Completely unreliable service. If you don't care if or when your work gets done, this is the place. They don't answer their phone and they send text messages to change appointments without calling. I made an appointment for sprinkler winterization, a few days later they changed it via text, then they cancelled it via text on the time they were supposed to be here. I called twice with no answer and finally got a reply when I replied to their text. On the phone, they said their compressor was broken, in the text the day before they said it was repaired. We contacted Rainman Services they came out May 30 the OWNER OF THE COMPANY installed Hydro-rain WIFI controller. They never hooked the pump up or started the system. We tried re-scheduling with nothing but cancellations. They finally came out beginning of July. They requested we get an electrician to raise our pump outlet that was the reason our breaker was tripping. We scheduled a licensed electrician to come out they reviewed the box installation. The box was not installed properly which he fixed 40 minutes later on our dime! The outlet was tested for the pump and there was not a problem with it. I called Robin (scheduler) today July 17 to confirm the time they would be out. She informed me they were 2 workers short not sure if they could make it out! Temperatures are high 80's going into 90 tomorrow, I'm losing landscaping the grass is burnt. I then received a call at 2:45 they would not be able to make it due to only 2 men working. I would have not have tried this company if my guy had not retired and they bought the business. They are completely unprofessional and unreliable. Please do not use this company if you have any "issues" with your sprinkler system. Trying to schedule an appointment is ridiculously difficult and then they NEVER show up anywhere near the time scheduled. Once they do show up excuses are given as to why they can't "fix" the problem at that appointed time. Electrical issues seems to a favorite - we did have the electric checked twice and both results were no electrical issues. Same experience as the previous review. I called and left a voicemail to inquire about blowing out my sprinkler. The woman, Robin, eventually calls back. Total space case if you ask me. So we set up an appointment for the following week. The next day I received a Text saying my appointment was canceled due to the compressor being broken. Rescheduled on a Saturday. Two days later get a cancellation text for my Saturday appointment. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Highly recommend hiring a established business. Poor job performance, installers had no experience, poor communication, late at job, had a installer quit and sit in my driveway for over 2 hours on my dime. Completely tore up my lawn. Botched the job. Disrespected my wife. read more

I have a new home in the area and was referred to this business for winterization of sprinkler system. I made an appointment then had a staff member call and cancel saying they were done for the year but could not give a reason. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with Lakeshore instead. I would not recommend rain man services. read more
