I speak on experience because Larry and his office worked through Christmas several years ago to take care of me and my children after an auto accident. I felt as if they were my family with how important they made me feel. I never felt like a burden to them. That probably seems odd to say, but I say this from the truth of my situation. I am sure to most people insurance agents are rip off agents only out to make a dime or dollar. However, Larry and his representatives are truly wonderful people who care deeply about their clients. That rings clear in the tenor of all their voices. There is never a time I call, even to make a payment, when I don't get a nice conversation with someone who feels like an old friend. They always ask about my husband and kids. They utilize every possible discount and know all the curves to insurance. I never really use Yelp and haven't had to file a policy in years so the question as to why write a review now? Well, I just got off the phone with one of their employees after making a premium payment. A woman named Josie and felt propelled to write a review. To often you hear about companies or people when something bad has happened, but they should be recognized just for being FANTASTIC, all of them. It never fails who I reach I feel that I matter. NO question is too small. They are always willing to work with me. Even when our finances got very tight with my health decline they did everything they could to make sure we stayed with them and kept our full coverage because they understand that we cannot afford to purchase another car if ours is totaled. I wanted to write this review because I see several doctors a month and deal with lots of office managers due to that and nurses and well doctors. So I have come to realize most people just do their job. They are nice and there is nothing wrong with just doing your job, but when you find someplace where everyone goes so far above and beyond to the point where sometimes you just want to call because you know you will get a smiling voice on the other end that is a company that deserves a 25 star review, but alas 5 is all I can give. The 1st time I was told my insurance was due on the 14th with a 10 day grace period I called on the 16th and found out my insurance was cancelled. Infromed them of what I was told got no apology but the did admit they gave me the wrong info it was due on the 4th and I had 10 days grace period from then. Paid to have it reinsated was told everything would be the same called a few days later to make my payment and it changed from $200 a month to $415 a month without me signing any other quotes they rewrote my whole policy. I cannot afford that and did not agree to that but I am not being given any alternatives or even getting the money back I paid to REINSTATE a policy that does not exist.

Vague phrases like "market adjustments" were repeated, but no one could break down what specifically justified such significant hikes. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was repeatedly transferred into unrelated call queues or different departments. It became clear that escalation was being avoided rather than facilitated. That is not how a reputable organization handles customer concerns. Additionally, I inquired about discounts that should reasonably apply -- including veteran-related benefits, proximity to a fire hydrant (within 20 feet), and a five-minute fire department response time. These were either dismissed, vaguely addressed, or not honored without meaningful explanation. Insurance depends on trust and transparency. Customers deserve clear answers, consistent policies, and representatives empowered to resolve issues -- not redirect them. I hope AAA leadership reviews call recordings, strengthens quality assurance oversight, and implements real accountability. Loyal customers should not have to fight for clarity.
