So far we've had the privilege of dealing with three doctors in this group. Dr. Lucia Fouts is my…read morewife's regular OB/Gyn, and has been great. She answers all my wife's (and my) questions without ever sounding patronizing/condescending or making us feel stupid. Her demeanor is very easygoing, but not aloof. This is a group that works together, so since Dr. Fouts wasn't on call, Dr. Haley delivered our first child, and Dr. Davis our second. As one of the nurses at Dupont Hospital said, "I can't think of a negative thing to say about any doctor in this group." In my opinion that's high praise from a labor and delivery nurse, especially one that doesn't work for these guys directly.

Then on the appointment day I got up early and was there 45 min early only to discover I left my ID and insurance card at home and they refused to see me. Politics of our "medical care" today. So I litally flew back home and got back with the cards exactly on time and they said there was nothing they could do but reschedule. I told them how horribly stressful this is and the only day I had. Then I asked if someone could tell me what to do if it falls out. Finally someone came back and told me to just push it back in. No forgiveness from them and I have no forgiveness for them.

I had the worst experience at this office. I scheduled an appointment and was told to be there 15…read moreminutes early. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and then waited in line to check in for almost 10 minutes. After taking all my information,, so they could be sure to charge me, they informed me that the doctor would not see me and I would have to reschedule because I was late. I asked them how I was supposed to control the amount of time I had to wait in line to which they begrudgingly went to check with the doctor if he would see me. They came back and said he will see you but it will be quite a wait because he is already behind. I understand emergencies come up in an office like this, however it was a bad way to start off as a new patient. The practice is huge and its clear they don't need anyones business. If that was how the treatment was going to start off I didn't have a lot of hope it would get any better from there.

Two stars only because the Doctor who performed my emergency C-section did well. Had a urinalysis done and a swab and was told that they would have results shortly and get ahold of me. I called the following day and they had told me that it takes a few days to get results back but they would get in touch once those results came in (I was told by the NP that my urinalysis results would be in by the end of my appointment but the nurse assistant didn't say anything about it to me before leaving).. 6 days after my initial visit, I called again and asked for my results and was told what was going on and that they would recommend medication. I asked if that medication would be ok for breast feeding and was told yes. Went to my pharmacy and was told that Clindamycin should not be used when breastfeeding because the baby would be consuming it as well.. I can't tell if it's laziness or the lack of education at this point. I would have been better off going to urgent care than coming back to this place. The fact I had to call to get my results, can't access the portal they set up for me, and had to be in discomfort for days and waste my time going to the pharmacy only to be told that the information the nurse had given me was incorrect is mind boggling. As a medical professional, if I am not 100% certain I have the correct answer -I will research or ask someone who does. Sure enough, I called my normal Doctor and was prescribed something else because he agreed that Clindamycin should not be used. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.

I almost died while under the care of Thomas Lorenc in 2012. I was expecting my first child and…read morewas experiencing high blood pressure and weight gain. Lorenc sent me for a preeclampsia test. The test showed I did not have preeclampsia so he gave prescription for a blood pressure medicine. My family noticed I had severe edema and asked me to go into the hospital. Lorenc decided for me to have a C-section that evening. Shortly after I had my child I was rushed to the surgical ICU for congestive heart failure and pulmonary edema. I was under that care of an amazing cardiologist for 1 year and was released from his care in May of 2013 with a full recovery. My family pressured me to switch doctors but I decided to stay with Locenc, which was a terrible decision on my part. I went to see Lorenc 06/2016 for an issue with my menstrual cycle. I decided to have a uterine ablation which is normally an office procedure. Lorenc was requiring me to go to the hospital of his choice not mine and required a surgical clearance form for my heart issue. My cardiologist stated they would sign the form stating that I was release from there care in 2013 with a full recovery. Lorenc would not expect this form. Then the form was sent to my oncologist who signed and returned the form. Dr. Lorenc has now released me from his practicing stating that I refused to cooperate with his process. While under the care of Lorenc has been by far THE WORST MEDICIAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD DEALING WITH THE MAN WHO ALMOST LET ME AND MY UNBORN CHILD DIE IN HIS CARE.
