I purchased a Jeep on June 1, and within…read morehours, the tire-pressure warning light came on, followed by the check-engine light later that night. Within days, the Jeep began jerking while driving. I immediately reported the problems and repeatedly returned to the dealership. I was told an engine part had been ordered, but later, when we checked the vehicle, there was no record showing that the part had been installed. A diagnostic scan eventually showed an engine misfire, and the dealership later stated that the Jeep needed a new engine. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. The vehicle remained at the dealership for an extended period, yet we repeatedly had to contact them for updates. Management initially indicated that I should not have to pay for the engine because the problem existed from the time of purchase, but later changed its position and said I was responsible. The dealership also later claimed the vehicle was sold "as is," despite that not being disclosed to us at the time of purchase and the document presented later not being part of our original paperwork or signed by us. The dealership's handling of the vehicle and communication with the lender also contributed to additional financial and credit concerns. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected transparency, communication, and accountability after purchasing a vehicle, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Rainbow.

It is now almost the end of February, and I guess I am still #2 on the board. The only other contact that has been made is when they came to swap the loaner vehicle out. I am still making payments, but I want MY TRUCK!! No one and I mean NO ONE has been in contact with me on the progress of my repairs. If I go to dealership and express my feelings on the situation, they tell me, "Well you have a vehicle to drive". That's not the point. I feel as if I'm throwing my money away because I cannot enjoy my own vehicle. In addition, I was told by the dealership if I go over 100 miles to let them know because they would shut the vehicle off if I did. PLEASE FIX MY VEHICLE OR SWAP ME OUT FOR ANOTHER ONE.
