Pretty cool sports bar! The menu has soups, salads and pretty much all the bar food and drinks you can think of. The food came out pretty quickly and the bartender was very attentive. The appetizer was big enough for two to share. And the hot wings had a major kick! I'll surely be going back!

Tay was my server! Upon walking in you seat yourself. Once I found seating I had a 10 min wait and was approached. Building is more of a slab. Long and straight all the way to back . Back area was having a party. Restroom was basic and clean. For drink I ordered an Angry Orchard Cider and 5 flats hot and onion rings. Food came out under 20 minutes and was hot and fresh. Pricing was reasonable. Tay was attentive. I will definitely return.

Stopped by here after climbing with a group of friends. Food was decent, big portions for the price. I did find it a bit salty though. Server is nice but it took forever for them to come to our table to take our order and bring our cheque. I wouldn't mind coming back here again but won't be the first place I would think of going to.

I decided to do another review at this establishment because they are always consistent with their food and service. Another factor is how reasonably priced the food is, and the ambiance is top notch for friendly Staff and Patrons. Again, they get 5 stars and 2 thumb up :)

Memphis fries, buffalo chicken wrap, and pretzel with beer cheese

The food was delicious, the buffalo sauce in the wrap was amazing, and the pretzel was super soft, fluffy, and hot and the cheese was steaming! The waiter was attentive, and checked on us frequently. The overall vibe was chill, laid back, bar atmosphere. We were thoroughly impressed.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Tots

I have never had a bad experience at Big A's. Whenever I go, I always get the buffalo chicken wrap and tots. This is one of my favorite places to get a buffalo chicken wrap, and I recommend it to everyone looking for one. The service is always fine, and the bar atmosphere makes it an easy, laid-back meal.

Located on the very north of Main Street in Saint Charles, this American bar/pub is sure to please. Great for lunch, dinner, or just for a refreshing beverage. The fried chicken was moist and crispy. They have two size burgers, 4oz and 8oz. The toasted ravioli disappeared instantly. The service was great. If you are in Saint Charles, it is worth the stop. Enjoy!

Ask for dry rub wings....very tasty and do the 1/2 price happy hour with $2 bottles a drafts. Can't beat Big A's!

Great burgers, grilled chicken, Spinach salad ( my favorite!), dry rub chicken wings and ice cold beer on Historic Main Street make this a local must go in St. Charles, Mo.

We had never been here for food before so we decided to give it a try. We arrived and sat at the bar. We were not greeted until about ten minutes after sitting. We ordered cheese sticks, taco salad and a buffalo wrap. The cheese sticks were great. The taco salad did not taste fresh and the buffalo wrap was awful. We couldn't get our bartender back as it appeared they were in the middle of a shift change. So we asked another bartender for our check. We barely took two bites out of our food. No one asked us to get a to go box, if something was wrong etc. We felt like a burden. We will not be returning....at least for the food.

&My friend and I stopped in to big A's to have a meal. We had several things brought to our table to try for this review. After reading several positive reviews, we found that during our dining experience. The food was not up to standards.. we ordered the combo appetizer platter $ 16, Cindy ordered a chicken wrap $14 while I ordered the Philly cheese steak. $ 14. The potato skins were badly overcooked, the toasted ravs were tasteless, best thing about the appetizer platter was the jalapeño poppers.the service was average for a Monday. My Philly cheesteak was luke warm and my friends chicken wrap came to us cold. That along with the table we sat down at was needing cleaned as we sat down, made me feel that i am not able to recommend this restaurant.

My favorite establishment on Main Street!! We've been coming here for probably close to 20+ years!!! Great place to meet friends for drinks and/or dinner! Lots of menu choices from burgers to flatbreads to wings to grilled chicken to one of the tastiest spinach salads around! The Memphis dry rub seasoning is great on grilled chicken, fries, or wings! Servers are usually very attentive and friendly! This place is often our "go to!"

Does Big A's have Happy hour?

As far as I know, they never re-instated their Happy Hour after the temporary closure due to Covid. It is a great establishment, with tasty food--my favorite on Main Street!

It was our first time in - we bellied up to the bar, where there were drink menus and a food menus for the browsing. We were advised to order at "the window" for food (clever) & did so. (Reviewed separately) The barkeep walked us through some of his favorites. I opted for the orange cream (sour spin) & found it to be absolutely delicious. The beer was nicely balanced, not too sweet or sour & no strange tastes. The hubby was very happy with his as well. We'll certainly stop in next time we're in town to try a few more & maybe grab some cooler beer!

Even though it was late afternoon, mid-week, and there were only a handful of people spread across maybe three other tables, the noise level was already unbearable. Why? Because the bartender apparently believed the entire restaurant was his personal stage. For several minutes, he loudly held court with four patrons, dropping F bombs (wow!), shouting over the empty room, showing off his tattoos and then literally pulling his pants down a bit to display more of them. Omfg There was a complete lack of awareness, professionalism, or respect for the rest of the space - or anybody in it. We gave the other side, a try, but with the doors open and the echo-chamber type acoustics, he was inescapable. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of the food or beer, which I was very excited about before we walked in, as the environment alone made it impossible to stay. A brewery restaurant should feel welcoming and FUN - not like you've wandered into someone else's personal, loud, awkward hangout. This was a hard pass - and we thoroughly enjoyed splitting a full rack of ribs at the BBQ joint just down the interstate.

We reserved a court for two hours for our Teenage twins and some adult friends to celebrate the Twins Birthday. The facility is Large, well outfitted , fairly clean but sports a curious lack of shade or awnings or umbrellas outside. We found Check in and it was fine and they dropped us off on our court . We were supposed to get the shaded table in front of our court but no one told us it was ours and a rather aggressive family was occupying our shady set up. Service is nonexistent, they are nice but thin in ranks and disorganized and overwhelmed. We finally figured it out and got someone to move the aggressive family. They had words for us. I explained we were first timers and didn't know and even offered to share the shade best we could, but they were mad. Not our fault to be put in this difficult situation. After 20 minutes someone came by for our order we put in for appetizers , drinks and food. We were told we would need to order part of it from other staff because they only served drinks, and appetizers. Let me wrap this up by saying the drinks finally came after 30 minutes and we were never offered more until an hour later. We grabbed a waitress as asked about our food. She said," oh we are two hours behind." What? The food finally came at the 1 hour 45 minute mark with the (cold) appetizers following in a few minutes later. Parched we ran and got our own water but the jug went empty and they were also out of cups. Time was running out now. We ate our cold appetizers and tried to find someone to close the bill out. Guess what ? We waited and They never came! We turned our equipment in and now turn our backs on this big fancy corporate mess! I'm not going to add our pictures as I don't want any innocent family with kids to try this place. It needs a whole management redo, If we want to play pickle ball we will seek something else.
