn a bit being jalapeños. Lol But so good. To top that off we shared the Cobb salad and a cauliflower crust Hawaiian pizza - so very good. I had a glass of Claremont white wine and he tried two of their IPAs, the citrus polar storm and the west of the Mississippi. The IPAs were good but not quite what the menu described. What a lovely surprise! We've driven past this brewpub several times on our way to Costco and have been wanting to stop in. It is nestled in a little strip mall and unassuming on the outside, but has plenty of space inside and outside, so you can bring your pup when it's warm out. I also learned it was the first female owned and operated brewpub in Colorado! They have a huge selection of in-house made beers as well as relationships with local cider providers (my personal favorite). they also have seltzers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, so really something for everyone. Plus, another wonderful surprise was how good the food was! You never know with a brewpub, but they offer a ton of variety when it comes to their pizzas and our group tried several appetizers as well. My personal favorite, was the Kokopelli pockets. I had the Stromboli flavor, and will definitely order those again! On top of everything, the service was super friendly. We are so glad we have finally discovered this place! read more

Beer and pizza, but make it fashion Everything was so good. We had the Hawaiian pizza, small- at 12 inches, it was perfect for 2 people to share. My husband was a little leery of almonds and coconut on pizza, but they added a nice little crunch and texture without a ton of flavor. It also had a golden bbq sauce on it, which tasted mustard based- great counterpoint to the sweetness of all the toppings. We had the fruit cup, the juicy ipa, and the bonehead hefweizen. The fruit cup was amazing if you like sweet beers- it was a cider mixed with a weiss, and so tasty. The ipa was good as well, nice balance of sweet with the hops. The hefweizen was good, but nothing I would get again. Love their use of local wines and liquors as well- we had the bookcliff touch of red wine, which was very sweet, like a sangria. The mountain mule was made with local Breckinridge bourbon/whiskey as well as the in house made ginger beer- fabulous! They have a number of cheesecakes delivered by a local baker as well- it was a little small for the price (definitely not enough to share unless everyone wants just a bite) but so flavorful. The butter crunch had little candy pieces in a chocolate iced cheesecake. Sophie, our server, was super sweet and friendly despite us changing our minds about menus multiple times. Even waiting to close took forever after I brought in free beer from the brewery I work at. Weird. Had several samples and two full pours. They have a great selection including guest taps so it's a nice spot to try something new. For a beer lover or just meeting someone to catch up, a post work meeting, or showing a visiting friend a brewery that isn't too overwhelming. Cocktails too if you're into that. Kind of a best of both worlds. Shame to sit at the bar with numerous employees nearby and have to flag someone down for service. Otherwise fairly solid. Will be back. Worth a stop in the area. Hope service improves and the quality beer keeps flowing. Kokopelli Is generally full so it's certainly doing something right. This area of Westminster is seeing a lot of growth with the adjacent Alamo, Burger Bar, arcade, and retail stores. 2/3 stars for service unfortunately but 3/4 stars for the beer. read more

Everything about this pub brewery is incredible, some of my favorite local food in the area, ambience is a laid-back, local vibe. They host events with the community and it's a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is excellent. I've gotten food to go and eating in and it's been amazing every time. Dog friendly and they do have a patio. There's also a trivia night once a month. Heavenly Hawaiian pizza on cauliflower is the way to go, the quesadillas are also amazing. read more

Been a while since we've been to Kokopelli but my husband and I decided to come by with another couple on a Friday night. It was very busy so I recommend making reservations if you're coming on a weekend! While service was a bit slow due to the crowd, our waitress was friendly and fun and definitely had her hands full! For drinks, we ordered the anniversary special to split - which was a flight of 7 for $15. I wasn't super impressed with any of the beers, but I did like the flavor of the sweet stout and strawberry nitro ale. For a full pour, I got the Black Crimson Kiss Stout which was delicious and perfect for a chilly night and my husband got the Hopslugger which comes in it's own special glass. For food, we ordered a large Chicken Alfredo Pizza to split and it was really tasty! Highly recommend. We had plenty of leftovers between the two of us as well. This place is the best. It's right around the corner from my friend's house, fortunately, I'm a yelper. Otherwise, she would have never found it!! They have tons of seating inside and outside. They have a beer garden setup outside in the parking lot for when it's nice out. Inside are plenty of high tops and regular seating and a large bar. The staff, the Cody's. Which one you ask? Ask Cody. Hilarious and service oriented people. They have great beer choices and regular kombucha and wine for non beer drinkers. Suggestion to add hard kombucha next! Cody is recommend a shot of vodka to accommodate. The menu is larger and filled with options, not just fried food. They have vegetables with dip, garlic knots (really tasty), and tons of pizzas. The pizza and beers were very good. The service was excellent. The garlic knots were tiny and overcooked so skip those. I don't know why there are so many flies inside the restaurant but that was annoying. The other odd thing was there was a suggested tip on the bill but the math on it was wrong. Attended Bingo Night on 2/6. So much fun. The three of us ordered a large Now that's Italian pizza which was delicious. Bingo was well organized, didn't win anything but had a lot of fun.
