Worst customer service i have ever experienced - once they get your money you are SCREWED

Because of fear that the necessary moving of appliances would result in some damage somewhere, I was hesitant to order a ceramic tile floor to replace the linoleum in our Laughlin home. But Diane wanted it, so we moved ahead to select ceramic tile and have the linoleum floor in the kitchen and utility room removed and replaced by tile. It was a dizzying experience. We soon learned that there are hundreds if not thousands of types and designs of tile. And, in the big box stores different designs just sit in rows on shelves with few prices marked and no sales associate nearby to offer any reasonable semblance of personal service. So we opted to go with a small business that specializes in tile and other flooring. Rainbow Tile & Carpet fit our needs perfectly. Its staff patiently guided us through different types of tile, and even let us take a few samples home to see what looked best with our appliances, cabinetry, kitchen table, and chairs. Once we selected tile and grout, our kitchen and utility room were measured during an on-site visit, and a firm quote was given on the spot to remove the old flooring and install a tile floor. The price seemed fair, and although it might have been a little bit higher than what we would have been quoted at a big box store, we received excellent customer service and knew we had explored various tile options before making an informed choice. Then the work was completed, and although it was clearly professionally done, three tiles of the whole lot were rather plain and just lacked pizzazz compared to the others. I mentioned this to Rick, the proprietor, and he agreed to replace the three tiles with three extra tiles that came from the same batch, at our convenience and at no additional charge. Tile layer Justin and his helper performed this additional work in about two hours time, and now Diane and I have a tile floor on which every tile looks sharp, and with which we are completely pleased. We appreciated the friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and highly competent service we received from the entire staff at Rainbow Tile & Carpet, and highly recommend this company to others needing or wanting a new tile floor--just like this business was recommended to us by friends. read more

Worst place to do business with! The installer says a time he'll be there and sometimes doesn't show up for over an hour later. The shop/field foreman was a rude disrespectful person. When the job was incomplete due to cutting a transition piece to short, not reinstalling the closet tracks, garbage pickup, and fighting with my husband his reply was "welcome to Bullhead!". I've never felt with a company that won't fix problems. We requested a different installer to fix our problems since we had so many problems with the installer. We were told that's too bad, that, that is who they had and that was it. The lady who originally took our order lost the paperwork, should have known then! And then at the end forgot to include the baseboard price. I paid almost $10,000 for this and still have not gotten my transition strip fixed 2 months later! Shop/field foreman says he's buying the company and that the owner doesn't have very much interest anymore. however, he's the person who measured our house. Enough said! read more

Purchased carpet from Rainbow and Crystal was very helpful. The installer arrived late in the day and upon arrival my husband made sure he was putting the seam in the closet. His response was he wouldn't do it any other way. About 8:30 pm my husband went in the room to check on him and the seam was across the room. At this point we asked the installer to stop until we could talk to someone in the office. The next morning the owner, Rick called at 9:10 am. Rick was irate from the get go. He called us lairs, threatened to come and kick my husbands a_ _ and said f_ _k you and hung up. WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE EVER. We were numb. My husband called and spoke to Crystal she sent the installer back out to finish the job that day. He was there another 3 hours. I would rate our install job as poor, the stairs look terrible, thank goodness there are only two of them. The room we had carpeted is 13 x 11. The owner is a bully, its his way or no way! I would not even give 1 Star to rainbow tile but have to be able give a review. I hired rainbow tile to put tile in my home and not only did they distory all our door jams, left tile uneven on our floor. Then when I went to tell them they thought they did a great job. And didn't want to take responsibility for a bad job. I would never ever use rainbow tile again. read more

Rainbow tile and carpet recently tiled two rooms for us. We chose the wood look tile, and it turned out beautifully. The installers were great, they moved all of the furniture and tore out the two rooms of laminate flooring. The job was done in 3 three days, and it looks super! Also would like to add Rick is very personable and helpful in giving us our estimate. I highly recommend this company for your flooring needs! read more

Unbelievable service from start to finish! We found out that our past renter had a pet that had an accident on the carpet and we needed to change out the carpet in secondary bedrooms. Coming from out of area, we only had a few days to find someone who could sell and install. We were fortunate that Rainbow Tile & Carpet were in town. I was able to speak to Crystal over the phone and explain our dilemma. Crystal was very helpful and gave us a few options, and took the time to give general cost expectations based on dimensions I provided. She was extreme upbeat and patient. She said that getting someone out to measure in a few days would be a challenge and arranging to have installed could take over a week or longer. We made a few other calls to other local Carpet companies and were told the same. We decided to drive over to Rainbow tile and carpet since they were right off highway 95. We met Crystal and she was able to show us some carpet and said (before we even arrived she took the initiative) she had already started working on getting someone to come out to measure. We picked out carpet and then left to go take care of a few more errands. We were in the truck for no more than ten minutes when we got a call from Crystal stating one of her installers had a job near by and was available to measure, are we available to meet at our rental house ASAP? This was at around 11 am. The installer Jim was at our property within 20 minutes. Jim was working on an install a few blocks away. He was heading back to office to get more supplies and was nice enough to do measurements. He said that he would be finishing his job at 6 and if it wasn't to late, he would be willing to install after if we were ok with him working into the evening. Are you serious! Jim arrived around 6:30 pm same day with carpet and removed old carpet and installed carpet for two rooms. Very professional, cleaned up after and even helped me move some furniture. The whole experience from start to finish again was above and beyond good service. I wish we got this kind of service in California. We will absolutely use them in the future!!! read more

Have a bunch of investment properties out here. Would never hire this guy again. Did awful work. I don't blame the installer Mike. I blame the owner Rick. He bid the job too low to try to get me to pick him and then tried to be cheap. Didn't handle any of the details. Left the place dirty. Put flooring around the top of the toilet base. Looks bad and isn't practical at all. Broke a window and it took me pestering to get them to fix it. Back door doesn't open because the carpet is too high. A professional should know that's going to happen and talk to me about a resolution, not pretend like it didn't happen and leave me to find out by myself. read more
