He was one of 2 to respond within a few hours and he was the first one on site. He worked tirelessly for hours over the course of 2 days and was finally able to identify the problem. The management does not communicate well, and it is not easy to reach them with any issues related to the schedule and/or the quality of service. When I discussed issues with Johnny today (11/24) regarding an unannounced change to today's cleaning and the subsequent ripple of changing it, he stated that he was doing the best he can and that "everyone has something and not everyone can get a regular schedule with the same cleaner..." That statement makes me wonder what one must do to become one of the clients with whom they have established regularity. Additionally, their emails often will drop into spam folders so if you do not monitor that folder, you will not see it. I was told, "if our system doesn't work for you, then perhaps we shouldn't be doing business with you." Client oriented this organization is NOT. (imagine a YODA voice) The schedule process is not ideal. Once you establish an initial schedule, they can and will change and without warning. One is never able to plan for a cleaning day. I like to be home when the cleaning occurs. For this reason, I plan other activities so that I can be present. When they cancel without notice, it through the day off. While someone else originally set up the account for me, she supplied my contact information at the time of initiation but for whatever reason, they don't use it. Any information that they provide her does not always reach me. When they do make changes, they make the changes in their system but do not let you know. The quality of the service is irregular. Since the beginning of service in July 2023 - at a rate of twice a week - there have been nine (9) cleanings completed in varying degrees of cleanness from four (4) different cleaners, Riley, Emma, Tiffany and Alishia. The first three were extremely poor cleaners and worked very slowly. Because Sparkling Cleaning employees are required to provide their own supplies, the quality of cleaning solutions, scents, etc. vary from cleaner to cleaner. That said, only Alishia works with efficiency and visible evidence of cleaning having occurred. She works quickly and is cordial. The other three provided sketchy service. How one can clean with just a couple of rags, one cleaning solution for all surfaces, a mop and water (no cleaning solution) and a vacuum is beyond me. Tiffany took the full three hours and aside from the bathrooms, it was quite visible that she did a poor job - dust remained on furniture, cobwebs in the corners of the stairs were not removed, etc. While the service provided by Sparkling Cleaning is not terribly expensive, caveat emptor.

President Ben Fullerton called right back then came down that day to survey the work, provided me with an estimate then, realizing I had a real emergency on hand, moved me to the top of his list and arranged his schedule to match mine such that he could get started asap. Pretty amazing. To summarize, once he got underground, the job turned out to be bigger than he first thought, but he kept me apprised of exactly what was required. He had to sub out some electrical work, and once he got the bill from the electrician he felt it was too high. Rather than just silently pass it along to me, he went to bat and got it lowered to a more reasonable number. Again, pretty amazing. I can't recommend Ben and his company highly enough: Very prompt service, very reasonable cost and most important, high quality, professional results. What more could you ask? Oh, I know... he and his co-workers are just really nice, pleasant folks to deal with.

He will take your business but will not do the work for months and months and he won't even be upfront about it. He would tell you couple weeks and before you know it it is three four months and the work is still not done and you don't even have a date on when it will get done. And if you make a mistake of calling him to ask when he would come to do the work, he wouldn't answer calls for weeks and weeks. And when he eventually answered, he was disrespectful and rude you he was yelling, screaming and swearing. Oh I forgot to mention the only reason he answered was because we called from a different phone number that he didn't recognize so probably thought a new job that he can sign a contract for but never does.
