I am very disappointed with the service I received from Moore and Sons roofing. I have a manufactured home that has had some modifications over the years and it is in need of a new roof. The new roof is needed in part because of some flatter sections of the roof as a result of some of the modifications. The estimator that met me at my house said he was a little concerned about the tricky sections but that he should "probably" be able to do something for me. He texted (not a phone call) me a few days later saying there was "no good way to roof my home without the risk of leaking." So for liability reasons they had to turn me down. I understand companies have to protect themselves but I contacted 3 other roofing companies and all 3 found a way to roof the home correctly (and with a warranty) and all 3 got me a quote in a timely matter. Just seemed Moore And Sons were more concerned with protecting themselves than finding a way to help me in a time of need. Can't give a one star review because I've never seen their actual roofing work. Just very disappointed in the service. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I am completely clueless when it comes to roofing. So in the beginning it was hard to find someone I felt was being straightforward with me. Thankfully we found Moore and Sons. They even showed up on time to give us a quote, the other guys did not. We had a new roof put on by Ed and his amazing crew and couldn't have been more happy. They are quick to respond to any of our questions, very nice, honest, have competitive prices, and do wonderful quality work in what seems like a short amount of time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Don't waste time with the other guys and just give Ed a call!! Two thumbs up!! read more

Drove past a Moor and Sons job site. A bad accident waiting to happen. Blocked the entire lane of a blind 55MPH curve. Sherrif had to show up and make them clear the road and also put up proper signage on the property for the work being done. My siblings and I were selling our childhood home, and the roof was around 25 years old which was scaring away buyers. We got a quote from a nearby competitor and it seemed a little high. Moore & Sons advertises in our church bulletin so we thought why not. It was a very smart move. Their quote was lower, and INCLUDED the removal and replacement of some boards that had some mold underneath. The work began a week or so after we signed the agreement, and was finished a day later. All the mess was completely cleaned up -- no debris in the yard, etc. We couldn't even tell they had been there, except for the terrific-looking brand-new roof. Ed and his team were very professional and easy to work with from start to finish. Highly recommended! read more

I had Ed Moore and his team come out and give us a quote for roofing. Their quote was thousands of dollars less than the other quotes we received- which was amazing. The roofing team was so quick with the job, and they had great craftsmanship. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs a roof in the area. He was prompt, we actually got to meet the owner. And! (This is a big one for me) he actually addressed the lady of the house. The other places we got quotes from, the guys only answered to my husband. Quality work for an EXCELLENT price!! Just got my 2 story roof replaced by Moore and Sons just under 10K. Dave K was our field representative (sales guy) recommended by our home inspector Todd M. He was great to work with!! And the crew worked hard to get the job done w/in 2 days, just before more rain. After my roof was completed, I had an inspector from alert inspection in hudsonville, MI, check out the finished job. Tom who has been in the roofing business for 20+ years, inspected our roof and told me he could tell Moore and Sons did not skimp on products. Also, after telling him what we paid, he said he would of thought we paid more. read more

We had several quotes prior to going with Moore & Sons Roofing. We chose this company based on their competitive pricing, installation schedule/availability, and the honesty of their salesman, owner, Jeramiah Moore. Also, the roofing products and the procedures they use during installation assured us the highest quality result. The roofing crew (lead by crew leader,Jose) was FAST, working sun up to sun down, so they were able to finish our roof job in just one day while still maintaining excellence and using an "above the standard" number of nails per shingle. We had one gutter that was damaged during the roof installation, and Jeramiah promptly scheduled a replacement installed. We needed to do a 100% replacement of our roof, so we reached out to 3 potential roofers. Ed Moore was the first at our door the very next day. He had already measured our roof based on satellite images and was able to give us an estimate at the end of our initial discussion. It took the other roofers weeks to get back to us. Two weeks after the consult, Ed called to notify us they'd be over the next morning to begin work. With a very competent crew of 4, they were able to complete the work in two days. The team appeared skilled, experienced and they worked hard. They were meticulous in their clean-up as well. In fact, the driver of the truck that deposits and picks up the dumpster was the same. I noticed him scanning our driveway for loose roofing nails before he left. We are pleased with the roof and with our services from Ed Moore and his team. read more
