It was our first time in - we bellied up to the bar, where there were drink menus and a food menus for the browsing. We were advised to order at "the window" for food (clever) & did so. (Reviewed separately) The barkeep walked us through some of his favorites. I opted for the orange cream (sour spin) & found it to be absolutely delicious. We walk in the door with 3-humans and 1- service animal (with identification on). * Manager on duty: "If you have a dog you need to sit in the room." *points to private dining space where no other patron is sitting, the room has the lights off, all the chairs are on the tables, and the heat is off* * Me: "Pardon? This is a service dog, and we'd like to sit with everyone else." * Manager on duty: "If you have a dog, you need to sit in this room, because we have a kitchen area in the main dining area." * Me: "Okay, but this is trained service animal and we would like to sit in the same space as everyone else." * Manager on duty: "These are the food and beverage regulations." ... he is now saying something even more asinine than before, clearly not understanding that the ADA exists for inclusion purposes. We did not want to argue with this man any further, as his attitude and lack of knowledge was already frustrating enough. The Manager on duty turned on the lights in the room, and then had the audacity to leave the room, while my boyfriend was left taking chairs off the table so we would have a place to sit. We stayed for about 45-minutes, ordered food and had a beer. Prior to us leaving my boyfriend's mom (who frequents this place and even helped them stay open during COVID with purchases and donations) went to have a conversation with the Manager to help clear things up and educate him a bit... he responded to her with, "There are no exceptions, a dog is a dog." To the owners of Third Wheel Brewing: I am truly saddened and disappointed in the lack of empathy, education, and understanding of individuals who need accommodations, and use service animals. I would HIGHLY recommend you provide additional education and training to your staff about ADA regulations, and the treatment of patrons in relation to such. While at times, certain accommodations are acceptable, this one was isolating and intentionally exclusionary. Please do better. read more

Been coming to TWB for years! Service is always friendly. The usually have a hard cider on tap (gluten friendly). This time it was a peach cider - really crisp and sweet. They offer a variety of events like beer bingo on thurs (free), one Sunday a month for Sips n Spins (album dj), and special seasonal events. Came out to check out the Mock'n'Roll and enjoy some local music with the bf. Band was phenomenal and really fun! Lead singer also happens to bartend here so make sure to come to support him when he isn't on stage slaying the guitar. Food was really good, we ordered their Window Wings, STL Af Ravioli and the Beer cheese BBQ Pork Nachos. Loved the wings, ravioli was a smaller portion size of (3) but wow the flavor was so good! Favorite dish of the night was the nachos... they didn't skimp on the toppings and that pork was perfect. Place had some nice character and ambiance on the inside. Bartenders were attentive and offered samples. We settled on our beers and ordered the fish and chips from the window. I regretted not ordering one of the salads with chicken as someone picked up 2 and they were huge and delicious looking. But fish and chips were ready after about 15 minutes and were very hot and fresh. Good tasting and decent sized. Next time I think I would try a burger or the salads, but was happy with the fish and chips. Would definitely recommend for food and beer and would come back again for sure! read more

The bar and restaurant were nice and clean. There is an easy going and friendly atmosphere. Music was on but not blaring. I don't know about you but I really hate it when I can't carry on a conversation with the person I am dining with because of the "background" music being too loud. The food from The Window was delicious. And the beer was cold, it hit the spot on this hot summer afternoon. Caught a glimpse of their salad, it was huge! I was in St Louis for the day and stopped in here for lunch on the way out of town. Food was good and I ended up taking half a wrap home with me for later. There are a bunch of beer options and syrups that can be added to those beers. The location has a very large hall that you can rent out for events and the main bar area is also very large. I walked in expecting a relaxed birthday dinner and walked out five minutes later with zero desire to ever return. The place is cavernous, with absolutely nothing to absorb sound. Even though it was late afternoon, mid-week, and there were only a handful of people spread across maybe three other tables, the noise level was already unbearable. Why? Because the bartender apparently believed the entire restaurant was his personal stage. For several minutes, he loudly held court with four patrons, dropping F bombs (wow!), shouting over the empty room, showing off his tattoos and then literally pulling his pants down a bit to display more of them. Omfg There was a complete lack of awareness, professionalism, or respect for the rest of the space - or anybody in it. We gave the other side, a try, but with the doors open and the echo-chamber type acoustics, he was inescapable. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of the food or beer, which I was very excited about before we walked in, as the environment alone made it impossible to stay. A brewery restaurant should feel welcoming and FUN - not like you've wandered into someone else's personal, loud, awkward hangout. This was a hard pass - and we thoroughly enjoyed splitting a full rack of ribs at the BBQ joint just down the interstate. read more

The seating was spacious, with large tables and plenty of people throwing back beers and snacking on pub food. The staff was inviting, friendly, with big smiles and a strong midwest nice energy. I tried their St. Peters Porter and Scotch Eggs, the porter was a perfect blend of somewhat sweet, but not too sweet, and bitter with a chocolate aroma, truly well crafted, the scotch eggs were well seasoned and perfectly balanced on the cook, the pork was nice a warm but not burnt, breading crispy and not too hard, and the eggs whites soft and chewy with a nice creamy center, it's surprising how few can make great scotch eggs and Third Wheel Brewing nails it. read more

They give out free beers and beer-related prizes, and someone in the group almost always wins. Definitely worth checking out on those nights. The pretzels are a highlight, served with beer cheese and honey mustard, and the wings and gravy fries are pretty good too. The nachos, however, were disappointing--no one at the table really enjoyed them. I've bee meaning to try Third Wheel Brewing since they offered a tasting at Barrel Blends a few months ago. The lot was pretty full when we arrived but they have a large dining room so seats were available. You order beverages at the bar and food at the kitchen. Plenty of beers on tap to choose from. Canned beers and growler fills to go. Pricing is reasonable. The kitchen serves a variety other than usual bar foods with a few fun variations. We ordered the Buffalo Wings, a Cubano sandwich and the Fried onions. The wings are meaty and the sauce was good. The sandwich had a generous amount of ham and pork. The fried onions are thinly sliced onions dusted with flour and fried. The house made sauce is tasty and spicy. They also serve cocktails. They use Cardinal Vodka. I tried a flight of beers, Clutch It Pilsner, Gotta Have It IPA, Orbital Contusion Black IPA and Inner Saboteur Imperial Double IPA and a pint of Trixie Pale Ale. All are worth trying. I love black IPAs but the Inner saboteur was my favorite. read more

And to complement the brews, ordered hand-made Ravs, filled with smoked pork steak, cherry bbq, ricotta and parmigiana cheeses served with house smoked marinara - excellent! Also enjoyed the Reuben, with house cured beer braised corn beef, beer-soaked sauerkraut, gruyere and house-made Russian dressing; sandwich was good on dark rye, however a little heavy in saltiness flavor for me. The Window at Third Wheel Brewing serves up good food with an interesting twist. I'd tried it before and enjoyed it but since it had been a while, I ordered the PB&J Burger. It's a good size burger topped with house-made peanut butter and a house-made strawberry jelly. It's a tasty and interesting mix of flavors! The peanut butter is not sweet and the jelly is only lightly sweetened. This is served with waffle fries, which are pretty good. My daughter ordered the STL AF ravioli. Three large, spaceship-shaped pillows full pork steak meat came on a tray with pasta sauce for dipping. She wasn't to hungry and wasn't sure what to think of them, so her Dad finished them for her. He said they were okay. Husband ordered the Hot Brown sandwich sand liked it pretty well. The food is ordered at the Window inside the Brewery and picked up when your buzzer buzzed. All drinks must be ordered at the bar (even soda) and there are free refills on soda. Though their website notes that they make all of their food from scratch, it usually doesn't take them long to put your order together. It's always a good idea to make an afternoon stop at Third Wheel Brewing for a refreshing beer! Conveniently located in St Peter's right off of highway 70, this place has plenty of room and lots of offerings for locals and visitors. They have a stage for live music however I've never visited when they have an event going on. They have seasonal beer offerings plus year round favorites. There is a kitchen so you can order some food to soak up all the alcohol, but I do have to say I'm not a huge fan of the food. This particular visit we did not order food, but we have several times in the past, and I just feel it is overpriced for the quality. The other thing I'm not a fan of is their mixed alcoholic drinks, which is normally what I order. I prefer to order the beer here! 8 of us visited this brewery and started with appetizers of fried onions and bar pretzels both were very good especially the onions. 630 pm and the place was bustling with people. Everyone had either beer,soda,wine or water. There are no servers, so if you want something to drink you go to the bar and food at the food counter, where they give you a buzzer that buzzes and vibrates when food is ready. There is a water and sweet tea station complimentary. Had a couple Blt wraps(good) a Cuban sandwich, a couple large salads with fried chicken,a fish and chips and a grilled cheese , all sandwiches came with waffle fries. Great place to hang and catch up with friends. For those who don't care to tip for service this is your spot, but there are tip jars at both stations if you want to show your appreciation. read more

For food, I got the Peanut Butter & Jam Burger which deserves whatever awards they've received for it. It had a crazy amount of textures AND flavors! I'm surprised it wasn't "too much". My one disappointment was the Sweet & Spicy Slaw, that I found to be NOT spicy at all. Even more disappointing because I was upcharged for this "premium" side. We came here after seeing this be recommended for breweries in the area. We were less than impressed with both our drinks and service. I ordered a cider, which I couldn't even finish because of how bitter/sour it was. My husband ordered a orange creamsicle style beer and it was good, but very sweet, especially for a beer. We sat at the bar, and had very little interaction with the bartenders. They never checked in with us once we had our drinks and they were hard to get their attention. At one point my husband has tried to get one of the bartenders attention and they just walked away. Needless to say we wouldn't come back here again. Unfortunate because this seemed like a cool place, but the service and drinks were less than subpar. read more

As an ally, I appreciate a St. Charles business being LBGTQ+ friendly. I tried 4 different beers and didn't care for any of them, I thought they were all very bitter. Maybe I just didn't find the one. The food is offered by a different company and is your typical bar food. It all looked good but the cubano and the pulled pork nachos were not that great.
