I had the worst experience at this office. I scheduled an appointment and was told to be there 15 minutes early. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and then waited in line to check in for almost 10 minutes. After taking all my information,, so they could be sure to charge me, they informed me that the doctor would not see me and I would have to reschedule because I was late. I asked them how I was supposed to control the amount of time I had to wait in line to which they begrudgingly went to check with the doctor if he would see me. They came back and said he will see you but it will be quite a wait because he is already behind. I understand emergencies come up in an office like this, however it was a bad way to start off as a new patient. The practice is huge and its clear they don't need anyones business. If that was how the treatment was going to start off I didn't have a lot of hope it would get any better from there. read more

Two stars only because the Doctor who performed my emergency C-section did well. Last Tuesday I went in for a walk in appointment because my Doctor had 3 deliveries that day and couldn't fit me in. I was only 2 weeks post op, having some issues. Had a urinalysis done and a swab and was told that they would have results shortly and get ahold of me. I called the following day and they had told me that it takes a few days to get results back but they would get in touch once those results came in (I was told by the NP that my urinalysis results would be in by the end of my appointment but the nurse assistant didn't say anything about it to me before leaving).. 6 days after my initial visit, I called again and asked for my results and was told what was going on and that they would recommend medication. I asked if that medication would be ok for breast feeding and was told yes. Went to my pharmacy and was told that Clindamycin should not be used when breastfeeding because the baby would be consuming it as well.. I can't tell if it's laziness or the lack of education at this point. I would have been better off going to urgent care than coming back to this place. The fact I had to call to get my results, can't access the portal they set up for me, and had to be in discomfort for days and waste my time going to the pharmacy only to be told that the information the nurse had given me was incorrect is mind boggling. As a medical professional, if I am not 100% certain I have the correct answer -I will research or ask someone who does. Sure enough, I called my normal Doctor and was prescribed something else because he agreed that Clindamycin should not be used. Would highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I think the standing in line to register is unusual they use to give you the paperwork and have you take a seat there were several women in line with me and if pregnant that might get uncomfortable but other wise it is clean beautifully decorated and I have only had 2 appointments with Tracy Bellavance but I feel like I made a great choice she has a incredible bedside manner and speaks directly to you and answers all of my questions very gentle also talked to me about thing's I did not know about with women's bodies. The Ultrasound lady was also amazing gentle and explained everything she was doing. The nurse that checked me into the room also was aware of my blood pressure situation and does a great job. Over all wonderful experience. read more

Dr. Mincks is an incredible doctor. She is very knowledgeable. I appreciate her good bedside manner and will recommend her to anyone needing an OB/GYN doctor. Each visit has short wait times as well. read more

The scheduling department at Women's Health Advantage is absolutely terrible! My daughter, who is a high risk patient, met with a doctor there and was told when she became pregnant to call the office and she would be seen immediately. However, when she called to make the appointment, the scheduler was rude (as they typically are). I understand there are protocols they follow, and that typically you're not seen until 12 weeks, but even after she said she is only doing what the doctor instructed, (she) was terribly rude, and, begrudgingly set an appointment for 1pm. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, she walked up and inquired when she'd be seen and was only then told that doctor doesn't come in until 2pm. The next incident she had with scheduling was after she received a phone call from the nurse that told her she needed an ultrasound, and gave her the date she needed it, then transferred her to scheduling. Once again, scheduling argued with her. My daughter told the scheduler she was only doing what she was told from the nurse. To which, the scheduler put her on hold, then came back and rudely gave her ONE date and ONE time and told her that was her only option. I had 9 miscarriages and lots of infertility problems, and one thing that helped me get through it all was my OB doctor and her staff that were kind, compassionate and very caring. (She has since retired) What degree do these schedulers have that overrules the doctor and/or nurse?? What is it they do all day that makes them so bitter?? How do they not understand that the person on the other end could be going through a traumatic experience and one nice word or action could make a difference? At this point my daughter likes her doctor so she will stay at Women's Health Advantage, but in the meantime I'm looking for a different group just in case she calls me in tears again! read more

The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because the doctor was amazing! Other than him, I will probably be looking for a new place to see my OB. The staff was rude, they asked me for my SSN right in front of other patients. Mind you, this was my first appointment there (new insurance) and they gave me no assurance of what they were doing. Not to mention having to get a prescription for my birth control (it's an injection they have to do in the office), pick up my prescription from the pharmacy, and schedule ANOTHER appointment to get the injection, this is ridiculous! I am disgusted by the treatment I received here. The doctor I went to made me feel like a number, and not concerned about issues I had going on. I, too, was dropped from this establishment for no apparent reason. I had to sign for a letter in the mail that stated no reason for dropping me. I DO NOT recommend this place of business for one to go to. read more

Between an overly aggressive gyno that made my wife cry twice by forcing checks against her will (apparently he's now been removed) to the inability to call a prescription in not just once, but twice in a row, it's hard to be be overly excited. Some really good doctors work there, unfortunately the rest of the experience has led to this comment. read more

I was dropped entirely from the practice per the CEO. I was never given a reason as to why. I used the patient advocate services that were suggested heavily by their own employees due to the lack of care I received. I NEVER filled out new patient paperwork, was prescribed medication by Dr.Emmary Butler when I did NOT need it. (per another physician at a different practice, who was able to provide valid reasoning why it was unnecessary as well lazy on her (Dr.Butler's part) Especially since I already have tubal & she never waited for my bloodwork, she just prescribed medication that was unneeded as well as it conflicted with my other medication. A nurse told me exactly where supposed abnormal cells were EXACTLY located yet I NEVER had a colposcopy with them, only a pap. No one was able to explain how or why the nurse would even say that, so we don't know if those were even my pathology results, but yet they wanted to do a biopsy. I wasn't allowed to discuss more than 3 things with my physician at my annual visit. I was told by the supervisor of the patient advocates Nikki (sp?) That I WOULD get a call back, but instead I received a certified letter via mail that I was dropped from the entire practice & when I called I was told that no one was allowed to discuss anything other than where to send my prior medical records to. I never once became irate, rude or remotely confrontational . In fact I shed a few tears. So, not only am I treated as an inconvenience by my Dr. I'm then told that they wont be finding me another Dr. & that I'm not even able to return, yet I did NOTHING except report the misdoings that were happening. Guess that's REALLY what the patient advocate service is about..... To weed out the patients. read more

This morning I was called for the SECOND time the DAY before my scheduled appointment to reschedule MONTHS out. This is absolutely ridiculous and most of all very inconsiderate. I drive an hour to go to these appointments and have to clear my work schedule to be there. I have decided to leave this office and not even switch to another one of their doctors.
