    Mixed nuts.

Oh. Muh. Josh. What an amazing find. This little (not really) place is incredible. Run don't walk. Fantastic brew selection and amazing food. Just reading the menus was pure joy. Hilarious and clever. The squirrel nuts are yummy - we got a small of each and mixed them together. The loaded squirrels are delish - we shared the squirrel package. We also had a 1/2 dozen of the squirrel meat - whoa. Like I said, RUN DON'T WALK.

Satire Brewing is hands down our go-to spot on the weekends! The beer here is consistently fantastic, always changing, always creative, and somehow never misses. Whether you're into something hoppy, fruity, rich, or totally unexpected, there's always something new to try, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it truly feels like a place built with love and passion. It's clear this is a family-run business that cares about its community and its craft. You can feel the heart in everything they do. Huge shout out to Landon--he's one of the friendliest and most genuine people we've met. Always greeting us with a smile and a great recommendation, he makes every visit feel personal and fun. His energy and hospitality are a big part of why we keep coming back! Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Great people, outstanding beer, and good vibes all around. Satire Brewing has become our happy place!

Place is pretty nice. Have heard a lot about it and never been until now. It's nice inside and well kept with tables big enough for larger groups of friends to get together. I did not have food, but will take the girlfriend here one day to eat something and get a drink. Service was great though. They came for our drink order and had it out in no time - always coming back to check and make sure we had everything that we needed and to check if we needed refills or wanted to try a different drink. Great place and will be back!

The best fall beer selection I've ever had! It's my new go-to place. I've been twice in the last week and could go back again right away!

This place was fun! The staff welcomed us in and we found a seat at the bar. There were some folks next to us that let us know this is their favorite place. They knew everyone by name. The beers! Satire is as its name implies. They have fun naming for all of their beverages and food. I want to do a return trip to try some of the food because it smelled amazing. On this evening we did not have time for a snack. We both enjoyed a flight, trying a variety. My favorites were Butter Beer and Dilldo (Noted in the menu with a quote from Westword as "Perhaps the worst beer name in the state".) Dill pickle beer sounds strange, but it was quite tasty. We will be back again, for sure.

A hidden gem. Wonderful staff and delicious food. A great patio that is dog friendly as well. And of course, the drinks were great.

I slept about 4 hours the night before to make it early for sunrise. To say that a few tasty beers were what the doctor ordered would be the understatement of the century! None of this matters, of course, to the good folks at Rocky Cut Brewing Company. This is off the main drag of Estes in an unassuming strip plaza. Humble vibes inside, a simple U-shaped bar top with seating all around, a few smaller tables, a community table, and a large patio with mostly picnic table seating. If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. I would summarize this beer just as they did, focusing on hops, citrus, and pine. Absolutely delicious, a memorable IPA in recent memory. I liked it so much I ordered it again and it tasted just as delicious the second time down! They also had a food truck outside, so safe to assume they do this often. Would love to try more of their beers during my next visit. Rock Cut, I see you!

She snapped at me and said one tab for the table was all needed for the table. I kindly requested more firmly that I'd appreciate my guests open their own tabs. The server replied sharply that their policy required only one tab to be opened and upon closing the tab I could split the tab with my guests. In that moment I chose to preserve the atmosphere in front of my friends , family, and my 3 grandchildren and let it go. Upon calling the manager on Monday, I spoke with Lisa. I was caught off guard with her defensive nature saying, I was wrong as I should have asked for the manager. Again, you think I wanted to create that type of energy in front of my friends, family and (ages 7,11, 13) my grandchildren. We were there to celebrate my nephews birthday and to listen to J Blackburn. The whole situation was offensive. The server may have the authority to manage the tabs but not to define my worth and certainly not the authority to diminish my voice (as you did as well upon my phone call). Must all be part of your protocol. I made a reasonable request and the server chose to decline it. I believe my request should have been honored - although the server who may have been busy, overwhelmed decided to follow what she believed to be easiest on herself in that moment. And Lisa, your defensive nature during our phone call didn't help. As you reviewed my bill with close to a 12 beers you again caught me off guard with your defensive nature. Lisa, sadly you never communicated you understood my position as the customer making a reasonable request, and again made sure to defensively communicate we received 2 free refills of soda (for my grandchildren) and the Arnold Palmer refill I was drinking being the DD. I was not questioning the outstanding service I received from the server who collected my final bill - I am mainly stating you have a server on board who communicated horribly and rudely as a server. You have to know exactly who I'm talking about as she stood out as a disgruntled server. That is not my opinion but of those at my table. Lisa, you ultimately never credited the dozen beers (or partial credit) that I clearly did not drink nor was anyone left at my table when I paid my bill.

Perfectly fresh, perfectly fried, and somehow managing to strike that ideal balance between a crisp, golden exterior and a rich, melty center, they absolutely blew me away. Every bite tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. I kept waiting to find a cheese curd somewhere in Wisconsin that could top them--and honestly, I never did. I've eaten cheese curds from places that Wisconsinites consider legendary, and Windfall's still sits at the top of my list. If you're a cheese curd lover, do yourself a favor and order them. They alone are worth the visit. Five stars without hesitation, for the food itself. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. We've had a few waitresses who came across as rude or dismissive, which takes away from an otherwise excellent experience. That said, the food always comes out very quickly, and the cheese curds are genuinely unforgettable.

Until I realized they must have gotten frustrated with the long wait to be seated. I mean 10 minutes at 2PM. It's not busy. Not worth the wait. It was dry. The onion rings were okay though. I should have left. Not coming back.
