Rally's is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. The seasoned fries are my favorite. This location uses AI in the drive-thru, which is a bit of an inconvenience, but I understand it's because they are usually short-staffed. I should have recognized that the place had changed. There was no double long line ordering. The great lunch combo is gone. I tried to order the 2 for... combo and the price was $17. I tried to correct, but I got an Indian guy that I could barely understand. The man blew off what I was trying to tell him about the price being wrong. I took my order and left... big mistake. I took my food to my mom's and found out the order was wrong (not even matching the outside slip). They gave a fish sandwich versus a rally burger. Cooperate marketing is waisted when the signage doesn't match the price when ordering. I get frustrated when the employee can not speak clearly. What should have been a cheap quick lunch was ruined by greed and incompetence. Rally's seemed to be blown away with the previous cheap lunch special and now rebounded with higher price that the people are not even willing to give to customers. This location is going from bad to worse. Don't go to this Rally's while the morning crew is on shift. The guy who took my order is completely scatter brained. I asked if the $5 Pretzel meal came in a BBQ version. He proceeded to ring up the order as though it did and then told me the price was $12 and change. I asked, "How is a $5 meal deal $12 dollars?" He said, "This is the BBQ Buford meal", not at all what I remotely ordered. I proceeded to confirm that the $5 pretzel meal doesn't have a BBQ version? He confirmed it does not. So then why did he ring in some random other meal? I switched. I told him I wanted the BBQ Bacon chicken sandwich, sandwich only. It was $6 and some change. I paid. He handed me the sandwich in a bag and I left. When I get home and open the package, it just a very plain chicken sandwich without bacon or BBQ sauce or anything related to what I ordered. He didn't even give me a receipt. The sandwich was bland and cardboard. Horrible service from a horrible crew. Don't visit this location. If you do, check everything you order thoroughly for accuracy while still there, especially with this scatter brained crew. Oh, and don't expect to leave any kind of complaint for this company. They don't pick up the phone. They don't have a website for feedback. This is a fly-by-night company that will take your money, but deliver you garbage. read more

I've visited this place a few times. I discovered it last year when a friend and I were trying to decide where to eat at 10 PM, with not much open. We noticed there was a Rally's near campus, and since neither of us had ever tried it before, we decided to give it a shot. Since then, I've never had a bad experience. I always order the Big Buford burger with a large fry, and sometimes I add bacon to it. Overall, I really enjoy going there. Occasionally, the service has its off days, and I've experienced slow lines, but most of the time, I'm in and out within 10 minutes. The drive-thru usually has a couple of cars waiting, which helps keep the place busy. Overall, I like going to Rally's. The food is good, and the people at the drive-thru are usually friendly. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a burger! read more

Always great customer service and your food is made to order The employees are very kind and always go above and beyond to build a conversation with you. I have never been displeased with our order. Fries are always super fresh. You never have to ask. My order is always made correctly. Went to order through the drive thru, and ordered at the speaker box which was AI. Went to order meals but they showed up as if they could combine them into a meal combo for the night price. I was met with a nicer guy who said he would grab someone, this someone turned out to be very rude. I was met with a horrible attitude, the AI was confusing and didn't understand what I was saying. Have had numerous bad experiences with this Rally, from their drive thru for mobile orders to today's experience. First the mobile order drive thru...you'd think the order placed ahead of time would be quicker than orders in the regular drive thru line....wrong. I don't even order online any more because it's the worst trying to get my order in under 10 minutes, while 3-4 cars are serviced in the regular drive thru line. And today, I paid over $11 for a chicken sandwich and cold fries. I asked for extra mayo for my sandwich, and was told they don't have mayo...it is on the sandwich, so that's a lie...then she said they didn't have mayo in packets, so I asked if they could put a little in a small cup for something & she says "sure, that will be .75 cents." They charge me over $8 for a sandwich and can't give me a little more mayo, because they never put enough on the sandwich, it's always very dry. I'm so over Rally's, too many other options in this area for lunch. read more

Occasionally, I have to have Rally's hot, perfectly seasoned fries. Also, possibly the best fast food hamburger is here. This place is quick, putting the fast back into fast food AND getting the order correct. At noon! I'm sure the owner here could make more money teaching other fast food restaurants his/her methods. I came through the drive through and placed my order. They made it in almost no time at all. I ate my burger and I would have to say it's honestly the best burger I've had in awhile. New ownership has definitely made a difference in service. Used to be the employees were all stoned, rude, and just didn't give a shit. Now, orders are correct, come out quickly, and people are nice. Used to be, you'd place your order, and they'd tell you to pull over and park out of line, even if you were the only one IN line. 15 minutes later, they'd still out with your food. Or most of it. The smell that came from the woman that took my card was disgusting, how someone who handles people food can have such poor personal hygiene and that it is allowed is astonishing. The food is great like really good but have had a pretty consistent problem of when I go there late at night like 11:30 or later I get told they are closed despite hours on the window saying open till 2. Screw the burgers, the fries are INSANE. Growing up in New Orleans, this was always a family favorite. It also helped that there was one right down the street. So now that I live in Kansas City, this is one of the few chains that I sorely miss. If not for Popeyes, there's no way I could survive in KC that long. Rallys falls just three grass shreds under it. The restaurants are typically more run down the more I get the chance to stop by and visit them. At the same time, the quality of the food has not changed. Although I have never really been crazy about their burgers (The Big Buford is okay), their fries are what really steals the show. Hot, crispy and battered, they are a thing of joy. And absolutely addictive at that. No matter how many times I come to the STL area, it is a ritual for me to go to Rallys and at least get a huge order of fries. Place was okay, but guy in the night time drive thru came off a little rude. So we were in line and counting change for our total bill, now I understand that fast food places have "time limits" for their employees for their management for the record of keeping the business "good" or for raises and such, but telling your customer "Nevermind, just fuck it I got a guy waiting behind you" is not very professional. I'm not sure wether to be mad at the rude comment (that could've been said in a more professional and/or less rude way), or glad that I didn't have to pay .83 cents (which may I mention) for a medium fry which wasn't even full and not even half full of fries. If this guy was a manager, he needs better training on patient or what he says to customers and to stop worrying about that extra .50 cent pay raise from the time limit of serving customers, and be less rude next time. Stopped by Rally's the other day. I wasn't terribly hungry and was in the area, so I decided to redeem a coupon from the 2014 Entertainment Book for a free order of small fries. I pull up to the drive thru and see a dual drive thru (which I see are becoming more popular nowadays). I was going to go through the left lane, until I realized it didn't really go anywhere. It didn't look as though I would approach a window, and if I did get up to a window, the employees would be on the passenger side of my car. Hmm. So, I back up, go through the right lane, and place my order. The lady at the window greets me with "You have to pay 11 cents." No "hi," "how are you?" or even confirmation of my order. I fumble through my change to pay (which I wasn't expecting to do). Yes, I realize about tax -- just seems odd -- when I get a free item with item(s) I purchase frequently, my total isn't higher. But I digress... The fries were horrible. They looked horrible, were bland, and some were greasier than others. They didn't taste seasoned at all. I only ate them to get my 11 cents worth! I am thankful I did not experience an upset tummy later that evening! Between the customer service, quality of fries, and upkeep of the building (it shows its age), it's doubtful I will be back. Tried the Rallys again recently and fared a little bit better. The pros: friendly staff, quick service, and some damn good chicken strips and fries. The cons: The drive through and parking lot are too cramped to navigate well and the building looks junky and run down. They don't serve tea. There's always drunk riff raff hanging around. But if you've had some drinks and have the munchies have your taxi drive thru Rallys, it's good drunk food. read more

For 10 years I have visited this location. Over the past 2-3 years it has gone downhill. Last night in the drive through with only 1 car ahead of me (who got 1 sack of food), it took 20 YES 20 minutes to get my food. The response when I complained, "well our bun toaster is broken"... I visited the drive through on 6-1-16 at 7:10 PM. Once I paid I was asked to pull around and park and they would bring my food to me. When I pulled around I noticed two other cars waiting. After 23 minutes of waiting the parking lot was full of customers waiting for their food orders. Once the lady can outside Everyone left their vehicles and approached. The employee handed me a bag with the wrong order to me (she didn't have the correct sandwich so I left). They were slow and rude and the excuse was "you waz waitin on fries".
