Their carry out and delivery are HORRIBLE!!! The packaging is horrible which results in greasy bags and ice cold food. There is no way to order ketchup or napkins and they do not give them, so never have it delivered if you are working or moving. No fountain drinks, only plastic bottles. What a shame. We absolutely LOVE Five Guys, and it was a treat to eat there today for my birthday month! I realize they do seem somewhat pricey since they're considered a "fast food" chain, but in my opinion there's just no comparison to the other popular fast food restaurants that we're all familiar with--rather, the food here is much more in line with the casual sit-down restaurants where you'll likely pay just as much (if not more) for a (quality) burger and fries. The food here is fresh, made in-house and to order, the beef is high quality, toppings are plentiful and free, and yes--they have the best Cajun fries around! (However, sadly, today I had to knock off a star ONLY because the fries were over-seasoned and extremely salty.) The two young gents working there were very friendly and accommodating, and the entire restaurant (bathrooms included) was very clean. Will we be back to Five Guys in Mentor, Ohio? The burgers are so good the fries too, but $16 for a jr burger and small fries is WAY to high. I don't mind paying for better quality but it's a cheeseburger and a small One at that. "It was so good my taste buds died!" -my son. After getting a killer haircut my son and I went in to Five Guys Burgers to have a man meal. Place is clean, well lit, decorated sparsely and no frills which is good. Led Zeppelin was playing in the background - which is a win automatically. The clerk took time to teach us about the menu and let us know that even though my little guy has big eyes he would probably do better with the little burger vs the regular burger. The regular burger comes with two patties the little burger comes with one patty. Good call on her part. We split a medium order of fries and got two drinks. The drinks of a new crazy interactive coke machines that everyone seems to be going to. It took about 5 minutes to get your burger which is actually really good considering everything is made fresh as you order it. Produce looked great, you can munch on peanuts while you wait, dining room is clean and well lit. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here. This place is about a mile down the street from another burger restaurant that I reviewed a little while back and I can easily see the other burger restaurant not lasting much longer with Five Guys Burgers in the neighborhood. read more

This is a chain, and I typically don't rate them. Basically, when you go into one, you know what you're going to get. I just wanted to say that the staff at this location are wonderful. They are friendly and the place is clean. Five guys make some wonderful burgers fries and shakes. If that's what you're craving, don't miss out! I've never tried one, but they do dogs as well. Foods good. But pickup order came out wrong. Cheeseburger was completely missing one of the patties. Called back to see what happened where the manager accused me of lying the whole time. Claimed that she made the burger herself and witnessed two being on it. Then when trying to find a future solution so it wouldn't happen again, she claimed the trainees for making the burger and that supposedly there were other burgers that were made like ours. Then just apologized and hung up on me. I hope they get their staffing worked out, whether being incompetent managers or ill experienced trainees. read more

But when you want to add a milkshake and they're still open (before closing hours) and they tell you "we're done for the night" and won't sell you a milkshake, that's poor customer service. I wish I could leave a one star. I normally don't leave bad reviews unless it's completely warranted. I ordered food here via UberEats and the food was picked up maybe ten minutes after closing. Upon arrival our UberEats driver immediately alerted us that the closing workers got ingredients out of the garbage can and used them in our order. I can't even explain how disgusting and vile that is to do that with someone's food. If our order couldn't be fulfilled you should have let us know. I am honestly hurt because now we have to look around for food after a very long day. We will be contacting necessary people to figure it out. read more

This place used to be awesome. The actually quality of the food itself is the same, but the way it's prepared is subpar. Me and my husband get Five Guys almost every Sunday night. The last three times we've gotten it, it's been horrible. The meat is so overcooked, the fries are salty, and the orders have been wrong. I know there's an issue with the quantity of staffing everywhere, but the issue here is definitely quality. They must not care at all. We got our weekly order tonight and yes, the fries were cold and super salty, the burgers were cold and dry, and they forgot to make our milkshakes, which was one of the main reasons why the food was cold. The fries used to be one the best parts of this place, but man, it seems like we've been getting more and more ends and small bits of fries. Not sure what's going on there. We're gonna take a Five Guys break for awhile. Get it together. You're losing loyal customers. read more

These people are f'in stupid. First off they give our order to someone else and send the delivery guy with the wrong order. They called me to let me know I thought ok at least they are fixing it. So I send the delivery guy back as instructed by the fella at five guys...40 mins later no food so I call he says oh yeah we re made your food but the door dash guy, Chad, said he didn't want to come back so passed it on to someone else that hasn't arrived yet! Like why the fuck would you not call me and let me know I would of come and picked it up myself. All in all the staff here are some of the dumbest mfs I ever spoke to. Really starting to get annoyed with this location. Anytime I go in I'm ask how many patties I will be getting without even starting my order. Now I understand that just by walking in the employees don't know that I'm ordering for more than one person but that shouldn't be assumed either. I also don't go unwrapping the burgers that aren't for me that I'm buying just to see how many patties there are. So please stop trying to save 10 seconds of cooking time and just wait until I say the burgers that I'm ordering to find out the number of patties. read more

Been to them out of the state many, many times and always loved them. Quick, simple, delicious... with awesome portions. All the toppings are free and you can get whatever you want on your burger... no limit. When I saw they put one in close to home I had to revisit because it had been years, and I was not disappointed. It was better than I remembered (which is probably because it had been so long). Double burger with bacon, jalapeños, and cheese... simple and amazing. The burgers come wrapped in foil and when you open that little shell on the inside is a melty, hot, delicious burger that will make your mouth sing. 1st time I have ever been to any 5 guys, it was a weekend during the day and we were able to walk right up and order. Ordering was straight forward and simple and the food was up in a few minutes tops, it was hot and fresh. The burgers were juicy ....like dripping all over the place juicy !! The burgers aren't bad but don't know what all the hoopla is about, they remind me a thick Steak and Shake burger only 3x's as much!! The fries were hot and plenty of them, and getting fires without salt was no problem. While eating the place starting filling up and the line moved SLOW . and then the place got loud .....for some reason they feel the need to YELL out food orders like some New York deli or something, I found this distracting annoying after a few minutes of the order taker barking out order #'s and what burger to make. Well first off, the prices alone are ridiculously high for the product. You'd think that 6.89 a cheeseburger would come with fries and a drink. Well it doesn't. And I could almost get over the prices if the food was as fantastic as I've heard it was. The cheeseburger was just an ordinary cheeseburger, definitely nothing special about it besides the choice of toppings. The bun was pretty doughy and soggy too as if it wasn't even baked all the way and the left in water to soak it. The fries were nothing to brag about either. Just ordinary fries, not the mention that my order of fries had half a potato in it just sitting in the middle of all my fries in the container. Obviously someone in the back was not doing their job. The pop machines were out of ice, the staff was notified and not one person refilled them the entire time I was there. The cleanliness of the restaurant is was atrocious. I get that people are eating peanuts there to pass the time of waiting but there was trash, crumbs, peanut shells, even used napkins all over the floor and the tables. And there was not one employee cleaning the tables or the trash up. The only good thing about this place is that the staff is actually quite friendly. The food isn't great, definitely not the best burger I've ever had and it's definitely not worth the price. I would never go back there. read more
