Road trip to Top Golf and the kiddos insisted we go here. They love Cane's signature sauce. Sauce was good. A mix of Mayo, ketchup and Worcestershire. Different from any other sauce I've had. The chicken fingers were crispy yet juicy. Crinkle cut fries were ok. The cashier was very nice and even gave us suggestions. He said that we were better off getting extra bread (which was a tasty highlight) than their mediocre cole slaw. The dining area was clean as was the self serve soda machine and condiment area. Service was fast. They have a simple menu, chicken or chicken? Silly side note. The plastic bag our food came in intentionally had holes in it. So even if they tied off the handles it would not trap the heat, causing condensation and making our food soggy. Ingenious!! For a first time experience, it was a good one. read more

I come here a decent amount, almost always the drive through. I will say that the drive through is usually quick and efficient. The workers are always pleasant and the food is decently consistent. Only complaint would be that sometimes the fries are soggy. But i love my canes sauce!! read more

I'll never understand why every time i go here I'm stuck in line for 15-20 minutes when they only have two menu items. Chicken strips or chicken sandwiches. Even with that level of simplicity they forgot one of our meals that we had to ask for, forgot to sub out the sauces and their drink machine was clearly out of flavoring because it was practically straight carbonated water. read more

Our first time here, and we loved it! Seriously, we think their chicken is better than Chick-fil-A! The decor is clean and modern with memorabilia to honor the city in which they built their restaurant. I am assuming that they do that in all of the cities where they build a Raising Canes. If you love chicken fingers this is the place for you! I ordered the regular basket that came with fries and the tasty Texas toast. The Cane's sauce is what makes the chicken and everything else. I'd buy a bottle of just the sauce! Not sure if they sell it... The drive through is a bit screwy. There's a small menu when you first pull in with what seems like only half of the items on it. The hostess comes up to your car and takes your order. It seems inefficient because what if I wanted to order from the big full menu? I'd have to wait until I got to said menu in line. It seems like it would mess up everything at that point. But I guess that there's some witchcraft behind the whole layout. What a disappointing example of false advertising. Freeway sign shows canes as available at the exit without any indication that it's actually almost 2 1/2 miles off the exit. This is ridiculous and Cane's pays for the sign. They should indicate the mileage because it's a big waste of time getting off on a specific exit and they don't actually have anything. read more

All I can say is that this is the worst processed food restaurant on the planet. Factory farmed chicken, which is full of GMO corn, antibiotics, steroids, but the worst is the taste. Globs of unseasoned breading doesn't add to the already bland chicken. read more

Best Cane's I've been to. You can tell the staff really enjoy their jobs. They are always smiling and at one point were singing in the kitchen to the radio. They brought us our order fast as well. Food was really good, nice and hot. read more

We ate here about a week after it opened when it was still busy enough for the police to need to direct traffic.. it's been overwhelmingly packed every time I drove past. Finally had time to go through the drive-thru. We had never eaten at a Raising Cane's before, but after seeing the menu literally only had one meal, we had hope everything would taste perfected & fantastic. We shared a Caniac Combo. My chicken tenders were crispy, juicy, & hot. The coleslaw you could taste was fresh, but to be honest it was a little boring.. just missing something. The Cane's sauce was good, but not spectacular like I expected. It reminds me of a fancy ketchup, and there's no heat/spice. I think the bread was our favorite part, sweet and good, not very toasted but I suspect that was just because it was busy. The crinkle fries were just crinkle fries, I don't much prefer these, and they were not seasoned or different than any I'd had in the past. I suppose I'm kind of surprised this place is a lasting, expanding franchise. I mean, the food was made well, but I think I'd call it bland, even. Obviously, this is no fault of the Mentor location, I believe it's just the Raising Cane's recipe. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I thought the music in the drive-thru was fun (and a perfect genre selection). I'm not sure I'd ever be able to crave this, but I like that it's open late and I would go here again. read more

Hey I have been away from yelp as time and work has not allowed much time to find out. Wanted to give a review of this place as I had been there when in California. Wow what a difference a time and place makes. I do not have one if these close to me but was passing this location on my way to a work sight so I thought my crew deserves a good lunch. I ordered a tailgate with 25 tenders and the bread. I know only a $50 order for 6 people but we all have drinks available at the sight. Placed the order and went about my day until time to pick it up about an hour and a half. I arrived a few mins. early (9)to be exact.cgeckrd in and waited. People came in got orders and ate and left still no order. 15 minutes I waited before asking about it. Young lady behind the counter said it's not ready. Mind you no name tags are worn by these workers. Another 15 goes by and yes a bit more gruff I ask for an estimate on time as I have a crew of 6 standing around waiting as I informed them that I would be there by now. The same you g lady said why are you getting mad at me there is nothing thing I can do it isn't ready. I waited yes getting a bit more frustrated. 15 more and finally they ask if they could see my order. After seeing it another you g lady moved a few things around and found my ticket and had them make it. So yes the $ 50 order turned into over 200 by the time I factor in the 6 crew members standing and waiting on me to get them their lunch. Food awesome never can complain about the amazing chicken these guys do. The service or lack there if will make me rethink another visit at least to this location. read more

Limited menu might seem to be a drawback, but it means you know what to expect, and it'll be good. A good, fast chicken joint. Their cane's sauce is delicious, and who doesn't love garlic bread? As a first time Raising Canes eater I was excited. Every body was saying how amazing it was. My mom an I stopped in drive threw ordered dinner for three. It smelled so good. We got home I opened my box and almost cried. The chicken was dry the breading was soggy and falling off the chicken. ( I live 5 min away) Cole slaw was waaAy to sweet. Toast was so soggy I held it it straight up and wiggled it without breaking. The fries soggy as in none of this was cooked all the way. Needles to say I didn't eat this dinner. I won't be spending $10.00 on a meal here again. Needless to say I was very very disappointed. I wish I could give it a zero as one star is way to generous. read more

I am new to the area so my fiancé and I stopped in for dinner this past weekend after doing some work on our house. We were about to leave because the parking lot was packed and the drive thru looked super crazy, they even had people directing traffic in the lot. However, we decided to park and walk inside, we got a spot right by the door! Walking in, we were able to get right up to the register to order and there was plenty of seating indoors. They also had a nice amount of tables outside, but all were taken since it was a gorgeous day. The amount of workers hustling was insane, but that's good for the area, lots of jobs available! We each ordered our favorite: the box combo. It comes with four chicken fingers, fries, toast, slaw, and canes sauce with a drink. I always get no slaw and an extra toast instead along with an extra canes sauce because one is simply not enough! It is so tasty, I dip all the food in it. I always get a half n half (lemonade & iced tea) because their lemonade is amazing. We only waited less than 10 minutes for our food to come out. I was very impressed with the speed of the workers here and they were all very friendly. The chicken and fries were crispy and tender and the toast was nicely browned and buttered. This was my favorite canes experience ever and I'm so happy to live less than 10 minutes from here. Very well done!! read more

So I'll start out by saying I eat Caines at least once a week at varying locations around Ohio and usually get it for lunch while I'm working. I went to this location about 20 minutes before close on a Thursday night. I get what I get every single time a Caniac Combo. Upon taking the chicken home it has a very foul smell that I did not notice until after I took the first bite due to me being pretty hungry. Chicken "LOOKED" fine but had a very bad burnt oil taste. Couldn't even eat it and I love the chicken from here. I'm extremely disappointed and after working in the food industry myself previously I'm never eating here again because obviously the staff here does not pay attention to the quality control of the food. On the other hand staff was super friendly and did apologize for the wait time which I didn't mind and would of waited longer if I just had chicken that was edible.
