Grass fed, grass finished, lovingly raised without hormones or antibiotics. The most nutrient dense, so no complaints here! We found BF Farms through google and although it wasn't the first farm we looked at, it was the farm we felt good about. From start to finish, the husband communicated with Jayne. We picked up our purchase from the Edmond location just yesterday and were so excited. Jayne took wonderful care of us. She gave us plenty of advice on how to cook some of the cuts we are not familiar with. She even sent us recipes for them. Such a lovely lady! A quarter of a cow got us around 20 pieces of steaks, stewing meat, broth bones, liver, beef cheek, tri-tips, strips, filets, loads and loads of minced beef, and a bunch of other cuts I've never heard of but very keen to try. Sourcing local foods and supporting these businesses is the way for us now and we will be back pretty soon when our stash runs out.
