I would think twice about this place…read more I had my two year old son on the list here and was told I had a spot in their two year old classroom. My son has autism though, and so they said I needed an aide or they would not allow him to attend. So I went through hell to get the aide set up. It took weeks and hours and hours on the phone and filling out paperwork. And then I went to tour the two year old class with my son. I told them I wanted him to be with kiddos his own age to have the opportunities to learn the skills other two year olds were learning. And everything was fine, but when I was leaving after the tour they said they had decided it was a good idea to start my son in the younger classroom, which they said was 18-36 months. Even though he had a spot in the two year old class? But then when I asked for the pricing schedule for that class, it was listed as 12-24 months. My son is two and a half. So I called back and said why are you trying to put my two year old son in a class that's not for his age when you told me there is a spot in the two year old class? And they insisted there were two year olds in the class. But when I pushed to find out exactly how many, I found out they were actually moving all of the two year olds up to the two year old class right when my son would start, so he would not have any kids the same age in that class. And they had given my spot in the two year old class away to one of those kids. So now I no longer had the spot that existed for him anymore. As if life wasn't hard enough being a parent of an autistic child. It's hard as hell. And then you have to deal with people trying to deny your kid the same opportunities as other kids. My son is a sweet, gentle little two year old boy, no behavioral issues, loves being around other kids, and he was going to have an aide for the time he was there at their insistence. And he needs the opportunity to learn the same skills other kids learn in daycare. If you have an autistic child or know anyone who has an autistic child, think carefully about which businesses you want to support and which you don't.

I know he is well taken care of while I'm at work and I don't worry about his safety and well-being knowing he is in great hands while I'm away. Galina's Daycare

Galina's Daycare is an oasis of routine, care, comfort, and community in a time of upheaval after…read morehaving a child. Our baby was about 5 months old when we started his care there, and I believe that Galina's concern and care were integral in his development (and ours as parents) over his first 2 years. She helped us establish a naptime routine such that when he was home, he went down without a fuss. Which also transferred to bedtimes being painless. She would let us know if something seemed wrong (a cough, runny nose, irregular BMs, etc.) and give us tips for what to do at home. As new parents, we were grateful for her advice and consideration, but she was never judgemental. While Galina's pricing seems high, she delivers with enrichment: everything from birthday parties, art projects, celebrating holidays (the Mother's Day projects were SO CUTE this year), and dance parties. She and her mom bake all kinds of treats for us to take home throughout the year, and always makes sure all the kids are at the house for big holidays. My kid has had a great first two years of making friends and exploring his world. It also is a small group of kids so they all get really close. I have connected with some of the parents and hope we can keep their friendships alive over the coming years. As an only child, our kid really benefitted from being around kids of varying ages for him to play with. The big kids taught by example and I think having the little infants around have helped him be gentle. Galina also does potty training. Once my kid was interested--mainly from other kids at the daycare being potty trained--, we bought a potty at home and he already was going #1 consistently at 21 months. 10/10 I highly recommend Galina's Daycare!

Galina is AMAZING!!! We recently moved away from the area and one of the only reasons why we had…read moredoubts is because we don't think we'll ever find a daycare as great, caring, and attentive as Galina's. She develops a connection with each child and makes their wellbeing and happiness a priority. My daughter was always so excited to go there, making the transition really easy when we had to start daycare. My daughter was also introduced to so many healthy foods that we would have never thought of in our household. I was always so surprised when my daughter would come home with a new skill, such as knowing how to blow her nose (so helpful!). Highly recommend Galina, we miss her so much!

Lele are so amazing, my child is now turning three and I wouldn't want her to grow up with any other teachers or children. They make sure to keep all holidays fun and festive, they are amazing teachers my daughter knows her full ABCS, how to spell her name, count and much more at the age of 1 and a half she continues to learn and grow because they are so consistent, communication with these providers is so easy and comfortable. I love them like family and most of all my daughter is excited to go to daycare every single day. She loves her teachers and the activities. One million percent recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy and fun place for your children to go to while your working.
