I didn't wear them but when I checked the fit in March, 2016...they were the wrong size. I took them back and got an equal exchange for the correct size. Again, I did not wear them until my cruise in December, 2016. After two days of wearing them, I had huge blisters and the pain was terrible. I tried wearing two pair of socks, bandages, pads, using ointment, antibacterial ointment and wearing a different pair of shoes. Once I got home, I didn't wear them for almost a month. The blisters started to heal although the skin was peeling from both feet for weeks. I tried them again this week and after an hour, I could feel the burning and see the blisters coming on again. I took them back today in the original box with the original receipt and asked what the store could do for me. They took the shoes back, credited me with the full price. I picked out a pair just like I had before and got $36 back on my credit card because the new ones were cheaper! Now that is customer service! I have purchased New Balance shoes from this store for several years and never had a problem. I think something in the material of the inner shoe might have triggered this reaction.

We ended up leaving with a beautiful picture of the Grotto, a pillow for our dog, a T-shirt for our son, one for me, and one for my husband. On top of all that, they even helped us with something completely unrelated--pointing us toward a few places nearby where we could look for a bookcase we needed. Being there feels more like being in a women's prison rather than a shoe store.
