Took sweater to store( located 45+ miles from my home) employee said the owner has to deal with it so I left my number . Owner never called so I called once again to see what would be done. Another run around and they said they would call me back. Once again no call back so I call make contact again. Owner said his rep from adidas is in Vegas so nothing can be done until he gets in touch with him. Weeks go by no call. I call to see If owner is available ( once again NO) and employee tells me he can do nothing because it's his last day. So today over a month and a half later since purchase I call to see if they are gonna do anything and they put it on owner once again(unavailable ,shocker) when I tell employee that I've never had a business give me such a run around In my life . He tells me it's not his problem and precedes to become a little cocky. I tell him that they have 24 hrs to get in touch with me or I'll call a lawyer . He tells me I cannot say that and that I'm out of line . Really ? Over 2 mo. Of my communicating with no reply and I'm in wrong. Needless to say I'm still out 60+ dollars for what could be a bootlegged sweater with crumbling letters. Do not shop here with confidence . Amateur business owners with horrible customer service and return policies. Better off spending money at a national store or via the internet.

What can I say about South Bend? It's been my go to location for a day trip for decades. It's a…read moreconvenient place with the mall they are only 45 mintues away. I know a few locals and they are the only reason I know of more unique places around the South Bend/Mishawaka area. I have grown to love the area and the small businesses. Whether it's pizza at Mimmos or getting nerdy at Fantasy Games, I feel at home here in South Bend. If I could recommend one event that allows you to experience South Bend would be checking out the farmers market or checking out the events downtown (there is a Facebook page called 'downtown South Bend' that has events so you can put them on your schedule). The farmers markets highlights local farm fresh businesses. The downtown events highlight the downtown businesses, and you'll enjoy going to those (trust me).

While I do agree that the new mayor is a…read moreplus, and knocking down those 1000 houses was a good step , this still is a city on the ropes. Putting a homeless center near the heart of town was a great idea; thank you Notre Dame and Lou Nani. Now we all get to deal with panhandlers hanging out in front of the public library bumming money and smokes. It attracts other marginalized people from other towns. And lets not forget the new bike lane going into the "hood" down Lincolnway West. The city took away a lane for bikers? Who in their right minds would ride a bike in that area? Have you been down Huey or Fremont or any of the streets south of Elwood? As I am 54, I can remember when downtown actually had real businesses, like J.C. Penny's, and Robertson's, Sears , the State Theater was open and showed movies that were current. The way this town gives benefits for the sick, the needy, and all types of charity organizations makes us seem like a wealthy town indeed. Funny how in reality most working people are struggling to make payments and basic necessities, yet we have a large contingent of citizens who are getting help and housing and free food while not having a job nor looking. We have career beggars on the street corners, holding signs that say will work for food, yet refuse to mow my lawn for money, just wanting it handed to them instead. This town needs to toughen up, as a whole, and quit letting a few whiners call the tune for the many. Like the proposed smoking ban. is that really the most important thing the city council has on its' agenda? Get the beggars off the street, and they wonder why we are called a depressed, dying city. The new buildings by the river are a very idealistic cornerstone of a great downtown, but downtown needs to be made safe first. It is dangerous to walk around downtown after 10 o'clock at night. And the baseball thing is good, but that is also in a dead part of town. Mishawaka, on the other hand, is brimming with positiveness; 5 or 6 nite-clubs within 3 blocks of each other, great eateries not owned by the same family, and it is SAFE! No beggars! They too have river lights. Lets stop naming things after defunct businesses ( Ignition Park), and stop enabling those working the system. I want to feel proud of my home town, but to do so I have to been honest about it first. P.S. I do hope the City Council will continue to improve , having purged itself at last of a member who was an embarrassment to all most of the time. Baby steps!

I remembered the first time I visited this place I and saw their cute merchandise and trinkets I knew I had to come back. The merchandise they carry is similar to Hobby Lobby, or T.J. Maxx's merchandise for home decor, gifts and trinkets except more unique and a tad bit more expensive. But I love anything unique that's not mass produced with that unique personal touch. But a lot of their merchandise are marked higher than most places. They have a nice variety of selections from jewelry, to baby gifts, home decor, snacks, cute pens and pencils for the office, etc... But if your gift shopping for someone and want a special non generic gift or looking for something unique for yourself and for your home this is the place to go. Their merchandise also comes in different styles from contemporary to traditional pieces which appeals to different tastes. Awesome!!! And their shop is coordinated by color. Sometimes they have discount specials... where if your first or last name starts with a certain letter in the alphabet you save 20%, and they also have a rewards card. Once that's filled up you can save money, but otherwise when shopping there just expect to shell out some extra cash. This is one cutest gift shops I've been to. I go here even if I'm not visiting someone in the hospital. But because this place is located in a hospital parking can be hard to find. But I recommend checking this place out.
