I'm very happy with the work from RamJack. In the demo for our remodel, we discovered a 15' displaced crack in our slab caused by moisture that had rusted the rebar and caused it to expand. To make things worse, it was next to the longest/highest exterior wall of our house. NOT what we wanted to find in the middle of an already expensive project! RamJack was one of three slab repair companies that I asked to bid on the job. RamJack did a very thorough evaluation of my house and my slab issue. They examined the whole house, took measurements, went into the crawl space, etc. They were there 2-4 times longer than the other repair companies. They also recommended a more thorough repair than the other companies that involved replacing the rusted rebar with synthetic rebar (that they use in bridges), anodes to prevent future rusting of the remaining metal rebar, and quite a bit of new concrete. The others recommended just an epoxy fill of the crack and grinding it smooth. That could be ok if you're flipping the house and want to slap a band-aid on the problem and kick the can down the road, but we wanted our new kitchen and living room to rest on a solid foundation and not have to tear it up in a few years because the slab problems came back. Because RamJack was proposing a lot more work, their bid was much higher than the others. I wanted to go with their more extensive repair for peace of mind but at a price that we could afford. I explained the problem to Kyle and was able to negotiate a lower price that worked with our remodel budget. Thank-you Kyle! You were great to work with. When the time came to do the work, Jack and his crew did a great job. They were out at the house early, worked hard all day, and kept a clean work site. Jack was happy to answer my questions and explain what was being done. They did get called off one day because a foreman on another job was sick, but were back the next day. Not a big deal and they still finished within the time estimate (which was important because I had the work for the remodel lined up to go after the slab repair.) When they finished, the work was very solid, they did what they said they were going to do, and it looked great. Well done Jack. All in all, a great experience with RamJack. I'm happy I went with them, and feel really good about the quality of work. Unfortunately, I started off with a shady contractor who tried to not only take advantage of my situation, but is now forcing my hand with legal action. Ram Jack to the rescue...LOL Kyle performed his assessment and eased our worries and ensured us that we would be taken care of. We had an unusable crawlspace that had zero access to it and it was causing all kinds of extra damage on top of the water leak we suffered and had to claim through our insurance. We decided to go above and beyond what the insurance was paying for and not put a Band-Aid over a bullet wound. The solution was to back fill the crawlspace and pour a slab over the area, stitching it into the existing slab. We also discovered that we had a crack in our garage that needed fixed. The portion of the garage slab was cut out and re-poured, also stitching into the existing slab and the new pour in the adjacent room next to the garage and kitchen. The outside of the house had to be considered as well and we decided to have the concrete next to the house removed and re-poured with a drain that would prevent any water from entering under the house in any way (just in case). We also had a couple of cracks discovered under our tile that we had fixed with an epoxy stitching. The crew that showed up to work on our home are a great bunch of guys that listened to us and absolutely cared about doing the job the right way. The youngest of the crew was an 18 year old that has a better work ethic than a lot of seasoned adults we know...shout out and props. All in all, the entire crew, experience, and quality of work was actually beyond what we expected. Great job guys...now we just have to put our house back to the way it was, we have our work cut out for us. read more

Mike G. and Rob M. and the rest of the team are friendly and professional. I used RamJack for the repair of a cracked slab that required 8 helical piles and 70 feet of cracks that had to be epoxied and stapled. The whole process started during the purchase of the house when we noticed a slight bulge in the floor. Mike came to the house at the agreed time, surveyed the floor and took elevation measurements where it was determined that a portion of the slab had settled about 1.2 inches at the worst point. The purchase agreement re-negotiation and seller bankruptcy caused a six month delay to the project. Mike remained in touch during the entire time. Upon the close of escrow, Mike was able to slip-in this job between two large projects on the schedule. The repair took about a week and the slab was returned to within the specified tolerance. All debris was removed and the job site was left clean. I hope to not ever have to repair another slab but if I do, RamJack will be the first I'll call. Thank you RamJack! read more

Ram Jack just finished up yesterday late afternoon and I am wasting no time in posting this review because I've never been more pleased with a company and their employees in my life. My crew consisted of Dave Tinsman, Project Manager; Jeff, Job Foreman, and Robert, Shelby, Shawn and Cameron -- a better bunch of guys I've never met. From start to finish, the job went very smoothly. I had piers placed on three sides of my home and when the job was done, and the crew left, it looked like I had just cleared out shrubs to prepare to update my landscaping. They did a first rate job from start to finish. I had three companies submit bids, and Ram Jack's was the lowest, but I selected them because of the research I'd done, and reviews I'd read, prior to making a decision. Finally got under the house to check out the work. I have a raised foundation and all the stem walls were bulging and cracking due to the rebar rusting out. There was literally a crack around my house's entire stem wall. Furthermore most of the piers were deteriorating. I got four quotes; ram jack and don (estimator) were not the cheapest, but were definitely very competitive and offered the most comprehensive solution. They dug out all the iron rebar and replaced it with fiberglass rebar, along with replacing and retrofitting new piers and pads. Everyone else just wanted to paint and patch the existing problem, with little to no warranty. The crew was professional; the only surprise in the whole project was they bumped the work schedule up by a week! Only company to give a lifetime guarantee. Great company, highly recommended. Very good company . I would recommend them and will be using their service again if/when needed. We had some damages repaired and the work was done quick and efficiently , no complaint there they know their work and they are good at what they do but why am I reviewing them? Because they went out of their way to fit us in at the very last minute on their booking schedule as it was a rush on our part with guests coming into town and hosting a party that very same week. I and my wife were impressed that they handled our stressful situation in a quick no hassle way when they were already pretty booked up during that week. I was able to speak to Mike over the phone for a foundation assessment due to floor cracking. Mike made it very ease to schedule, actually next day scheduling at 10am (WOW)! Mike was very personable and explained the entire 1 hour assessment to expect. Come day of assessment, Don, presented to our home right on time at 10am. Again, a very personable man. Explained the process, he drew out our home and did internal and external measurements. Went into our crawl space. I had a foundation stem wall that had large horizontal cracks as a result of spalling which was caused by the rebar rusting. The rust expands, the concrete thereby cracks, and the cracks over months or years get wider and wider. If completely ignored, the stem wall--in theory--could decay away and the wall structure would be compromised, and ultimately the roof. Ram Jack came in, gave an estimate, checked the level of the garage, and did a thorough repair. They tore out all of the bad concrete and rusted rebar, replaced the metal rebar with fiberglass rebar, and did a re-pour and patchng. A year later, it still looks great. Derek took over my lame attempt at plan submissions and reviews with great determination, and also coordinated with the structural engineer. The-Other-Kyle ran the job without any upset to tenants on the occupied side of my duplex, was wonderful about keeping me in the loop, and left the job looking better than it was to begin with. I think Ram Jack is AMAZING . Don Schroeder came out to see my very Large retaining wall on Mississippi st . It was RETAINING WATER for a while and the stucco was coming off . He Looked at it inside and out on an inspection. Noted that the Drain holes had been blocked and gave me the company and person to contact.
